Just by looking at the picture, the first two characters that popped into my mind were Chrom and Lucina, but it also might look like Clarine and Klein (but it's probably unlikely they'd chose them). It could be Ninian or Azura though, judging by their hair/stance. The egg that the female character is holding might be a Dragonstone, but it could be a staff, too.

Well, you have to look at each character’s pros and cons. Marth- Pros- High Speed, and has Average other stats Cons-All of his stats are average, which means that he doesn’t exceed or suffer high/low stats (which is good AND bad) Roy- Pros- High Speed, High Resistance Cons- Lowest Attack and Defense out of these three units, but not that much of a difference compared to Marth. Seliph- Pros- High HP, High Attack, High Defense Cons-Really low Speed and Resistance (could get doubled by speedy units and get one shotted by Magic Units with high attack) In my opinion, I would use Roy out of these three units, because Marth has average stats, and Seliph is kind of a glass cannon due to his low speed and resistance. Roy has better stats than Marth except for a few things, but only by a difference by 1 or 2.

I am playing Conquest right now (I’m on chapter 24), and I don’t use Odin, Laslow, or Selena, but I regret not using Laslow. I need one more unit on my permanent team, and since he is underleveled, I just use Gunter or Leo. I like all three of these units, though, personality wise. All of them are very funny and entertaining. I just like Laslow more, and Odin the least.

I did catch that, but I looked through the recent posts and saw that some people asked for 2 at a time, and you did 2 for them at a time, so I thought you would be okay with it. Plus I would be at school and couldn't check if you made a badge to make another request, and there weren't a lot of other requests, so... Sorry about the 2 at a time request. Same. I used Xander for like one chapter, and he's okay for me, but definitely not one of the best characters in Fates. I voted for Effie as Top Tier, but it looks like some people disagree...

Effie has better growth rates than Silas, first of all, and when Effie levels up, she levels up, but whenever Silas levels up, he doesn't really get that much from it. Secondly, the only "copy unit" to Effie is Benny, but Effie has better stats by then. Silas has Peri and Xander by then, in which case Xander might be the strongest out of these three. Even though Effie has low speed, if you give her Brave Lance she will just destroy all the enemy units.

Definitely. I began to use Silas, but he wasn't getting anywhere for me so I just gave up on him. Xander is much better than Silas, but Effie is better than Xander. (Oops, accidentely double posted, thought this was edited into latest post)

Effie has some pretty good skills herself, too. Silas and Xander especially have a hard time raising their Stats when they level up. They only gain 2 or 3 stats, while Effie almost always levels up her HP, Str, Def, and Luck.

By reclassing, I mean changing to a class other than one obtainable by a Master Seal.

Xander does have good Strength and Defense, but he also has a low hit rate. Plus you get Xander in the middle of the game, and your other units are close to the same level as him. But Xander also gets bodied by mages if you're not careful, due to his low RES. Effie is one of the best characters in Fates! She starts off with 23 HP, 13 STR, and 14 DEF. And that's in Chapter 7. she has a 55% growth rate in HP, 80% growth rate in STR, and 55% growth rate in DEF. I am playing Conquest right now and only being on Chapter 23, Effie already has 38 Def and around 35 Str being a Level 13 General. She's a tank! But over time she does slowly gain Spd and Res, but not as much as Str and Def.

@SpearOfLies Just to discuss, why do you think Xander is A+ and Effie is A?

@DoesntKnowHowToPlay That's actually a great idea! I forgot to mention that. But this tier list won't be including items and weapons (personal weapons are an exception like Ryoma's, Takumi's, Xander's, Leo's, etc.) I just assumed that people wouldn't consider stat boosters and weapons. I agree that weapons don't add that much to a unit's performance. @Extrasolar were you the person that voted already or was that someone else?
