    Welcome

I personally prefer a hard rock song for battle scenes, but its your artwork

Id say you have a right to be proud of that. Lookin forward to the next one 😀

I'm really grateful for your compliment!

    Thanks again!

I think my next FMV will be Fire emblem Awakening.

    Hope you watch that too!

You'll get an warning or something if there's actually an copyright claim; but that'll be an bridge that you'll cross when you get there

Sorry for asking continually, but I will not be sued or fined by the video even if it's copyright claimed, am I right?..

Well, you won't know until you try, considering how often an game's ost gets ripped and posted on there

So if I upload and something isn't right, then will youtube just pulls it down? Nothing more than that?

For example, disabling my account or fine me or something else.

  7. Hello guys Happy New Lunar Year!

I tried to contact YouTube to ask these questions, but I couldn't....

I made two fire emblem music videos.

    1. Music video made by Fire emblem Fate cutscene and trailer with the song "Lost in thought all alone."

    2. Music video made by Fire emblem Awakening cutscene and SSB4 trailer with the song from another game. (I didn't write the song title because it's song from another game.)

I really really wanna post these music videos to my YouTube channel. But I didn't receive any permission to use Fire emblem cutscenes and all songs that are used in my music videos..

Will it be okay to upload these videos to my channel?

    Thanks guys!

I can't find one either. It seems these days a number of companies have moved away from support e-mails because other channels are much easier for them to manage. (Twitter is the same way, for example.)

If you still need it, this is Nintendo's official support page on this issue:
    https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/28987/kw/country/p/994/c/186

tl;dr, they'll probably send you back to the bank that gave you the card. It might be a problem with the bank, not with Nintendo.

Either way, here's Ninty's contact page.
    https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/contact

The card is charged about 7 days before the game's release. If the old card on your account is still active, I'd assume it'll charge that one.

Like Armchair General said though, Nintendo's support would know best. Good luck.

Thanks so much!! The problem is solved!!

    Sorry for the late reply!

    Really appreciate!

Whenever you're on Youtube and click on My videos, you can tell right there which of your videos have a copyright claim. If it says None under Restrictions, you're in the clear. If there is a claim, you select See Details to see who is claiming it and specifically which part of the video was caught. There are three vertical dots, click on that to see what you can do about it. Cut out the part of the video entirely, Muting that part of the video, or replacing the audio in that part of the video. The fourth option is to dispute the claim. If it's your music, this is what you want to do, but I wouldn't know anything about what happens next.

Youtube tells you it's running an automatic content check after your video is finished processing. Usually takes a few minutes. If you're worried about losing out on ad revenue, try to let your video sit unpublished until that check is finished. A company can still manually content claim your video after it's uploaded, but the odds of this happening are extremely slim.

Thanks so much. it's a relief. I'm really grateful for your answer. I worried so much. Now I can post my video without worrying.^^

    Thanks really!!

Kind of depends on what it sounds like. YouTube generally gives you an strike through their automated system and eventually bans you if you keep doing it.

    Thanks for answer.^^

I've used plenty of music that doesn't belong to me in youtube videos, and it often gets ignored because I'm not a partnered youtube channel. Plus the music typically isn't very popular, isn't particularly recent, or is owned by a company that doesn't usually go after fan projects. Assuming something gets detected, Youtube will put ads on the video in "certain regions". And the ad revenue said video makes goes to youtube. The video is not in threat of being taken down, and no action needs to be taken by me to keep the video live. This is called a copyright claim, not a copyright strike which is what you should try to avoid.

Although I'm looking at my copyright claims now, and they say that the content was detected but no action has been taken. So, expect the rules to change constantly. Or expect Youtube's transparency about its rules to change constantly.

If it's your music then they can't claim anything. You'll be fine. Especially if it's just background music. And if it was a remix of someone else's song, there shouldn't be an issue so long as it's different enough. Content claims are designed to go after people uploading someone else's work with no alterations. No one likes a leech. And If anybody's going to leech off someone's work, it's Youtube.

Thanks so much for giving answer in detail!

    I really appreciate your help!

So sorry but one more question...

If I earn money through that video, and later someone says that the BGM is theirs, then, can they sue me or fine me? (If they say "Because you earned money with my music")

I made some melody using (piano, violin, music box) instrument by soundtrap..

I wanna use this BGM for my video.. But worried if this melody already exist..

So will it be okay to use it until youtube pulls my video down?

  13. Hello guys.

I have made some BGM to use it in my Youtube videos.

But, I can't assure that this melody is already made or owned by someone.

So if this BGM is already owned by someone, then will using this BGM that I made be plagiarising?

Will I be fined or sued or something else?

    Thanks!

  14. Hello guys!

    I have some questions.

I made some music video with Fire emblem three houses cutscene and Vocal ost from another game.

And I wanna post that at my youtube channel..

This is first time I'm uploading something to my youtube channel.

So I don't have any idea.

    For example,

Do I need to receive some permission from Nintendo and Another game?

And will it be illegal to upload my Music Video without permission?

I wanna some tips, guideline, rules and more about uploading something like my Fire emblem three houses Music video at youtube channel.

    Thanks!

I' pretty sure size of storage isn't the primary concern, the only reason I stuck with 128 GB was price.

SDXC will be fine too, I'll link what's on Ninty's support pages: https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22481/~/microsd-card-faq

Shouldn't be a problem. Got a 400gb SDXC in my Switch Lite and it's doing fine.

From what I remember Switch supports SD cards up to 2TB, and I don't think those are even released yet.

    Thanks guys for the answer!

  16. Hello guys.

I have some question about Micro SDcard.

I need to buy micro SDcard to play more nintendo switch games.

I want to buy 512GB micro SD card. (It's SDXC)

Item's detail name:  Samsung Memory MB-MC512GAEU 512 GB Evo Plus Micro SD Card

My question is, does nintendo switch support 512GB micro SDcard?

I mean, is it too big for nintendo switch to operate well?

    Thanks.

  17. Hello guys.

I'm really sorry to ask same things again..

    I really want answers.

I made music video using Fire emblem three houses, Fire emblem fates and Fire emblem awakening cutscene.

And used music from another game and another Pop music.

For example, I cropped "Fire emblem three houses cutscene" and used "Let it go" music from Frozen movie.

And I also used "Fire emblem awakening cutscene" and used "Kimi ga iru ka" music from Final fantasy.

I want to post all my music videos on my YouTube channel. (I have more music video like these)

    Will this be okay?

I mean, I made this music video without permisson from both company.

Will I be sued? Or fined?

I don't know whether this is legal or not.

    Thanks.

Yep, it substantially improved my quality of life in the game. Especially after it was updated.

I remember when conventional wisdom was that everyone should have Plateslayer/Dracoslayer, and it put a major burden on resources. Now I followed the google docs recommendations and have Chrom, Lucina, Lyn, and Marth as Antitriangle swords with mountslayer/dracoslayer, my other swords as plateslayer/wingslayer, my lances with Mountslayer/Dracoslayer, and my axes as Mountslayer/Dracoslayer.
