I have seen Zihark proc Adept with a Brave Sword. It doubles it a second time for 4x attacks (off a single Adept activation). I've seen him activate it twice in a battle for 8x attacks. I have also seen Astra critical. I can confirm that skill masteries in general can critical - it's a LOT easier to tell if you have map animations, since the "unit getting hit" flashy thing is different for a critical.

And Ashnard says Naesala is looking for chinks in his armor. And if a dragon breathes super-hot / super-cold stuff on your armor and it heats/freezes, it'll hurt. And if a lion slams into you, the sudden acceleration is going to make you bounce off the inside of your impervious armor. It'll hurt like heck. Still doesn't explain why nobody else can hurt him, like, if fire dragon breath can, why not fire magic?

I'm planning to try the PAL POR in Dolphin, so I can import save data to a Radiant Dawn version Dolphin can actually play, but I want to have the bands available. But all the saves I can find are for the NTSC-U. Are there any PAL .gci files that have bands unlocked? Alternatively, I did beat the NTSC-U version before I knew how horridly non-Pal RD runs. Is there a way to translate save data from NA to EU? Or, at least, is there a completed save file on PAL and instructions on hacking save data so I could copy the stats from the NA save over the EU save?

Yeah, that's probably what I'm going to end up doing. Except only Normal and Hard mode, since I am morally opposed to playing Easy. Also probably just Hard, since I'll probably only play Normal once just to chill out and have a stress-free game while I unlock Pelleas and Lehran for the REAL game. :P

When I start a new FE10 file using data from an FE9 save, will it remember the FE9 data when I start a new file later on? Or do I have to plug in my FE9 memory card every time I start a new file? (That would be especially annoying since my new Wii is one of those without Gamecube compatibility... meaning to get FE9 data in the first place I'll have to start a file on my brother's Wii and transfer data via SD card, which won't be an option when he leaves and takes his with him.)

Scrolls are a good thing to know about too, I think? I don't know if there's any way at all to know what they do WITHOUT looking it up, to be honest. And they're useful.

Are you reading things on how to recruit each character? There's a good one on this website somewhere. I recommend you make darn sure you get Shiva.

I admit, I did have a full half dozen unused ones at the end. Near the end, though, I was averaging one or two per chapter in order to fill up all my deployment slots. I pretty much benched everyone I decided not to end up promoting. Also there were definitely a few chapters where I needed lots of lol staff users. Not to mention that I have a pathological fear of ending chapters before I've killed all of the reinforcements, so stamina levels were always high...

save up money / capture and sell weapons for the shop in chapter 14 which sells them buy a dozen or so big help, srsly

k, so, I just finished Thracia for the first time, and some of my characters are pretty good I guess did pretty much no levelabusing whatsoever except with like 5 levels ever, one to make sure Pahn could steal Torron and one so he could steal master swords and lances, and a couple to make people get 20 instead of 19 in skill or something dumb like that also I pretty much made sure that nobody ever leveled while holding more than one scroll (that would be cheating) spoilered for long who caresness oh, and this wasn't on elite mode aka EASY MODE for n00bs

I think the bottom number is Attack Speed; if yours is higher by 4 you double. Oh, and the scrolls are VERY USEFUL, by the way. You might wanna consider looking up what they do. And then use them lots.

If I ever make a hack, you can bet I would make sure every skill is inheritable to everyone. Of course, right now I have little more than a title, so whatever.

Azel/Fury is really fun. Sety will pretty much be sure to cap speed and magic and can use A Magic (even if Bolganone is heavy, but hey! 30 Speed!), Fee with 22 Magic and 30 Speed activating Continue repeatedly with a Wind Sword is awesome. Flying mage for the win.
