if a problem cannot be solved by firefox or chrome, its a problem not worth solving
lmao, I will keep that in mind :D

I use IE when other browsers fail me in something. Surprisingly, that still happens sometimes...

Lucina not pictured.

I tend to use thieves for thieving only. Even if someone of them promote to respectable assassins or such.

Sell to Team Rocket for huge bucks.

...he will smash industries operated by capitalistic crocodiles.
If you give yourself a break...

Are you going to use Colm for more than thieving? Just curious. I usually do not use thieves for more than that but in this game Colm is pretty decent actually when promoted. Matter of taste, I guess. I later dump him for Rennac.
My problem with thieves in games where they can promote is that you often have to create artificial strategies to give them EXP and I would rather not risk it or give the EXP to an actual combat unit.

Ya. You have to support her with Wallace to get a bit more out of this. She still feels anger and wants revenge above all else but... it has nothing to do with anything other than her support with Wallace and Kent, I think. Shame.

I always snicker at this particular nickname. Was he a stripper before becoming a general??

He should run around proudly waving and clutching his Falchion so...

Matthis/10, a guy capable of suiciding even if you plan everything right. Not named Abel, not named Cain. He is not totally terrible though. Just an useless extra in my opinion.

no universal enemy range at the touch of an X button
This one I constantly keep realizing when playing older games. Same with tagging enemy units whose range you want to be displayed.
I started with the GBA games so the rest does not bother me but that one above? Yeah :D

Good god, guys. You waste your time on this crap? Porn cartoons from Japan?
I guess some of it is good but nothing solid came out since the 70-80s. Only your usual high school waifu animu little sister trash that only proves the whole business is tailored towards basement dwelling degenerates. Go hug your pillow or something and leave the rest of the world alone.
Say what you want about Miyazaki but he was right. His movies are at least worth watching or re-warching in this sea of generic MC-kun with his harem of generic designs and big boobs. Sex sells, I guess, but now it is all anime has left when we take the usual modern demographic in consideration.
Seriously, go wear your Naruto headbands.

You keep saying Erika instead of Eirika :D

Heh. I guess in your usual FE world with hundreds of years of peace after some previous calamity, despite having armies at the ready, the overall security if pretty lax. Scratch that! It seems to me the bandits always decide to attack when something is about to go down in the world :D

I wonder if we'll meet this mysterious man in our adventures... (I'm actually curious. Do we ever find this man?)
My guess is also either Joshua or Gerik. Maybe it is Renault paying a visit :O

I once made the same screencap but with a fighter attacking a knight. Friend called it "can opener attack animation". You grab the fighter and start turning.

Yup :D
The person below me will have a legit location listed.

She has her own game called The Ostian Princess.
...oh wait

Ah, good old Garzey's Wing. Good luck with it!
In that case, you might want to check out M.D. Geist as well although... It is true it is what it is.

Granted, but all rules revert back to Gen 1.
I wish for a dish.

Iirc this game also has the weakest enemies in the entire series. But what makes it difficult is the map design and different mechanics.
And speaking of mechanics, does Fatigue help in balancing the game or something?
Not the way it was probably intended and not really, in my opinion.
Leif is immune but that is obvious. Still, that is one immune unit you can use somewhere. Benching your core unit for one chapter is no big deal and later you can potentially get enough S-drinks for people you super want. Also, units with good HP stay with good HP so they will be usually always viable. I think Fatigue in FE5 only really works in the first chapters and then there are enough ways to go around it.
Maybe someone else has a better input though...

Some crap called Diatron 5.

Banned for still having no badass replacement pic. And ya, anything badass is fine!

Mm-hm! Any similar line, really. I wonder if that sort of thing ever worked, haha.
You know it is there to make the villain sound all powerful and everything but then... this always happens. I recall quite a few "Bwahaha! I have unlimited power now!" villains only to be defeated ten minutes later. I also remember Palpatine saying he is sending the best of the best Imperial troops on Endor to their doom against bad forest navigation skills and teddy bears.
I am no story teller but maybe sometimes it is better to just avoid such lines altogether unless you have a good reason. Show the power in an actual way. Which did not happen here since Walhart got cornered while his MILLION MEN army was probably watching Super Bowl finals.
I know, I know. We are talking classic tropes and a Fire Emblem plot on top of that. I guess I processed it as yet another usual scenario but your analysis is still funny!

I chuckled. People often say gameplay =/= reality but I think sometimes you should just go with reality. More so when it is about flashing out the conflict. I guess this is not really something people think about AT ALL so good of you to do otherwise :D
I agree with Gustavos and I think at least Thracia and Geneology make it sound like there are hundreds of soldiers fighting in reality per unit where applicable. Otherwise (like during a temple/prison/similar mission, you really just have a group of guys against maybe 20 guards). Or against brigands.
During one mission in FE5 there are civilians evacuating and going through a pass. The game explicitly says there are 600 or 700 of them traveling in convoys. The mission has 6 or 7 villager NPCs so let's say one person represents those 100 people. The pass had to be pretty cluttered considering two whole armies were also duking it out there. I do not even know how capturing civilians works there...
As for Awakening, I always thought Wal
mhart went down too easily considering exactly that. The size of his supposed forces all across the continent. Even when parts of his army gave up (if I correctly recall the story). -
x = x0 + s1t
y = y0 + s2t
Straight. Effing. Line.
BETTER!!?

y = kx + b
How many units should I use in my FE7 playthrough ?
in Fire Emblem

I would not sweat it too much. Maybe 10-12 core units you really like. There are obviously better and worse units but I would recommend going with who you like and who works for you personally. The game has enough room for most people unless they come really late but that is nothing new.
I would pick Kent instead of Sain but I guess that is the unpopular opinion, haha. Sain is a powerhouse but I always found Kent to be more reliable. Then again, it really depends on numbers as usual.
