  1. I love his FE6 supports but I'm not a fan of his lame character in FE7. Gameplay-wise, I pretty much go Route A every time (Unless I specifically am planning to use Bartre). I prefer Route A Maps + Echidna over Route B Maps + Bartre. In FE7, his base speed really holds him back, and Dorcas, while also not being that great, is better due to much higher base speed (but still fairly low and won't improve much). Compared to Geitz, idk, since Geitz is annoying to get tbh, especially in efficiency. 

  2. Seems like there's not one going at the moment so I'd figure I'd start one.

     

    Rules:

    1. This draft is for 7 players.
    2. Ike, Micaiah, Sothe, Geoffrey, the Herons, the Black Knight, and Lehran are free for all to use.
    3. The drafting order is reversed for the last round of picks.
    4. Haar is banned from drafting.
    5. The game will be played on Normal Mode.

    Rules:
    1. Undrafted units may recruit characters, Rescue and Shove/Smite undrafted characters and NPCs, trade, Escape/Arrive, and transfer items/skills between teams.
    2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to meatshielding, building Supports, opening Doors and Chests, finding hidden items, and giving Blood Tide/Night Tide/White Pool bonuses.
    3. Allied and Other units may do as they please without penalty.
    4. Defend chapters count the last played Player Phase for turns if the timer is waited out.

    Penalties:
    1. Undrafted units have a 4 turn penalty, per unit per chapter (1-6 counts as 2 chapters, and 4-E counts as 5 chapters).

    Exceptions:
    1. One of Edward or Nolan is free for each of 1-P, 1-1 and 1-2.
    2. Volug is free for 1-5.
    3. Elincia, Marcia and Nealuchi are free for 2-P
    4. Nephenee and Brom are free for 2-1.
    5. One undrafted, non-Lucia unit is free for 2-2.
    6. One undrafted, 7 move unit is free for 3-1.
    7. One undrafted, 6 move unit is free for 3-3.

  3. FE6: Going to go with Cecilia since it's a toss up and they're about the same but Cecilia has Anima rank unlike Clarine and also doesn't eat a Guiding Ring. I'd say use Clarine up until Cecilia and then bench her?

    FE7: Sain if Lyn Mode is being done, because he has the choice to use Wallace's Knight's Crest to promote into a Paladin, effectively becoming a second Marcus. Lowen is better if no Lyn Mode is done because availability and Lowen will usually be better than Kent/Sain in their join chapter.

    FE8: Moulder, I guess, slight chapter lead and he will have a level lead. Natasha can get Valkyrie which is nice I guess but Moulder's earlier join time makes him a bit better.

    Bonus: Artur is better because he starts out better and can promote to Bishop

  4. Maniac is pretty interesting as an idea, but playing it is a slog. TItania is pretty much mandatory in the early chapters and is a great asset, but she does fall off a little bit at endgame (which isn't too big of an issue, she'll still be in top 5, just not god status anymore). A good strategy for it is to pick like two unpromoted cavaliers/fliers (most likely two of Oscar/Marcia/Jill?) and invest all your resources into them, essentially making a "super unit" to take on the large groups of enemies. Also, I didn't have an issue with the bulk of enemies, but the amount of enemies on the maps was what made me dislike the mode. And there's also some other annoying changes, such as removing Chest Keys, or adding more siege tomes, which don't add much difficulty really, the changes are just there to piss the player off, hence "Maniac" difficulty.

  5. Ocean Seal is worth 50,000 gold and there is only one in the game (excluding the secret shop). Even then, his bases are nothing special either, and he also doesn't have a mount unlike Marcus/Lowen/Sain/Florina etc etc who will be doing a portion of the fighting. His crappy con for an axe user bites that low base speed even more.
