  1. Well, back to waiting game. One day... I don't think he's doing it intentionally, but I'll be taking his claims with more doubts from here on out.
  2. No classes today, I'm making sure I catch the entire thing.
  3. Serenes Forest would be engulfed in the riots of upset fans.
  4. Of all the supposed titles we've seen, Elegy of the Brave is easily the best one.
  5. I'm half expecting whatever gets announced to be completely out of left field, something that doesn't match up with our expectation or the leaks we've been following.
  6. Woke up five minutes ago, this was a good thing to wake up to. Let's hope our patience will be rewarded.
  7. I'd go with Conquest. You could do it with the Birthright path too, but I think the idea of a morally good person doing evil things for the sake of the end goal is a strong premise. To address the problems, I don't understand why Garon was so adamant on making Corrin suffer after he decided to side with Nohr. Iago I can understand and having him be antagonistic with Hans can showoff the different sides of Nohr in comparison to Corrin and the Nohrian siblings. The plot point regarding Garon being taken over and Azura revealing it to Corrin also needs some major revisions; why does Azura decide to use the one-time crystal ball in front of Corrin and not all the royal siblings, avoiding the need to conquer Hoshido? Why don't Corrin and Azura simply bring them to Valla? Why don't they write down that Garon is corrupted to bypass the curse? I very much like the idea of Conquest, but the execution needed to be better in a few places. Though I'll give credit where credit is due, I do think that chapters on the Hoshido siblings was nicely handled. To fix the problem of the reveal, it's either a case of creating more airtight rules to avoid the obvious problems that currently exist. or come up with a different execution to get the same point across. As for Garon, I would've made him less blatantly evil and more like a ruler who's strict; him needing to put a front to hide the corruption could make him appear neutral in comparison to Corrin and the siblings or Iago and Hans (and remove the plot point about him wanting to make Corrin suffer, I don't recall that ever going anywhere).
  8. I'm going to assume fake just because of the financial earnings report setting it for 2018, though I could see a 2019 delay happening. I'm very curious about the possible GBA games on 3DS, including the ambassador games. If this is true, then Blazing Blade and Sacred Stones could be on 3DS and that terrifies me because if it happens I will buy both of those games again.
  9. If not this week then maybe next week. Either way, I'm hoping for anything.
  10. I'll second this; if you want to break the Mani Katti by chapter 30 (if it breaks to begin with), you need to overuse it.
  11. That does bring up an interesting question; why was there a gap in localization for FEW? I can't expect a Warriors game to be very hard to localize when Xenoblade Chronicles 2 can manage to get a simultaneous release.
  12. Guilty Gear has had issues with story presentation in early games (The Missing Link was rather simple, X lacked proper endings, and XX had multiple stories with no clear "right" path, then the Accent Core version of XX had new stories that were sequels to original XX stories), but Overture and Xrd turned things around. Overture wasn't a fighting game so it didn't have to worry about dealing with multiple perspectives and Xrd simplified things by making the Arcade mode for each character a prequel to their actions in the main story mode, plus the Library mode cleared up story details that were unclear in XX. Considering the amount of time that was put into the story of the Xrd games alone, I can believe their reasoning here.
  13. I'm still down with the idea of a Gothic Horror setting, even if the details of the "leak" weren't terribly believable or interesting. I can't wait for the Fire Emblem Cinematic Universe (FECU).
  14. I wouldn't mind seeing one or two of those three made as a special addition to the roster. If the game is going to get any "guest" fighters beyond the main four, I'm hoping for it to be in pairs so we could have a duo of characters to be paired up. Beyond Persona 5 characters, I'm hoping for Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske as a tag team pair (I know they've said they're not going to put Guilty Gear characters in since that series is still going story-wise, but I can hope for these two.).
  15. On the topic of returning VAs, David Vincet (Jin) and Cristina Vee (Noel and Nu) have both confirmed to be coming back. Additionally, it was stated on the Arc Live Stream today that the previous casts for BlazBlue and Persona 4 would be coming back, though whether that confirms every previous VA to be returning or not isn't 100% clear.
  16. I'm gonna remain optimistic and say that FE Switch will get a world-wide release day. If Xenoblade 2 can do it, I think Fire Emblem can.
  17. It's probably only a matter of time. I'm especially hopeful for Tsubaki, she's one of my favorites to play in CS Extend. I was so happy when I saw this tweet. I didn't have a reason to believe Patrick Seitz wouldn't come back, but having confirmation is still nice. I've always loved his performance as Ragna.
  18. It's not very far along to my knowledge, though I don't know for certain as I'm not an actual developer of the hack.
  19. I just love how Kanji is walking into a fight against a girl with a scythe that's also a sniper rifle with a folding chair as his main weapon. Orie reminds me of a Melty Blood character, but I can't remember who.
  20. While it's a bit above normal retail price, I'll be picking this up. I'm not bothered by several characters being DLC when the total cost is only $10 dollars more than the $60 standard of console games and all things considered, paying $20 dollars up front for 18 characters when other fighting games charge the same price for their season pass with less than half of the amount of characters doesn't sound like a bad thing. Though I do think some of the backlash Arc System Works received was fair; announcing DLC plans without presenting clear prices wasn't a smart decision on their part, but I can't say I'm terribly disappointed the final result even if the ride getting here was a bit bumpy. Above all, I love Arc System Works and their fighting games; I'll gladly support the company.
  21. I was hopeful we would see FE Switch before that point, but if it hasn't happened yet, then I don't see it happening until March. At the very least the Switch anniversary is very early in March.
  22. Is there a third path where humans and vampires unite to fight the true villain, a group of pirates led by Shanty Pete?
  23. I'd say he's the most reliable source of info we've seen on this thread.
