Oh hey cool this is still going. Good to know. But that aside, I noticed that while the dropbox link works on FEU, the links here on SF seem to not work and I just wanted to post that just so it gets fixed.

Not to mention it would be a pain to rebalance the whole game with skills in mind. You can't just drop them in for no reason lol

RNG is RNG. You just got unlucky I would assume.

Due to 1-F’s fog I didn’t want to overdo it with enemy aggresiveness. Being able to accidentally trigger bosses, plus reinforcments or charging enemies could become frustrating quickly. I’ll keep this in mind though, and I’ll try to increase the danger and pace
I understand. I also saw that the recruitable character was intentionally made immobile and out of enemy range so I was wondering if that was part of the reasoning. Hopefully there's a way to increase the tension without it becoming more annoying than fun.

Guess I'll give my op on what's here so far since I beat the available chapters.
Story: I'm enjoying it so far. I'm interested in what's going on and the writing is not too long or short and still gets to the point. Can't say much without it being done or there being more specifically to comment on. On a side note, I like that bosses have a little nudge of character without going overblown. It makes you feel that the people you fight are a bit more than some stronger cronies who's over the top evil or something.
Gameplay: 1-0
Pretty straight foward while also showing off the usefulness of the few units you have so far. Find it odd though that Bryce only has one of his usable weapons but I guess it works. I also agree that this chapter should probably be renamed 1-P.
1-1
A fun escape chapter though I feel the chests are in a bit of an annoying spot. Otherwise all good. Actually, unless otherwise stated, assume I think the chapter is nice other than whatever I mention.
1-2
Nothing really to note.
1-3
Having the choice on what to buy actually be tough for once in a fire emblem game is very nice. Me like.
1-4
A really well done defense chapter with something to do on both phases. Probably one of the best defense chapters I've seen in a hack. Also having a peg unit who is centered around her bases (and ability to promote almost instantly) is interesting and I like the idea.
1-5
Nothing to note.
1-F
I feel like the chapter is a little slow paced. For a chapter where the enemy is attacking (story-wise), they sure don't make much of an effort to go towards you at all unless you go into their range.

Hi cool hack, but I am experiencing a glitch at chapter 10. After the chapter start events, the game goes back to the title screen and when I resume it yet again goes back to the title meaning I can't continue forward through the game.

Just advertising me running a low level run for DQ11. Rules/format/whatever in the vid's description.
Any views or attention is appreciated. Hopefully, it all goes well.

None of my other 20/20 units had 4 capped stats though and only Algimas had 3.
But I assume they were close at least? I only argue this because going off of pure growths and bases she isn't perfect.

By end game, I had a 20/20 Aceline that had capped Strenght, Skill, Speed and Defense and had 56 HPs without stat boosting investment (that I remember).
So I don't think that Aceline here in the picture is all that artificial.
Well it is a 20/20 unit so i would expect some capped stats

I mean it's safe to say you definitely just pushed a shit ton of statboosters on her. With her growths, she'd never look THAT good without rigging them all and/or buying a ton of statboosters from the secret shop.

Perfect, thank you! I was fearing "Ike duel" or "only Wayland's weapon can damage this boss" situations.
Can confirm, there's a chapter not long after he's able to promote where wayland is forced, but he is never required otherwise. He can be useful that map, but he's not 100% required. You might just have to play the map quicker than you might otherwise.

Nice bait mate but it's too late so eat my 8.

I don't suppose there's any context clues as to where we use the member card
Hint
Spoilertry the location the enemy holding one originally was standing on at the beginning of the map.

Also, some endings are glitched (i.e. I remember Ianna x Shuuda was) I think depending on the version, but the supports should still work no matter what after the "lyn's story" section.

Can you please provide a .sav for the chapter 14 glitch? I did not run into it during my testing.
The chapter 12/13 issue is just a balancing issue, other than the boss convo one.
Sent the save in a PM.
I assumed the 12/13 was an issue because 12's reinforcements were the exact same every other turn and it felt like an unnaturally large amount of enemies to repeatedly be shown for so many turns so late in the chapter, and 13's reinforcements stacked on top of each other on the map.
-
Reinforcements seem to be glitched again with the later chapters. Chapters 12 and 13 so far in particular. 12's repeat ad nauseum, while 13's come all at once and will overlap each other. I'll try to get past 13 to see if those also freak out if they do have reinforcements
Edit: Also, the boss of chapter 13 has his boss convo for Derek with Nicole. AKA when you initiate combat with Nicole, you get Derek's convo instead of whatever hers is.
Edit 2: Chapter 14 is glitched in that if you kill the female boss, the juda fruit convo occurs (from the beginning of the chapter) and then the chapter goes back to the prep screen with Astrea now starting where she was before the boss kill.

About that "incompleteness," I believe that the other two "lords" who only join near the end were supposed to also have their own storyline/path to go through, but the court stuff probably made the team decide, with their lesser budget now due to court fees, it was best to just keep what they had done so they could finish the game before the PS1 was completely dead. It's kinda sad that TRS probably only did so poorly and was clearly only half done all due to Nintendo who wouldn't try to make a project on Kaga's scale until PoR and RD. It's also funny considering they straight up stole his ideas from his left notes as there are many similarities in story between TRS and FE7, and apparently the same can be said for BS and PoR/RD. Kaga's story is a sad one all things considered, but at least some people appreciate his hard work.

So about the Bael chapter
SpoilerIt seems that the eventing for the "bad choice" to put it simply aka not warning the chief, doesn't work as I got down to the boss at the bottom and killed all enemy bosses and the chapter does not end. Saving the villages works fine, but the alternate doesn't work.

Is there a specific type of fe7 rom you need? Because for me it says that the ROM is not compatible with the patch.
Is it the US version of the rom?

Time to add another game to the already long-ass list.

So all I need to do is attack her with one (or both) of her former comrades and then I'm all good to recruit her on chapter 20?

I can confirm as well that while the FEU link works, the one here on SF still doesn't seem to work for whatever reason. Assumedly it's trying to link to the previous version of this patch and failing or something idk.
