Agreed. Even though I haven't played the games myself, I've seen a lot of YouTube videos about Genealogy + Thracia. The games look very interesting, and even though they might be outdated by now, a remake would fix this. Good features to include: the danger areas, updated battle stats system (so you have to do less math in your head and spend more time playing), and the new support system.

I'm a rather new Fire Emblem fan, as in I started to fall in love with this series when I picked up Awakening last year, but I started playing it, my first being Shadow Dragon, when I was 10 (thank you SSBB!). I'm not that smart, and I'm pretty terrible at the games (you can call me a filthy casual in Awakening if you want), but I still love these games. I guess I'll be seeing people around here I guess?

I don't have very many since I haven't spent money on the game. I have Azura, Effie, Spring Xander, Eirika, and Sophia as 5-stars. I also got these through summons alone, without unlocking potential.

Shadow Dragon was my first Fire Emblem game, believe it or not. It didn't leave too much of an impact on me, since I was 10 when I got my hands on it and I didn't know how to play Fire Emblem then. Like my title says. I'm a moron. However, the soundtrack, especially the enemy attacking theme, is so good it's stayed in my head since I played it.

She starts at swordmaster. And I SO want Rath in heroes. Please Nintendo.

Which sucks because I hate Colm but realize we'll have to use him eventually. >:( But the good news is: we can get enemy knife users too. Like Jerme. If you can get Ursula in the game, you can get Jerme. And Kenneth, too while we're at it.

I don't know much of the characters except from FE7, Sacred Stones, Awakening, and Conquest. So I'll just limit most of my knowledge to the ones I have played. I also don't know every character in Heroes so if they are in the game I'm sorry. FE7: Heath, Geitz, and Farina FE8: Moulder, Natasha, and Colm (I really freaking hope he doesn't get added.) Awakening: Laurent, Nah, and that's about it. And maybe that one knight... what... what was his name? Fates: Pffft. Freaking everyone will probably get added, unless they already are.
