Renais expected more hustle in her step considering what they were up against. "Thank you, miss. I'm Renais by the way..." Since they were working together now probably best to pass her name along. So with that next step she rushed over to Syndra next. Renais moves to 8, 11 and heals Syn.

Renais was a bit surprised at the sudden burst of energy, but as soon as a voice called out to her she realized what was going on. So she simply nodded at the new woman and continued her healing. One more heal for the good dragon boy!

Renais moves 12, 12 and heals Cin The pinkette rushed to Cin's side as fast as she could and patched him up quickly. "Cin stay with me please..."

Renais' group had arrived right on time to hear their leader shout "Tigers defend the townsfolk", which more or less meant this situation went the direction the cleric didn't want it to go. "...you all heard her, let's get to work." She quickly got in position to keep the team stable and healthy.

Ren and Ayane had their tearful reunion, but Ren made sure to give Ayane a piece of his mind before they regrouped with the others. The two oni were still together, Ren didn't seem to have much to say however. He simply turned his head to Gaby and nodded at her, just to let her know he's fine. Meanwhile, Ayane couldn't help but draw her eyes toward Lucille and Bladen with some concern. 'I feel bad for that move I did back there, but...well I only hope they understand. Should I talk to them?' Ayane struggled with the idea, she knew she'd have to deal with some backlash. Strange, Ayane didn't fear death, this was different however.

Renais simply watched as Miria took the unconscious Tanya on her back and strolled out with her, powered armor fully equipped on top of that. "This really is happening is it...?" Renais cursed the dumb misfortune the Tigers carried, a true danger magnet of a unit. After a moment to herself she accepted her fate and quickly followed behind Miria and Syndra. "Let's hurry and regroup with the others, hopefully Tanya will shape up by the time we're all united."

Enough time had passed for Renais to finish he beef stew and pay up, she even had spare time to ask around about the piano. Eventually she got info about one from a friendly passerby. "...Sarasin's manor." She took a sigh. 'Of course it would be up there, I should have gone with Tio...' She didn't regret the time she spent with her fellow Tigers, but she really wanted to get this over with. So she approached the group slowly and was about to bring up her last minute hiking plans, but then Miria pointed out the knights ahead. "...ah." Another sigh. 'So close...it would be easy to believe it's just a passing platoon but...' Her eyes darted to the side. '...dammit. I had to be the only healer in this group...' "Alright, let's get to the inn then. I hope it's nothing serious..." Renais did her best, but she couldn't help but sound irritated.

"Altair Knights..." Renais repeated as she took note of his status. While she was confident the group wouldn't get into trouble, she still hoped it would stay that way. "Alright, thank you for answering..." She nodded her head at the knight as he walked in. She turned to Syn. "Well, let's not keep Miria and Tanya waiting." She walked in after him and found Miria and Tanya already ordering their meals. "...just two bowls? You must not be that hungry." She joked, but Renais has seen what Miria could do at the dinner table. "I'll just take one bowl and a glass, please." She sat near Miria.

Nisha's words did actually reach Ren a little, enough to make him slow down in his pace as he took a sigh. "...mm, fine. I don't wanna fight what's out there, I just wanna make sure she's safe..." Ayane was everything to Ren right now, there was so much going through his head. But he decided to slow his pace a little as the group entered the room and saw more allies ahead of them. Ren moves 9, 30 -------------------- Meanwhile, Ayane kept running herself. It did mean she was separating herself from Thesephine's group, but her emotions seemed to take control of her right now. 'I have to get out...I have to...for Ren, for everyone.' She kept her pace until she just rushed through another room nearby, not terribly far from Ren and the others. Ayane moves 16, 28

As Renais entered with the group she noticed a man hail them and mention a dragon. "That rounds down two people I know, so I believe that's a yes." She nodded her head at the man. "We're with the Iron Tigers. I'm assuming some of our group got rooms ahead of time, so I'm not worried about that." Renais was a bit surprised to lead considering how withdrawn she desperately tries to be, but she didn't mind that much. "That being said, I had an odd question. Do you happen to know if someone owns a piano somewhere around here?"

Renais couldn't help but smile a little at the reassurance. "Thank you, Syn. My sister is the strongest person I know, I think she'll be fine." Of course she had some troubling thoughts, but she decided to shelf them for a while. "Ah, yes. I think we should try the tavern." She started to lead off. 'Ah, right. I forgot to tell Tio and Elisa, and they just got to work. Should I go after them?' She took a minute to think on that. '...mmm, no. It'd take too long to explain to the girls here, and we're already invested in finding a piano. I'll see if I can find one first and then I'll tell them before I try.' With that settled she pressed toward the tavern.

It was a little surprising to see Syn talk about herself openly, though she still kept things vague enough to keep Renais guessing. That being said, the pinkette was actually invested. "A noble family...so you're actually from high society?" 'Sing praises out of adoration or fear. they seem strict...and they're well off. This all sounds like a story I read about a mafia. But that was just a fictional spy thriller, there's no way they actually exist...do they?' Renais had so many questions for Syn now, but she wondered how dangerous it would be to poke further. Before Renais could bring up said questions however the subject changed, and Tanya took the initiative to introduce her own family. They seek out justice and wish to make the world a better place, they were quite close too from the sound of things. Renais didn't have all the information on the table, but it sounded like they were cut from a different cloth than Syndra's family. The one thing they had in common was they seemed like big families. 'I'm almost a little jealous, I wonder what it's like having such a large family...' "Hm, well my family isn't as large. In fact it's just me and my sister Liza Silvavolke, she's a knight of Kansei...and the whole reason why I joined this unit. I'm trying to find her." She took a sigh. "But it seems like whatever she's doing it's very out of the way, I heard she was in Islexia."

"...but whatever that blast was Ayane could be fighting it, what if she needs me?" He turned back as he continued to run. "What can I do?" Ren runs toward 6, 26 --------------- Speaking of Ayane, she tried to compose herself after that blast. "Mm..." She shook her head a little and took a look at the aftermath. 'Whatever caused this...is it something we can even handle if it's a threat?' Ouka was a powerful spellcaster, but this was a little past what Ayane expected. "Tch, dammit..." She got up and started to bolt off in a direction. Ayane moves toward 17, 19

"A music group? I uh...don't know about that...maybe after I figure things out." Considering Renais seemed to get light headed around music, she thought it best to put those plans away until she solves that issue. The worst of it happened during school when she walked by the band room and fainted. She turned back to Syn when she demonstrated her magical talents. The rose was quite pretty, and spot on to what Renais thought of Syn. She was quite talented with magic. "Hm, well I'm sure you'd make a good...wait, soldier?" But of course something did stand out to Renais, the whole 'Breeding a family of soldiers' bit. "...Syndra, are you from a military family?" Renais just realized she hadn't talked about herself often. Of course she wasn't one to talk all things considered, the pinkette only started opening up herself very recently.

Syn had a point. Renais wasn't sure how, but something told her she could play the piano. Which meant she did so before. 'Maybe it was during my missing years...' She rose her head to Syndra and nodded. "Right, let's get going then." She turned her head to Miria and Tanya and walked along. Syndra was another pretty girl, but she seemed a little distant as well. Like a rose in Renais' eyes. "...um, Syndra." She turned her head back to the mage. "Have you ever played a musical instrument?"

Ilvira's warning reached Ayane in time to just evade what was coming. She was on the floor and in complete awe at the blast that nearly vaporized her. The oni's jaw opened wide, and her eyes followed suit. "...ah..." Ayane's rage was replaced by some slight fear. ------------------ Ren's head rose up a little, even from his position he heard something from a distance. "...Ayane..." His worst fears may have just come true, which was motivation enough to have him start sprinting toward the direction he hadn't checked yet. Ren starts sprinting toward 3, 19

When the wagon stopped at Liste she quickly got up and stepped out to view the town. Thankfully her lighter clothing helped her against the heat a little, but she still didn't like it. 'Well, not much to be done about that.' She was about to walk off on her own to look around, but Tanya poked her and brought up doing just that. "Ah...yeah, I don't think so either. But sure." She could imagine trying to find a piano of all things may be frustrating, she even cursed her terrible luck that her headaches had to be connected to something so strange. But at least Tanya was nice enough to help with the search. 'I'll have to gather Cin and the Evokers a little later too, they'll need to know...' She turned to Miria. "Would you like to join us?" When Syn walked ahead of the group a little and answered Renais, she turned to the ice mage. "Ah well...I might?" An odd answer to be certain, but even Renais wasn't sure if she could. "I think I can, but I also may have forgotten so...uh it's complicated." She laughed nervously, unsure how to explain. "But I guess if I come across one I'll find out..."

The oni princess finished patching up her own wounds, it wasn't a clean job but it was good enough. "...my thanks." She spoke to her new companion Ilvira, and did her best to hold back her grumbles. They continued onward until Ayane found a familiar face with Suki. "...good, more company." She settled her nerves down and took a slight bow to Thesephine. "A good sign to be certain, but sadly I haven't seen anyone else on our way." She turned to Ilvira. "How are your wounds doing?" 26, 18 and Ayane finishes off her vuln

Sixteen really was tense around some of the members, Renais noticed she listed non-human Tigers that she fancied so far. Then when she brought up 'especially not the humans' she knew what was going on. 'She doesn't like humans...hmm.' Tio said she was interested in who Aly really was, now her sister entered the scene and she also had something strange about her. It was curious. But at the same time Renais couldn't help but worry about what this meant. Worst case scenario was that Sixteen might go on a rampage, for all she knew this could be a trap. '...mm, am I being paranoid? I can't help shake this feeling I have.' With a quick shake of her head she turned back to her book, and hoped to take her mind off her active imagination. "...uh small request." She spoke out loud to the group in the wagon. "If anyone finds a piano in the hamlet let me know, please." It probably may come off as a strange request, but she really needed to see something for herself.

Renais tried her best to relax in the cart, though the heat was making it a little difficult. Or it would be if Syndra wasn't cooling the cart for the group, she certainly appreciated that. The dress was nicer for this than her school uniform as well, she'd have to thank Tio for that. "...mm..." Miria was resting on her shoulder a bit. As usual Renais would protest, but she couldn't help but notice how adorable Miria looked while she slept. So she just continued to read her book while the wagon went on. "...thank you, Syn." She spoke out. "I don't go to hot places very often, so the spells are much appreciated." Renais didn't really interact with Syn that often, she always viewed her as a rose that should be viewed not touched. But something about being more open with Miria and Gean helped change that a little. 'I really am getting more open aren't I...?'

Yuyu, huh. Must be a nickname considering the way Tanya spoke about her, she certainly was playful. Renais didn't expect her to join along, and it was a little troublesome since she saw a bit of her real personality. But otherwise she seemed like a nice enough person, someone Renais didn't mind talking to at all. Then came the playful wink, and it got a tiny blush on her cheeks. But then something came to mind, and she quickly turned away. "...maybe she'd have more in common with Miria, truth be told. I'd be more a stick in the mud than anything." She cleared her voice. "I'll see you later, Tanya. I shouldn't keep that chapter waiting." She nodded her head at her new companion and walked along. '...with the way I can't take my eyes off...mm I'm terrible. Who would want to be in my company?'

"You have a sister too?" Seems to be quite common in this camp so far. "Well, the book I'm reading is called Carnelia. I've been told it's based off a true story, but it's probably more or less hearsay from what I understand. It's about a young mercenary wrapped up in a conspiracy. A thrilling read, but I don't know what kind of tastes your sister has." She paused for a bit to think. "I know some adventure titles I could write down for you if you'd like."

Tanya's 'reassurance' didn't seem to bother Renais that much, the headpat however made her turn her eyes to the side. "...the situation is under control. I don't mind if she dislikes me, I'm already used to it in fact." Given her relationship with Alvira, the lack of another non-human girl's approval wasn't going to rob Renais any sleep as long as she didn't want to hurt her. That being said, one thing did bother her a little. 'Sister she says...why am I so far from mine?' She took a moment to herself, and once she composed her inner thoughts she turned back to Tanya. "I think we'll be fine, so I believe I will occupy myself with a book."

When Tanya and Alriana approached the cleric, she did her best to keep composed. "Gean's handling a sensitive case inside-" But as she explained to Tanya and looked up at Aly's peaking, the ladder was suddenly tackle hugged away from the wagon. The strange girl Gean spoke to had grappled Aly, but not quite in a threatening way. It was more affectionate. "Ah..." Gean came out and explained the situation, but Tanya leaned in to ask Renais what was going on. "We found this girl in the wagon, she seemed very uncomfortable around me...I don't know what else to do other than follow Gean's advice." Also it seemed like it was Tasha's birthday, which was a bit interesting to bring up in a situation like this but she'll have to give her wishes later.
