Yeah, but what would Olwen's support with Julius and/or Ishtar look like?
Julius and virtually anyone (Olwen included): Julius bragging about how he's Loptyr or (on a good day, reminiscing on the days when he was still sane); everyone else chewing him out or trying to exorcise him (especially the clerics)
Ishtar and Olwen:
C: Picture a scenario where recriminations/insults/sad memories are the ammo of this gun, and that there are two of these things firing back and forth.
B - A: The division heals somewhat, but not too much.
S: Mirabile dictu, the two thunder mages become close friends (or something more)!

Yes ... and no.
Have I any chance to survive make my time?
By the way, you seem to have missed one R in J.R.R. Tolkien. -
Because 1 + 1 = 3 - 1.
What's all this stuff I hear about "Childish Gambino" or whatever?

I don't believe there's ever been any reliable evidence to suggest the death penalty has ever been a deterrent on any kind of crime.
Nor do I. For that reason, along with the reasoning someone else said (why shed even more blood?), I oppose it in theory.*
*In practice, on the other hand, I find myself screaming for blood when I hear of this kind of incidents. -
Ask not who, but what.
What is the use of string theory?

We really are whiners, aren't we?

To the original question: No. The current developers are the best ones for the job, their flaws aside.

Wait, what? When was this confirmed?

The way I see it, it's lack of/indifference to education as well as the tendency of society to encourage indifference towards established norms with one hand while punishing said indifference with another.
Why is society so hypocritical sometimes?

Playable generic units. We should have them! (and not just in DLC)
It would be nice to just have some throw away units that the game would give you in some cases such as fog wars for baiting/rushing or GTFO chapters for rushing/stalling. How they would be handled when the chapter ends is something I'm not too sure about, but playable generic units could be pretty sweet to have on some chapters here and there.
That could work. Or we could give some particularly famous generic units, such as Mr. 3-13, actual personalities.

No, I would not.
What is the avatar of the poster above you saying?

Yes. Also televisions watch you and newspapers read you.
Am I on Serenes Forest or am I on Serenes Forest?

You answered your own question; look at the first clause of the sentence.

They would replace "open-minded" with "Commie", "liberal", etc.

A) Ishtar is romantically involved with Julius; Reinhardt is sent away (effectively to his death, though it takes a while) on Julius' initiative. There's one potential strike.
B) Ishtar is romantically involved with Julius, who is possessed by Loptyr; Olwen defects from the army of Friege (to which Ishtar is the heir as Duchess-presumptive of Friege) because of the atrocities she beheld, which she knew were done at Ishtar's possessed lover's behest. There's another potential strike.
C) Note that at the beginning Olwen is like Lachesis, obsessed over her brother to the point of wanting to marry a man like him; but in the ending credits, Olwen's epilogue says that she denounced her brother as "pathetic" and married someone who was rather average (presumably Fred). Therefore, assuming Olwen is summoned from her homeworld after the death of Raydrik, the Reinhardt connection is (or is rapidly becoming) a thing of the past.
D) No indication is given as to Ishtar and Olwen's relationship because they do not interact in Thracia 776, period. Before Olwen defects she interacts with Largo, Kempf, some children, and Fred; Ishtar only interacts with Julius, Manfroy, Reinhardt, her lord father, and Travant.
As such, though my statement may be exaggerated (especially with the Warhammer 40K gun analogy), I do not think it is too much of a stretch.
I theorize that in such a situation most of the recriminations come from Olwen, who will probably be enraged by the fact that Ishtar doesn't do too much about the Loptyrian atrocities or try to stop Julius or her father from causing as much as they do.
(Have a look at my edited statement and see what you think.)
Everyone else: if what I'm saying isn't accurate, please don't kill me!
As for my own support ideas: Hector/Eirika - bonding over their brothers, possibly
Any older brother (viz. Xander, Ike, Chrom, Ephraim) bonding with another older brother character over their younger siblings' quirks.
Ryoma/Say'ri (if Say'ri ever gets in that is) - they'd probably have a lot of fun exploring each other's cultures and ways of life.
