The main banner, just like the spring banner.

We can expect side banners showing up sometime during its run as well, for the upcoming GHB and Voting Gauntlet and potentially any other events. Speaking of which, we should learn what those are after today's maintenance through datamines.

Ahh ok, I couldn't remember if spring was main or side, that's why I asked. Might be a while for more new characters then :/

  2. Nooooooo whyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Looks like I'm gonna be passing on both of the first two seasonal banners. And I passed up on trying for Ninian in case someone I liked was in this banner, I should have known.

And Lyn isn't even a bow user wtf is with that?!

Ike attended Mist's wedding. It was a splendid occasion, her husband was adorned from head to toe in a 7-foot tall, soundproof, visually impenetrable black fabric to keep spectators from fighting over whether Boyd or Rolf was the groom (it was Sothe- he came to realize sexual relations with Micaiah his mother-sister figure were creepy, she was in attendance by the way, told that her husband Sothe had been suffering from terrible indigestion). Rolf and Boyd for their part were not present, Mist had told Oscar of who she truly loved and had been dating all this time, he had done his part to keep his brothers from finding out and laced their food with a natural sleeping agent the night before. With Largo's help, Oscar locked his brothers in separate rooms and hired Volke, Ulki and Janaff to keep eye on them.

Eventually it came time for Mist to throw the wedding bouquet into the crowd of eager ladies in attendance, among them were Jill, Lyre, Mia and Lethe (the former fought anyone who she thought was being sexist which turned out being about half the attendees, and the latter hissed for a good 15 minutes total over the course of the hour long pre-reception part of the wedding), as well as Nephenee who didn't want to join in, but did because Calill nudged her to. This very unique and special bouquet was bought from an old florist on an island where mysterious people and things come and go for some inexplicable reason. For she was already in full bridal garb, nothing happened when Mist threw it in the air. With strength she inherited from her father Greil, she overshot the young women wanting of the bouquet, and Ike, watching the shadows from a distance in his stoic manner, with his perfect reflexes caught it in an instant as it made a dead-on approach to his head.

Suddenly, a bright flash of light happened and lightning bolts rang out as soon as the bouquet touched the palms of Ike's hands. When everything cleared, Ike was now adorned in a translucent, white, silky ballgown. Though he sought to maintain his fairly rugged and emotionless expression, it was clear that he was shocked by what happened, as was everyone else. Aimee made the first comment, both serious and jovial in the same breath. Soon everyone followed, though Oscar, Ranulf and Soren all helped Ike leave to change into normal clothing, they too did not refrain from making a little joke. Fortunately, the unexplained disappearance of this magical bouquet helped, as soon the girls got into an argument as to who had stolen it. As Ike turned his head back to see what was happening as the fighting worsened, he was greeted by the sight of Nephenee standing atop Lyre with one foot and Lethe with the other, both of them shifted, her lance, he had no idea where she pulled it from, was ready for action. And in the next moment Astrid with a Killer Axe came running at Nephenee, only to have her kidneys grazed by Marcia's Wishblade- before Ilyana electrocuted her with Rexbolt.

    The End.

This was beautiful, well worth the read XD

There are two things I’ve been thinking about for a while.

    1) What if the datamined so-called Kozaki quests rewarded +1 tokens for story characters? Anything that takes me even a tiny bit closer to 5⋆ 40+10 Sharena is welcome.

    2) What if they reintroduced the weapon challenge quests? I thought those really nice to break up the monotony of prismatic teams.

    3) In addition to the preceding, Ayra, Lucia, Marisa, and Athena when? This game needs some cool sword ladies apart from Lyn and Lucina.

That'd be cool, I don't know how viable it'll be in terms of balance though, depending on how easy they r to get.

Bring it, the more quests the more quest rewards the more orbs.

Ayra and Marisa would be awesome! I'll throw Mia in there too. The female mymidons are way way better.

And they're both B skills too. They truly are a pair.

Oh, Stahl and Sully both give great Assists (Swap and Draw Back) too.

I wonder what fodder skills Sain and Kent will bring...

I hope they'll have new custom ones, they're the best Christmas knights imo (no I'm totally not biased what r u talking about). I bet sain has death blow or something similar, while Kent will have a reverse armored blow (+6 def while defending). He isn't known for it but I think it fits his personality well.

You have one of Nino's best rolls and you're not using her?

Can you give her to someone else please? XD You do realize that Nino with buffs literally kills everything in the game. Nino is basically Ragnarok

    She does your taxes

    She pays your bills

    She cures world hunger

    All of that stuff.

There is no "I play very defensively" in this game

This game is "Find the most busted thing and use it".

Right now, your Julia is okay. But Nino is basically better Julia dude. Especially with her desperation set. Give your Azura Hone attack (though you probably already did that), swap out Julia for Fury/Life and Death 3 Nino and you basically have the same thing except its 20 times better.

I just don't like her. I have her at +1 4* lv26 right now, but I'm not gonna build her until I finish with everyone else. I didn't like her in blazing sword and I don't like her here. Really Julia is the only unit I like in the game so far, and I have her totally decked out so I don't want to stop using her. If I ever get to a point where Julia can't win me almost everything I'll consider switching. I don't have my Azura with hone attack, yet. I gave it to her but she has no sp right now so she still has fortify res equipped. Which actually helps cuz my Julia takes barely any damage at all from mages after a res buff.

Edit: I really do play defensively. It works fine for me, the only reason I don't go deathless is cause I get overconfident and don't look at everything.

Edit 2: Re-checked what I've already given her and she can learn LaD 2 and Desperation 3, I haven't messed with the rest yet. Maybe I'll build her after Eirika and Hector. But I also wanted to do Donnel to give Effie brace lance+. Choices choices.

Depends on how your team works and depends on the map as well. Since Male robin is defensive and he has T-adept, I can put him in front of blue lances in extreme cases, AND I can put him in front of anything red or colorless. Nino has 29 Res which isn't bad at all, and is really good for mage combat. Azura and Olivia are my "switch-ins"

Yeah I don't think that would work for me :)

My main team is Julia, Azura, Effie, Ike, but really it's just Effie facetanking while Julia snipes from behind a wall. Ike and Azura just kinda hang out in case I get in trouble.

I have a +spd -def Nino that I haven't really trained up because she's more of a offensive unit and i play very defensively, as u can probably tell from all that bait and tank talk.

  8. 6 minutes ago, SatsumaFSoysoy said:

You don't actually need to bait mages if you don't want to, since you can just get the AI to walk in a straight line directly towards you.

But u have to bait initially or the enemy won't move :/

    6 minutes ago, Arcanite said:

    Easy

    >Tap and drag Nino onto an enemy

    Win

It actually doesn't get more simple than that. For Lloyd, I let Robin get in range of the bow user, then Nino killed the flying cav with a dance. After that i don't remember exactly what happened besides "Everyone died"

For Xander, Nino needed +10 to OHKO the lance (Hone attack buff and fort res 2) which was Azura and Olivia exactly. Robin killed the sword on the right. After that some dancing and draw back shenanigans made it EZ bangerz

Uhh ok. I just had Julia hit everything real hard against Lloyd, but for the others, especially Michalis, it was bait, tank, and ko on user turn.

    I don't get it

Probably a couple weeks from now

Speaking of which, I need to make my prediction!

I predict that Male Robin, Nino, Azura, and Olivia can do the Camus map

Lets see if this'll work like it did the last time!

No way. U don't have anyone who can tank a hit from him. He's a lancer right? I'd say Effie/Hector, Azura, a green mage, speedy sword lord (Lucina)

I mean thats basically the tl;dr for how 2 train Cavalry lol

The only difference is Xander did it while taking literally no damage while Ursula did it while soloing 10th stratum at level 15-20

Hah my team is actually Eliwood Xander and Ursula with a leveled Titania with hone cav to babysit. Needless to say I'm actually having fun leveling them.

  11. 3 minutes ago, JSND said:

Honestly its kinda baffling how badly/unorthodox distributed Eliwood stats are

He had the highest stats off any Cavalry in the game but in practice you wont really notice it. Most of them are slapped on Res, and he had 31/30 offensive spread before Durandal

    U ninjaed urself ?

Edit: I'm actually training one up now and when honed he's pretty amazing. Only 3* so far but he'll get there one day.

According to the version of FE Heroes Wiki's tier list that factors in skill inheritance, Roy is better than Eliwood while they are both in the A tier.

Sorry to be a buzzkill. :P

Is he really? Huh, I thought after ice dragons research and pianime's Eliwood post it was decided that Eliwood was actually one of the better units and just undervalued.

Hey guys, I think my Reinhardt and Freddy might be a pretty damn powerful team! Freddy lets Reiny be able to take hits with a def boost to his already 29 def, and Reiny in return can boost him with Goad Cavalry when I teach him it. Freddy also gets him out of harm's way with Reposition while Reiny takes out red units that Freddy can't handle too well.

Only problem is that BOTH have lower res than def. Azura being there can help Reinhardt take a magic hit or two, though. Just need to do my best to keep Freddy away from mages unless he can safely one-round them.

Do u have an Eliwood by any chance? U could make a pretty devastating horse team there.

i might be more excited for the excuse plot than the units themselves, whatever troll logic Veronica is using to have 4 random brides fight us should be good.

Haha I didn't even think of this. That should be really fun.

I bring the trainee, Azura, Lissa, and a unit that can kill things my trainee doesn't want to fight. So I'm pretty patient if you ask me. It's just dumb when not even fellow Sword users can be reliable EXP for Roy.

Is your Azura not strong enough to replace the leveled unit u bring? If u train 2 at once it's easier to cover the triangle so it'll actually go a little faster cause u arnt worried about wasting exp as much.

Maybe he's not good at all if everyone has problems with him. For a while all I had was him and Azura so in comparison to everyone else he was pretty damn good.

  16. 2 minutes ago, SatsumaFSoysoy said:

He only has 23 Def as a 4*, so that kinda sucks for a 1-range hero. Mine is also +Res, and 28 is respectable. But 29 Spd combined with 23 Def is way too frail.

Well he's not meant to go head to head with physical units. He's a mage counter, that's probably why he isn't working well for u. Really the only physical units he should go up against are greens.

  17. 14 minutes ago, SatsumaFSoysoy said:

Been trying to train up a 4* Roy, and HOLY SHIT is he bad. I don't think 5* and Binding Blade will fix any of his bulk problems.

I pulled him at 5* pretty early on and he was fine for me. Mines +res -def which was actually kinda nice cuz with Azura fortify res he was an amazing mages tank.
