Cleared the quests in a few minutes...thank god I have FGO to occupy me. Only one extra copy of Ursula is quite sad.

I quite dislike it. Mostly beards though. Beards are gross. If you're old(er) I guess it can fit.

Speaking of no content, I actually feel somewhat baffled by how they left the game for today. No arena, gauntlet isn't until Friday, 1.5x exp event means less SP which for most people is bad, no new quests. Unless you've been slacking off or can't do some of those tower quests there isn't really anything to do but grind SP in the tower, which kind of sucks since double SP event is over. Unless you aren't an avid player, and have quite a bit left to do, in which case I envy you because I'd like something to do myself.

Robin will be my pick if Merric loses...but he won't, believe me. Totally.

Eliwood and Lilina seem to hate me. Lilina I can accept, but I'm just baffled with not having Eliwood yet, he's even available at 3*. And red orbs are the ones I roll most. Reminds me of how it took 6 months to roll Medusa in FGO, a 3* in that game. But FGO's gacha is also cluttered with items called Craft Essences. It can be quite painful.

I wouldn't say that. As you said, they introduce a focus with 4 characters from a set of games. The case with Ephraim and Eirika being added seems more like they were already planned for a themed focus, Sibling Bonds and whatnot. Remember Sanaki? Same went for all the Jugdral characters currently in. They'll probably release Jugdral/Magvel-centric focuses with a story chapter eventually. The only odd thing is Shadows of Valentia getting a paralogue instead of a story chapter...and wouldn't these story chapter/continent introductions be better if they also came with a batch of 3*s/4*s that could also participate in the chapters? It's all very confusing and hard to predict what they're planning on doing with the game.

Only upcoming character I want right now is Tharja so I can give Sophia Raudrblade+.

I probably got the wrong idea from the thread, but there are many reasons for caring about IVs that I'm sure you can come up with yourself. No, they are not the end all be all or whatever to what units are useful are not. There's a certain pleasure in using neutral units because I don't have to worry about it, my 5* Cecilia and Sophia were neutral 2*s. But getting a -ATK or -SPD 5* is very disheartening. At launch I had a 4* Roy that was -SPD, no I was not going to use him, I fed him to Cecilia later and I decided to wait until I got a better one, which I did a few weeks ago. +SPD, and I will definitely be 5*ing him soon. Why exactly is being picky bad?

If you don't care about it, you don't care about it. The system wasn't put in place for you.

I mean, I think nothing of someone simply saying they don't care about this stuff, that's OK. But I see these "why do you care so much???" comments everywhere when it comes to more competitive games, if you can even call FEH that anyway. Some people just want the best and like trying their best. I want my favourite characters to be at their best. That's all.

And technically first spriting attempt in general. As you can see, it looks almost nothing like Asvel. The current colours for his hair are from his Thracia sprite, I intend to tweak that a bit but the hair is a mess and I'm not sure if that base is going to be easy to work with. I tried to make his hair poofy-ish? Though it didn't exactly turn out that way. Tried to make a smile but it's more like a smirk. I guess I'm just asking for some advice, criticism, if someone wouldn't mind. I need direction.

I believe I'm nearing $200, which isn't much to me but I don't think it's good to spend that on a single game, and this game has made me break a few personal rules regarding mobile games. At first I justified it with the idea that I'll play the game a lot (and I do), so I didn't mind dropping $26 on Eldigan's focus, I thought I was done. I wasn't. I think the worst was spending $50 on Alm's and getting nothing. Told myself I wouldn't do it again, then Hero Fest comes by and $26 gets me Azura, two Ryomas and Takumi. Which, ironically, killed my desire to whale.

Yes, it allows her to one-round every Nino and Julia I come across, but it wouldn't be possible without Moonbow as well. This is a neutral Cecilia, though, so a +ATK could perform even better. I should mention that I often have Spring Xander with Hone Cavalry paired up with her, since he can shield her from swords and some other offensive threats. It's kind of unnecessary though because Moonbow takes care of anything regardless of whether or not she's buffed.
