  1. The bad parts of any fanbase are always the most vocal.
  2. That's Ubisoft. EA just presents sports games with more detail than needed and promises there won't be loot boxes/microtransactions/they've learned from their mistakes.
  3. I remember her. Still not the most awkward thing I've witnessed at E3. I think all of Ubisoft takes that honor.
  4. I feel like "Awakening saved the series" has kind of become an easy fall back point for people who love the game when defending it. For the record, I'm not trying to say if Awakening is a good or bad game, but saying it's good because it "saved the series" is basically saying a game that sells well is automatically good. Nintendo has three days of the Treehouse demos, so Fire Emblem could get a quick trailer during the Direct and have a demo showcase later on.
  5. The lack of a weapon triangle made sense considering the lack of axe users and the game was built around the smaller number of classes, so I won't blame the remake for not editing those. That said, I'll agree that not having every map being a giant square would've been nice and the Soldier line looses viability in Act 3 and are basically useless Act 4 onwards. At least I feel that the remaining games to be remade are more structurally solid.
  6. I don't play Mystery Dungeon games, but that sounds fine on paper.
  7. I never heard of that one. It sounds neat, kind of a call back to Genealogy. I'd be interested to find the leak if it still exists.
  8. I don't think Fire Emblem has enough popularity to get spin-off game to fill time before a main release like Pokemon. The only spin-offs we have are TMS, Heroes, and Warriors; all three of those came to be fairly recently when looking at the series history. The way I see it, the only situation where FE Switch is delayed to late 2019 and we get a game before then is another Echoes remake, which would still be a main game (especially if it isn't a localized game). I want to stress late 2019, because the game is slated for 2018 and considering the time left, a release in early 2019 isn't out of the question.
  9. The only thing that I lik was the name "Elegy of the Brave". I prefer to have a multi-word title over a single word title. Playing Castlevania makes me not against Vampire Emblem, but I wouldn't want to see it right now with the exact direction of the franchise unclear. Plus there a lot of the aspects about it that did not sound good. Pirate Emblem didn't have much to it and I can't imagine being very interesting. Memories is a boring title. Reawakening is odd. Most ports are of Wii U game that may not have sold well due to the console. Awakening was a 3DS game that sold very well (nobody will let you forget that fact) and isn't a rare game; devoting resources to a port feels unnecessary. If it's more of a remake, then I'll be upset that a 3DS got a remake when we have three SNES games and a GBA game that still need to be localized. That's not even considering a Tellius port, since those games are much rarer than Awakening.
  10. I don't see how this makes Reawakening more likely. Let's Go was already confirmed before we got the chart and having it at E3 isn't surprising.
  11. Considering that a lengthy game with a lot of text and cutscenes like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 managed to get a worldwide release, I won't rule out Fire Emblem Switch getting one until we know more.
  12. Nintendo is the one conference I'm investmented in, but I love watching all of the conferences just for the fun of it (especially with Tweets from people I follow). As for my hopes/expectations: EA-I'll probably be bored within minutes and look at Twitter more than anything else. Microsoft-Could go either way. Their conference last year had a boring first half, but a good second half and that made it worth watching, even if I don't have an Xbox One. Bethesda-I'd like see Doom 2, but I'm expecting Skyrim to be announced for my toaster with the amount of ports the game has. So long as they learn from last year it'll be fun to watch. Square Enix-No specific hopes, but I am looking forward to it. I'm curious to see if they bring any of the hard hitters (you know the ones). Ubisoft-Can be fun for the wrong reasons, but it'll probably be another EA conference. Sony-Much like Bethesda, they need to avoid the pitfalls of last year. Regardless, I don't expect to hate it no matter what happens. Nintendo-Last conference is the one I care about the most. The first thing will always be FIre Emblem, either a new game or a remake of a Japan-only game. Beyond that, Smash Bros. Octo Expansion, Octopath Traveler, and Metroid Prime are things I want to see. Beyond that, I'm happy with whatever other games or surprises they throw in.
  13. Everyone, I've found leaked artwork of Fire Emblem: Reawakening.
  14. As E3 gets closer, I would just like to remind everyone of an important fact.
  15. Was there a rumor or reason to expect something on May 31st that I missed? I don't remember hearing anything.
  16. We've gotten confirmation that wild battles are entirely gone. Also, I want to point out that while Let's Go was apart of the E3 "leak" with Memories, the confirmation of one leak doesn't mean the confirmation of every leak. Whoever made the list could've just added Let's Go because the rumors were circulating at the time.
  17. A new FE 3 remake (preferably without an avatar), an FE 4 remake, 5 remake, or 6 remake would be a fine substitute for me if FE 16 has to be delayed. As much as I want to see what's next for the series, I also believe that every game needs to be available internationally in some form. Either way I'd be happy.
  18. I only saw Valkyrie Chronicles 4. I'm asking about the Switch port of Valkyrie Chronicles 1 that's been announced for Japan.
  19. I'd love to see Hidari tackle come back for FE 16. After the Echoes designs, it's be a shame to him go so soon.
  20. Echoes was only a month between the Japanese release and the Western release. That and the fact the Xenoblade 2 managed to be released on the same day worldwide makes a 2018 release not impossible to me.
  21. Is there any word on the Switch version of the first game? I've wanted to try it out for a while and I heard that the first game was getting a Switch release in Japan, but there wasn't any word on an English release.
  22. I don't remember how many there were in total, but I've got three Echoes desktop backgrounds that I downloaded from My Nintendo. It's a good thing I was so picky about which one I wanted to set up on my computer.
  23. Echoes wasn't delayed after it was announced, but they originally wanted the game to come out in September 2016.
  24. I'm surprised we hit 100 pages before we entered June.
