  1. Ending a chapter is entirely controlled by events, so anything you can do with the event system (or edit into the events system by modifying the code) you can use as a victory condition.

You can also catch up with the earlier parts of the playthrough, if you missed them the first time around. Also look forward to the next release in the near future, with fixes and content added to the current chapters (and maybe a new character hmmmm? perhaps a new character could even show up in the videos above???)
  3. This is definitely on the right track, and the design works, just needs some work on the execution. Pad shading, trim antialiasing, where exactly the shadows are going, etc. And go with the covered arm on the strong one.

  6. I did a face sprite for some reason. Merc did the shading on the body what a cool guy Pellenore, the Etrurian Archery-General. She sure looks like a weirdo! Seriously, what's up with all that woad? What's up with that hair? What's her deal! How very overdue Kitsu did the tween frames in the return how helpful

MonoGame, which I'm using for the OSX version, also runs on Android, and I confirmed it's very possible to get it running early last year, but to actually compile the code for mobile requires a very not free Xamarin license, and my 30 day trial is very run out. /points suggestively at the donate button
  8. Are you on hard classic mode? You need to update to the latest version, hard mode isn't done past chapter 7, the update will move you down to normal so you can keep playing

  10. Is it just no music, is there sound? If so do you have music turned off in the ingame options?
  11. Only at the end of a chapter, when the rankings screen pops up. The game stores the rankings over the course of the whole chapter and uploads it all at once. The rankings data is on average a whole 5KB though, so it's not much to be concerned about! Nope. Mid-chapter checkpoints are generous, casual mode exists, and turns/battles can be skipped with start to speed things up. Savestates are just egregious overkill.

  13. Posting my response to part of the questionnaire, because I'm basically the authority on FE game design in the community I think the insight might be helpful to others. Anyway gl with the game
  14. 7x requires OpenAL for audio now, which is new compared to the previous version. No idea what you'd have to do to get OpenAL working with Wine programs, but that's your starting point at least. @Wander I'll take a look at it tomorrow
  15. It's planned for FEE3, but a ton of things are planned for FEE3. We'll see what ones get done.
  16. So hey I finally got FE7x running stably on OSX, wow! Everything looks like it's running fine, so if you're on a Mac try it out, and if any problems come up let me know about them. Also this! Starting from this release, whenever a new version of FE7x comes out the game will let you know at the main menu. maybe some day you'll be able to click the link and go straight to the site, or update the game without even opening a web browser, but today is not that day But for now you'll have to download v0.5.0.3 the old fashioned way ~' 3'~ And as always there's also your standard bugfixes and such, if you've had any problems with the previous release.
  17. Any size, the engine figures it out on the fly based on how many emotes you have set for a specific sprite

I just ported over the new version to my MacBook and started getting it to work, the game launches but has a handful of weird glitches I have to fix first, but I think we'll definitely have a Mac version for FEE3 at the latest. That means it doesn't work in the arena, or during the training sessions at base; only against normal enemy units. Also it's a 10% boost. Nothing huge, but bands do stack.
  21. Pretty good, since I got a beta demo out for NCFC, so I'll have a more complete and fixed up version for FEE3 ~'3'~
  22. Yeah it turns out I didn't playtest classic mode thoroughly/at all, so it has some bugs. Ch12 actually would have become available for you after beating Tr1 and Tr2, lol They're only supposed to fight exactly these units (and that fighter just off the bottom), and then exit the map. This means they also wouldn't kill some of the units that are going after the west blob of NPCs, making those NPCs less effective. And the Pheraens did correctly kill only a small group and leave until I changed the pathfinding system slightly to make events look better, which made Meredith think the escape point was further away than it was and that half the enemies on the map were blocking her from getting to it :T Anyway, just uploaded v0.5.0.2, fixing those issues as well as some others, and adding more support convos. If you played Ch11 at all already, you should replay it to get the real experience!
  23. Oh Oh wow this is a huge bug, the Pheraens are not supposed to pass the treeline on the east edge of the map. Meredith seems to be largely ignoring her AI mission, and is just tearing her way across the map instead of leaving like she's supposed to. Also, there is a Ch12! From the sound of it maybe it's not unlocking? I'm double checking that now, while I fix Ch11.
