Hell yeah. Though at the time, I didn't know he was a Dio homage, but later on when I read JoJo and found out how it all relates, it became much cooler. Dawn has weaker everything, pretty much. Its only good points over Aria are maybe the bosses, the variety between weapons (how they're used, etc.) and the bonus mode. And the boss music. The boss themes in Aria sucked (except Julius').

Aria's Death was indeed better, but both Chaos and Menace were alright. Overall, I think Dawn's bosses left a much bigger impression on me. Pupper Master, Zephyr, Paranoia, Abaddon, etc. Though Aria still wins because Julius.

There's Carmilla in the past games, and Alucard is half-vampire. Then there's Order of Ecclesia which has a ton of vampires (including a Chinese one!). Dawn of Sorrow's story/characters are best ignored. Wait, what? I never remember anything like that. Dracula has always been Dracula as far as I know. I don't think his vampire powers derive from the castle, but yes, his immense magical powers are from the castle. I don't see how that or the Death thing is bad, though.

You should play it. It will help you love vampires (since Legacy of Kain already made you halfway like them).

They know, but they don't really give a damn. Incidentally, Castlevania has the truest portrayal of the classic vampire in Japanese games (that I've seen). Dracula, at least. He's the same old Dracula just...a lot more powerful.

A sword depends on size and quality too. You can't just pick up any rusted sword and expect to fight well with it. And you can't pick up say, a claymore, and expect to handle it well when you don't have the necessary strength/skill for such a weapon. EDIT: Soul Soul Soul...Devil May Cry is about demons, not vampires.

Very tough. And yeah, it's too comprehensive. Almost everything that makes the internet enjoyable is...not there. Youtube, most every image/file uploading website, etc. Though as long as I can still visit the FE4 THREAD, among other things, I'm not complaining.
