    Though I remember reading the remark of her being too strong even much after it was clear that all the moves were custom abilites. I guess I'm alone on this, but I actually like her default specials. I love having both a counter and a move to reflect projectiles. This combination is unique to her, and it's fun to use every attack of your enemy against him. I like warp because of the freedom of direction to move. Auto-reticle is garbage though. No denying that. Still have to fully explore her other moves though. I haven't experimented much with her yet.

    I actually had no problem adjusting to grabs being on the L-button. I've played the demo so much that I didn't bother to change anymore in the full version. I even managed to get used to shield with Y, cause the R-button broke and I had to change the controls. Looking back to prerelease, I think it's really hilarious how everyone was complaining about Palutena being overpowered, even going so far to call her a second Meta Knight (quite a popular phrase it seems), before even knowing how she was going to play.

    Well, Kirby is a big enough franchise to maybe warrant a fourth character. And Bandanna Dee is the most likely choice. But why are people arguing about this sort of thing? Let's have both Isaac and Bandanna Dee. They were my most wanted newcomers, and I get none of them. The biggest gift from Sakurai to me was Chrom not getting in and Roy not returning.

    Gyromite 2 confirmed. Could have been the reason why we didn't get Isaac. Though I think any series has a future with the popularity boost it would get from being included in Smash.

    Additionally, if a game sells bad or is expected to do so, then most often Europe gets the short end of the stick. There are several games I love that didn't get released at all here, while NA got them. None of the Smash-related events that all of you were talking about in this thread were available here, as far as I know. These tourneys and demos in certain stores. None of that. I think some scarf is an acceptable price for getting all this. I actually found it rather funny how so many complained about not having a Gamestop near them. I've got two in my city, but I could forget about that demo-event anyway. xD

    Haha. Now imagine living here permanently and getting nearly every game later than the rest of the world. That's why I was so happy when we got Smash 3DS one day earlier than everyone except for Japan. It was like a very small victory. xD

    I don't know the reason for this, but as far as I know, Nintendo games are always released on a Friday in Europe. That fits with the fifth of december. I don't think that St. Nicolaus Day has anything to do with the release date. You lived in Germany for a while? Where exactly, if I may ask? Just curious.

    By the way: The Wii Fit Trainer has an alternate version for her deep breathing special, that doesn't power her up and instead creates an explosion around her. Simply by breathing. That's the most awesome yoga trainer I've ever seen. Feel the burn!

    Since I mostly used this thread to get all news on the game, I originally planned to leave once I have the game. But all the rage here is insanely funny. Maybe I'll follow this thread a little longer. If we banned every character that is called a "second Meta Knight" in here, we'd be running short on characters pretty soon. This is ridiculous. At the moment, I am pissed about Charizards Side-B, because it's quick, strong and hard to evade. Am I hating Charizard now? No. Am I calling him overpowered? No. I'll just learn how to deal with that attack. And I'll learn how to fight against Rosalina, and I'll learn how to deal with Macs KO-attack. I think all of you can do that as well. If there is any character that turns out to be truly overpowered as Meta Knight was, we'll find out soon enough. The only character I'm hating is Sonic, because I can't stand cartoony blue hedgehogs, whose only personality trait is being arrogant. And if we can't all have fun and be nice to each other, then I'll just enjoy myself and feed off your hate, cause I'll be maining both Rosalina and Zero Suit Samus. :D Now, does anyone here find it as funny as I do when the announcer in Classic mode says "Giant Little Mac"? :D

    As far as I've seen, the golden hammers can only be used on the challenge board you get them on, so... just hammer that thing open. I missed the same challenge and just did it.

    Two of the things that I hated the most about him. Yes! I love it! <3 I've unlocked all characters now. Me and my friends played the game the whole day long. It would be a shame if I didn't have every char. Are we now allowed to "spoiler" in this thread? It's not like anyone really used the extra-thread.

    Not that it's particularly hard to enjoy something more than online-Brawl. Haven't played the game online yet. But I'm on my way to some friends to play. I'm still missing the unlockable newcomers. I wanted to have them before I fight my friends.

    As far as I've seen, you can only change the language by changing the language of your 3DS. I don't know if that's possible with an ntsc-3DS. At least I don't have to play the game in german. Who says that you'd have to wait in long lines? I had no problem. Got my game on Wednesday by the way. :P My feeling about the newcomers seemed to be quite precise. All the characters I found interesting are actually fun to play. I think I should concentrate on one or two characters to get good at, instead of trying all at once. As it stands now, it seems I'm doubling the number of my mains. My favorites right now are Palutena and Rosalina. Everytime I KO an enemy with Luma, I have the urge to give him a high five. <3

    I wanted to check the stores today anyway. Nice to know that I should check Saturn as well and not only Gamestop. :D And if they don't have it already, I'll at least get my copy tomorrow. God, that feels good. <3 I didn't notice much difference as well until I started to play as Lucas. As was already said, they have about the same height, speed and weight (I guess), so they play rather similar. But except for the Sidesmash and some of the specials, all their attacks are different from another.

    This thread is about Smash, not about Zelda. Of course we drift away from the actual topic now and then. But if you want to discuss another game without any regard to Smash, then this is not the right place for that. Please, PLEASE don't let this discussion start again! ;__;

    It's a matter of taste. Though I think that the lack of platforms is an acceptable price to get rid of the items. A survey with 50 people isn't really representative, but it gives a general idea of the topic. I never thought that Kirby would be so unknown. And Meta Knight and Dedede are even worse. I just checked my Gamestop if they might be selling the game already. They also had Pokemon Y a while before the release. But no luck for me. Guess I'll check again on wednesday.

    I'll definitely remember that. But it seems rather odd. Is that an intended function of the attack? Or rather a glitch?

    Unfortunately, we still can't be sure. Though I guess, if there are plans for DLC, then it's actually a good thing that Isaac is no assist trophy anymore. But concerning an ingame-shop: Isn't there a shop for trophies in the game?

    I recently got two of my friends into playing Smash, and both seem to focus on Pikachu. It's funny seeing them fall to their death because they can't properly use his recovery. Maybe they chose the wrong character to start off. xD

    Must be a Swordreaver. After reading this, now I really want a desert map FE stage. With the sand slowing down your movement on the ground. And the stereotypical gay-looking bandit-twins as a stage hazard, slashing players with their axes.

    The did release the Oracle games on the 3DS virtual console. I'm no expert on the subject, but I guess that Nintendo can do what they want with these games. They own Zelda. I think it's more like "they gave Capcom permission to make these games" rather than "Capcom owns them". It's really sad that these few games don't get much spotlight. The Oracle Zeldas are my favorites after Majoras Mask. And Minish Cap is awesome as well.

    If there are gonna be tournaments, I'll probably have a look at that, too. It depends on the time. As long as I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night for it. Geez, time zones. I never liked Castle Siege. But since we already have one (new) FE stage per version, there's no need to complain.
