She'd be a dagger user. A dagger with skill like giving lull of follow up to an adjacent unit etc
Daisy
Another dagger unit. This time she would have a perfect dagger and super speed and defense (since she flees in the games)
Natalie
A good staff unit, in a horse or pegasus, since she cant walk.
Marisha
Make her a colourless tome. There's enough staff in Archanea. So I think Yuliya and Marisha should be perfect tomes.
Bors
Make him a far save armor, there's not much armors in Binding Blade. His hair is too beautiful to be ignored.
Artemis
A mythical Artemis in th same banner with Anri would be quite cool. Pretty much like they did with Formotiis and Gotoh.
Granye
I can see her being another staff unit, but they can give her a dagger/knife as well, since It fits a civilian. I just want her, in honestly, regardless of weapon.
Randall
That would be quite cool having the Cipher characters in Valentia banner. The one I want the most is Randall.
There's some more that were mentioned like Jake and Almedha. And some that are obscure just because they are in Thracia: Xavier, Robert, Lara and Amalda.

Well there's ascended Tana with a wyvern so they can give Caeda a wyvern mount in an ascended alt, or Brave alt If she ever gets It one day. In canon I can see it happening only If her Pegasus get injured in battle so she needs to find another mount
She is a princess, yes, but I dont see her having every Pegasus at her disposition, seeing that her kingdom was small and not very wealthy, so it means that she got a mount that was available for her at the time, with her pegasus not being an option, in the heat of battle

I think Archanea games will eventually aee a remake like Kanto remakes. It honestly needs It. But not to soon.
Probably after Tellius get a remake which means in at least a decade from now.

You can say that becoming the queen of a country in one of the endings isn't much but the bar was already on the ground after "I only exist if you buy a DLC, and even in said DLC I don't do anything that LEGENDARY" Yuri and "I don't do anything legendary and I'm not even the canonical queen of the lord, unlike Caeda and Nanna who had that going for them" Lilina.
Being fair Lilina also becomes queen in the end regardless of who she is paired with, that's why she got a legendary I guess, even though its just a note in the ending credits. But agree that Hinoka deserves more than her.

I would dislike a lot and its unnecesary. If a sequel is needed then give the player options by answering It in quotes like a character answering who is their mother or rather and maybe causing branching routes.
One of the best good things of Fire Emblem other than the strategy is the freedom they give to choose the characters Fates, só why take that out of the player?
That said I wouldn't get mas If my favourite pairings were canonized (which are often not the most popular or pushed ship of the game even when It has a big following), but in aware that It would upset a lot of people who are invested in other ships, so its not fair to anyone.

Coloured hair its an anime thing but I dont think It's part of Fire Emblem flair much more than any other anime. The trailer shows that the characters are recognizable even though It looked a bit goofy because of low cash. With a supposed good production they would look realistic and good. Saying that you would look unrecognizable and the same means that all real life people look boring and equal, which is obviously not true. Though I understand that at the beginning It could be weird seeing the anime characters we are used to, looking like real people since everybody imagine them in realistic version differently, but its a matter of getting used.

That's my answer, anyway. New setting, characters, and lore. We Fire Emblem fans are already onboard with the idea that these games take place in separate worlds with different lore and mechanics. But the amount of characters in individual games spans far beyond a typically sized cast list for film or tv. An original story gets to write as many characters as it needs - one to represent every series-staple class perhaps? And with no "cuts" to the roster. And wouldn't it be annoying to have discussions about how well they adapted Sumia, Kieran, or Felicia? With a new cast, our preconceptions of what these characters should be would be left at the door. Also, if it's live action (as it should be, imo), we won't have to see attractive young actors show up in gross colored wigs just because of "source material".
There are not many key ingredients to a fire emblem story. A sword lord, a macguffin called the fire emblem, a little girl that turns into a dragon. And if it ends up being bad? Well, then the idea of switching to doing adaptations isn't tainted forever. Low risk, low-concept compared to other fantasy settings. If anything, a Fire Emblem film's toughest obstacle is seeming challenging ENOUGH to pursue.
I think a live action won't have the characters have colourful hairs. It will be realistic. The Nintendo trailer made Lyn blonde and Lucina brunette. Weaboos will dislike but hair coloured cosplays will turn off most of the public
The trailer to have an idea on how some characters could look with realistic hair coloured (its quite cheap and a bit trashy, in a live action hopefully the costumes, effects and hairs will hopefully be better though lol)

Being honest a lot of stories are adapted from older games and books, Witcher, LOTR, Castlevania are from older media but with established fanbases. It just needs someone to take interest, more likely a fan (LOTR and Caatlevania producers were fans of the series), coupled with good writers to do It.
I think Genealogy and Three Houses could easily appeal the audiences nowadays since political dramas are in. Every Fire Emblem has it though Genealogy specially, has similarities of other shows already in popular culture.
I think Elibe games, if fleshed out well, could turn a beautiful gerational story, a bit lighter in tone but with a bittersweet tone.
Sacred Stones could be turned into a great dark fantasy, but they would need good budget for effects in the monsters and magic.
Archanea (Shadows of Valentia and Shadow Dragon) saga as a greek-roman fantasy epic. The last produtions I can think that was big, was Xena, Hercules and Troy, but Xena and Troy was trashy, i'd rather something more serious lol
I think Fates could be something more akin Alchemy of Souls with a bit of a darker theme. And It has some good ideas that weren't well implemented on game but without the disjointed format, It can turn great in a TV show with some rewritings and fixings. The cast and setting is interesting actually.

Its well known, but I wouldn't say mainstream. Honestly, i'm the only gamer of my circle. If I talk with my friends about Fire Emblem, they won't know it or its characters. But If I talk with them about Pokemon and Mario or even something like Mortal Kombat, they will all recognise the IP and its most iconic characters.
Even the most known characters due to smash: Ike, Lucina, Marth... They arent known by the average people, but they are known in the gaming circles. So its not a small franchise but its still niche

Other Idea of Fire Emblem animation or tv show is covering other time periods to expand the world and promote a game, (more likely) a remake. For example,
- a story that covers the crusaders of Jugdral.
- A story that covers Chroms father crusades and tell a bit of Robin's mother and Validar.
- The time period of Anselma, Lambert, Tiana;
-or covering the story of Rhea against Nemesis when Flayn and Seterh were alive as well.
- Mikoto and Arete times in Valla and First periods in Nohr and Hoshido courts
-The time of Morva, Nada Kuya and the founder heroes in Magvel, etc... Etc...

I'd love a tv show. Following any of the games, like game of Thrones, a big budget live action and more realistic. Honestly, animes often have huge clichês and dumbed down stuff, Fire Emblem has potential to be a big epic with the great writers and producers. Even the games with simpler stories like Archanea, Awakening and Elibe have potential to be turned great with some fleshing out and some added twists
The main problem is that any story would create a lot of issues with the current fanbase: pairings and routes and gender of avatar, and most importantly, who dies and lives. They would need to kill characters, period. Unless they decide to put a Fate: Zero, Stay Night, etc and create different versions for different outcomes, which would be complicated as well but a better solution, though in this case would work better as an anime.
The producers can ignore the whinny fanbase and do whatever they want, since they would also target a biggest audience. I think It has a lot of potential of a good tv show or a mature darker animation.

I understand. But it's also the less controversial option as well. The other games didn't have this issue because there wasn't different lords in split routes (in Fates Corrin is the solo lord in all routes). There's some questionable choices like Lyn over Hector and Eliwood, and Celica over Alm, but huh waifus and there's no conflict of story between them. Byleth is the only constant in all routes and the story follows him and his point of view so he is the protagonist, by narrative perspective would make no sense Edelgard being there, neither Claude or Dimitri. Also being popular doesn't make anything canon, or shouldn't make, but oh well Lucina is there instead of Chrom, so...

To be perfectly honest, the whole conversation around Lilina is entirely moot when IS themselves have shown that they consider Lilina to be important, to the point where even other companies making merch give her things alongside Roy (speaking specifically of the upcoming statues of Roy and Lilina from Good Smile).
I think it's more because of her popularity in Japan, because she is Hectors daughter and cute girl.

Yes, having the writing fleshed out would be nice. But this is speculation and hopeful thinking, and while her role can be increased, so it can be said about other characters on the game like Sue and Wilt who are in the cover, and others like Cecilia, etc. So what's the point of talking of something that may never happen as if it's a fact ? The closest to co lord is Guinivere and maybe Elffin stretching a lot. Even Merlinus has more scenes than Lilina, so it's a big wtf moment when she is brought up in such cases. It's more nonsense than the guys whining that Edelgard is not treated as the unique protagonist
But let's hope that Lilina turns a goddess in the remake

In any case, with the most recent trailers showing that the emblems take on red and dark clothing when corrupted by evil magic, I think I figured out the real reason that Byleth was picked over Edelgard: Edelgard already wears red and dark clothing. How would they make an Edelgard Emblem look corrupted by evil magic? Make her look like Hegemon Edelgard?
I just see some Edelgard die hard fans upset with Byleth. Everybody else understand that Byleth is indeed the protagonist and that Edelgard is not the Canon route, therefore would make no sense having her representing Three Houses over Claude or Dimitri.
The only choice that makes zero sense is Lucina over Chrom or Robin. And maybe Lyn over Hector or Eliwood, but Lyn is a lord on her own, so why not?

Well she never rode Roy on my playthrough. Anyway I don't get why some randoms try to insert her everywhere on Binding Blade. She is a basically no character in the game, no better than Cecilia, Sue or even Larum.
Realistically though I can see other lords that didn't make the cut, and opposite gender avatars being added in dlcs as rings, but there will be no place for 'randoms' like Kjelle, Lilina, Malakov, Yuri and other side characters that people are mentioning. Unless IS decides to go crazy like they did with random bath dlcs on Awakening, but this would make the rings a bit pointless.

Well Edelgard is not there because they can't chose any Three Houses lord: that would be unfair, would make half of the fanbase angry and would low key canonized one route regardless of who they picked, so Byleth is the safer choice plus they are indeed the protagonist of Three Houses.
I'm more surprised that they picked male Byleth instead of the female one who is arguably more popular.
