I really hate the fact that i made the mistake of buying the first gen 7 game. It was the first and last time that i buy the first pokemon game in a gen. Honestly, I feel like so much is added in the second version that the first version isn't even worth the price.

I want to surf on a mantine and ride wormholes on solgaleo :V

What if they do something like Black 2 and White 2 again?

That's crazy! Diamond and Pearl were also our first Pokemon games and the point where the tradition began. It's like we're the same person divided into different bodies.

Really?! What a coincidence! Anyway Serebii confirmed that through the ultra worm holes, you can encounter various Legendary Pokémon, namely Mewtwo currently. They probably did this because the VGC 18 rules allows the national dex, but the Pokémon must have the clover.

I'm kind of conflicted as to whether I should get UltraSun or UltraMoon. Traditionally I have gotten the second game in the pair while my brother got the first. In the case of Sun and Moon I got Moon. Right now I'm leaning towards getting UltraMoon because I want to continue the tradition(even though my brother sadly does not play Pokemon anymore).  On the other hand getting the "Moon" game twice in a row would be kind of boring.

I'm not too concerned with not getting Solgaleo as thankfully the game gives you multiple Lunalas so you can trade off one for a Solgaleo.

To be honest, the only reason I have for getting  UltraSun is trivial so I'm most likely going to just my tradition and get Pokemon UltraMoon.

HaHa! Me too when I started playing Pokémon, my brother chose Diamond and I chose Pearl. Even though he doesn’t play Pokémon anymore, I choose the 2 nd version out of habit.

  5. If your aiming for a team to exceed 50+, you want to switch up the teams every 10 battles. The facility will adjust their leads to counter yours, and it will lead you to your demise.

    Here's  team I used to reach 50:

    Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
    Ability: Lightning Rod
    Level: 50
    Shiny: Yes
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Leaf Storm
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Energy Ball
    - Protect

    Tapu Koko @ Life Orb
    Ability: Electric Surge
    Level: 50
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Discharge
    - Dazzling Gleam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Protect

    Gyarados @ Waterium Z
    Ability: Intimidate
    Level: 50
    EVs: 148 HP / 148 Atk / 4 Def / 148 SpD / 60 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Dragon Dance
    - Waterfall
    - Ice Fang
    - Protect

    Heatran @ Shuca Berry
    Ability: Flash Fire
    Level: 50
    EVs: 20 HP / 252 SpA / 204 Spe
    Modest Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Heat Wave
    - Flash Cannon
    - Earth Power
    - Protect

Its a basic Discharge Lightning Rod combo, with a Water-Fire-Grass core to back it up. My only complaint is that due to new mega evolution mechanics,  Sceptile-Mega has to wait a turn for the buffs from lightning rod.

I was on team Ninian and I'm pretty sure I got my victory feathers.

Then again, I scrolled past the gauntlet screen and wasn't paying attention.

But then again, I'm pretty sure my current feather count matches earlier feathers+ranking+victory

I was on Team M! Corrin and got feathers too, and I think it said army 2? Not sure because I ended the message right away.

The Rotom-Dex was pretty boring in my opinion, beyond a few quotes that... stuck out, to say the least.

    big boy intensifies

At any rate, I certainly can't dismiss getting some random items from it, and so long as they scale up the difficulty of trainers to match it, I don't really mind 2 Z-Moves per battle either.

challenge mode come home a better person pls i miss you

If challenge mode does return, make it choosable at the beginning. It was so sad in White 2 where I could never get it....

  8. Team M!Corrin has caught up fast. Maybe if we play our cards right, we can win! I want a Corrin showdown. I know a lot of people hate the multiplier, but consider the multiplier a way of strategy: You don't want to go too up ahead, or you'll open up a window of opportunity for the Opponent. For example, Ninian had a landslide opening, but this allowed Male Corrin to open up with heavy modifiers ( Seriously, like one every hour. ) Instead of wasting your flags at the right time save it for the modifiers, right?

I still hate the multiplier mechanics for it's sheer arbitrary nature. I still think the scores should be based on something like the arena, where performance matters, and the sheer number of the fans doesn't. I'm still glad that Tiki won, but it feels cheap. The gauntlet just doesn't even make sense anymore, with its arbitrary multiplier. And I still really don't want any Corrin to win, and will put aside my hate for the multiplier if it helps defeat them. Sorry Corrin fans.

But if there were no multipliers, there would be no reason to have the gauntlet, you could just check the Choose your legends gauntlet for the results.

  10. Serebii has revealed new info. First of all, both forms of Necrozma will keep Prism Armor for the ability. Second, there are new z-moves for Solgaleo, Lunala, and both forms of Necrozma: Sunshine Smsher and Moonlight Blaster, which are upgraded forms of Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam.

As for the Rotom-Dex, there's a new mechanic called Rotom-Z power, by having a 'good' relationship with Rotom, you can use multiple z-moves per battle. ( It's probably a single player thing, as something like that too OP in multiplayer. ) In addition, the dex has expanded and you can ask questions and it can even give it items should it like you more.

ヒッポグリフナイト (Hippogriff Knight), a Kibaire version of the Pegasus Knight who uses bows (I'm not sure if it's female-exclusive, but the default is female), a Kibaire version of the Cavalier called the ダークライダー (Dark Rider) that can use swords and axes, the マーマン (Merman) that's essentially the pirate from the older games, the ファントム (Phantom) which is an anima mage for the Kibaires and the Kibaire variant of the Cleric: the ヴェスタル (Vestal)"

Sounds pretty standard overall. I'm hoping each class is more than just an opposite for the other side and have differences (which some seem to so far).

"You all know supports were back, but we now know that marriage is returning (but not children)."

We did? When did I miss this that confirmation? As for the rest, I'm okay with marriage returning, but only if their written better than Fates. Children being gone also makes me very happy.

"FE Switch will be getting wireless multiplayer in the form of 3 modes: V.S., Double Duel and Arena. V.S. is self-explanatory, Double Duel returns from Awakening, and Arena is a 4-Player Free-for-all returning from the GBA's era."

I've never been one for the multiplayer of Fire Emblem, so I'm indifferent. Though Double Duel returning from Awakening is...surprising. Maybe it's just me, but Double Duel felt too short and simple to play with my friends (though, that could just be me).

Also, I'm starting to agree with some people's concerns that we're getting a lot of info very quickly. I'm still just as skeptical as I was when we only had one post to work off of, only now I'm more intrigued in the concept.

If this is indeed a split path game like fates where classes are split on route, I'd be surprised if they were gender locked. The main reason why all classes were made co-ed in fates was because of the new class sharing mechanics and the fact that not all classes were readily avalible in fates depending on which route you chose. The reason why Pegasus Knights, Troubadours, Fighters, and Barbarians are gender locked are allusions to mythology such as unicorns and actual Valkyries, while Fighters and Barbarians are based off the stereotypes of men who are only rough enough for fights. The point here is that they only make classes gender-locked if there's a trend going on. As for a hippogriff mounted class, it should be neutral, since Hippogriffs show no preference for genders in mythology. In fact, the main reason why Hippogriffs are remembered in popular culture is because of the role in 3rd Harry Potter book, in which Harry rides one.

Honestly, at first I was Team Hopeful, but as we get more information I'm becoming more skeptical. Everything sounds interesting and cool, don't get me wrong, but everything also seems way too good to be true and more like a fire emblem fan's dream of what a game should look like.

I agree. This is the sad things about rumors though, they " become facts. " This sounds nice, but the fact people are getting new info regularly is too good to be true.

These two trailers are pretty damn appealing, though the Ultra Recon squad seems a tad too silly to me. I would've guessed they were post-game content, but seeing how they recreated the Sun & Moon intro with them, maybe they'll be along for the ride right from the get-go. There are four of them and three new Ultra Beasts confirmed so far, so I reckon we'll see one more Ultra Beast before long.

Still, this story looks very promising, and going to the Ultra Beasts' worlds and catching them there will be a vast improvement to how it was last time. This was pretty much my biggest wish for the games, so I'm very happy right now.

I can't believe they spoiled the Ultra Beast typings though; that's what I like to figure out on my own the most. So unnecessary. Also, Assembly is Rock/Steel? It's sad to know I'll never use him.

Considering that one of UBs gimmicks are prime numbers, we would need 11. Taking in factor that there are 2 varieties for every even numbers that would be 9 more, which isn't a prime number...

    New trailer guys!

Okay, now I'm really curious, are those new characters allies?

And it seems that they will show that scene where Guzzlord kills that female Interpol Agent.

Judging from the outfits, that floating structure, and the background which is most likely ultraspace; I'd imagine they are either Aether Foundation employees. As for the floating structure it appears to powered-up by ultra beasts, as I saw Xurkitree charging it, while Necrozma appears to be charging the center. But this is what intrigues me: The background is Ultra Space. https://serebii.net According to Serbii, one of the employees is Zionira, who talks about Necrozma's affect on Alola. So I'm thinking, perhaps those people are from Ultra Space. I know its sounds crazy, but that infrastructure floating in Ultraspace didn't get there itself; but again, they are probably like Aether Foundation employees. As for the foundation, it appears that Necrozma appears to be the primary focus, since I'm Lusamine could be grasping on to it. As for Lunala and Solgaleo, there appears to be a new mini game from travelling to Ultraspace, judging from the perspective and the yellow rings. I like how there expanding on Alola bit more, since it had a lot of unanswered questions in Sun and moon.

I just got my Sinnoh Hat Pikachu! Distribution of this one started today and goes to the ninth, I believe. I picked Sinnoh because it's my favorite region and was the first one I ever visited in a main series Pokemon game since Diamond was the first main series game I ever owned a copy of. Also, that hat has a pretty shade of blue on it. ^^ Which special hat Pikachu did everyone else pick?

Same here. Out of curiosity, is anyone going to pre-order tickets for the 20th Pokémon movie for the I choose you cap?
