  1. I wonder if they will change the Dragon Vein (Flame) description.

Because "Cannot be slowed by terrain" effects do not apply sounds like that skills with the Traverse Terrain effect don't work against the Flame Terrain, but in reality it does.

Refined Fujin Yumi and the Traverse Terrain Status effect granted by Khadein weapons can ignore the movement restriction inflicted by the Dragon Vein (Flame).

Ranged Fliers without those effects are still penalized. They don't ignore the penalty, like how they do with Forest tiles.

Who's the best for fodder out of these four units, please? I'm wondering if it's Soren considering he has Flare AND Mag NFU. As for Robin, I just wanted to confirm something: Gambit 1 -> 3 is just a Dodge skill that uses cooldown count instead of Spd, right?

Soren's fodder is great for Infantry Mages, since if you can get all Flare, Mag NFU and Time's Pulse 4 at the same time. His entire kit is infantry exclusive, so if you have an infantry tome unit that can use that, Soren is the guy (You can even give him to Rearmed Ophelia, to be able to pass all those 3 skills plus Arcane Eclipse). But he is also good for infantry dragons since they can use the B and C slots well.

Robin's foder is Gambit and Finish. While Finish is infantry exclusive, Gambit is for Sword, Lance and Axe units of all movement types. And yes, Gambit 1 to 3 is just Dodge:

    • Gambit 1 is unit's max Special cooldown count value × 4 (max 20%);
    • Gambit 2 is unit's max Special cooldown count value × 7 (max 35%);
    • Gambit 3 is unit's max Special cooldown count value × 10 (max 50%).

His fodder is very good for infantry unit. You can take Gambit 3 and Finish 4 at the same time, if you have the prior fodder. You will be missing the Spd/Def-4 and extra true damage Gambit 4 provides though.

Corrin's fodder is Counter Roar, A/S Far Save and Armored Floe. Counter Road is dragon adn beast exclusive. The tiers 1 to 3 only have the damage reduction and counterattack damage, while Tier 4 also has the Atk/Spd-4 on foe and healinf after combat. In the end, Corrin's fodder is niche, because it's only for non human foes or for armors. You can get Far Save and Armored Foe at the same time, at least, if you have a good speedy armor that also have nice Res (Winter Ignatz, Winter Sothis and Rearmed Grima are some of the untis that come to mind... especially Grima, if you use her in Arena).

Gullveig's fodder is Flared Sparrow and A/S Oath 4. Very easy to get both skills at the same time, however only fliers can inherit both, since Flared Sparrow is for mounted classes only (fliers and cavalry), and Oath is for infantry and Fliers only (so only fliers can inherit both). Even though Flared Sparrow is a speedy skill, the 7 damage it grants and the Flame Vein after combat makes this skill a good pick even for slow units. Warping is used aby anyone, but that Oath is better on speedy units.

I think it depends on the type of units you use to be able to consider who is the best fodder here. In my opinion, Soren and Gullvein are the best ones because you has an easier time getting all the fodder at the same time, even though their fodder is more niche for certain classes. Robin's Gambit is very good if you use high cooldown specials, but it also competes with others B skills like the new Desperation 4 and Flow Desperation 4, or even Dodge 4 skills for units that have Slaying effect or prefer to run low cooldown specials. Corrin's fodder is for non humans or/and armors. If you don't care for them, her fodder is not fro you.

Btw, can Assign Decoy target two allies at the same time, if both are tied as having the highest def (and none is the support partner, obviously), or the effect won't go to anyone instead?

If you go for the Highest Def condition, yes. You can have two Assign Decoy units with a single Soren, as long both units have the same Def Stat.

This video will help you understand some points of this status effect:

Anyway, 4k Dragonflowers is a nice bonus, is that new for a Forging Bonds?

They did that to last year's CYL Forging Bonds as well. They add these dragonflowers as extra rewards in Forging Bonds without taking the others rewards away.

  5. BoaFerox brought a very good point when I was chatting with him on Discord, that I will bring here:

Does Soren's Assign Decoy allow us to cheat, and bring two Saviors to modes like Summoned Duels and AR Chaos Season?

Those modes only allow us to have one Saviors, but Soren's Tome description doesn't say that it's treated as a Savior skill so it should be allowed.

So you can pretty much bring a Near or Far Savior, and the Assign Decoy will bring the other one. If that's how it works, that's disgusting how a new skill can cheat a major rule of those game modes.

  6. One complain I have with Robin is that his Adept Damage is locked behind using Bonfire or Ignis. In most the modes that's fine, but you can't use those specials in scoring modes like Arena because that will hurt your total score, so in the end you cannot use all abilities he has. They should have at least added Blue Flame to the special skills list.

  7. I can see Gullveig being based on Kvasir's attire, I guess. Once thing I would like for her is to be the Golden Seer but not having desire to kill everyone. Like... a good verson of her... but of course, with a different attire and playstyle, although I still expect that extra action thing.

I would like Corrin with Omega Yato, but I already expect her to be a dragon.

I expect Robin to be a tome unit, with grand strategy again. Or maybe something based on Chrom.

For Soren, I have no idea. Maybe mage again, with maybe a sweep effect since 2 of the 4 Sorens we got so far have a Sweep effect (Watersweep on OG, and Windsweep in Young's Tome).

Corrin in some sort of Revelation-inspired outfit (but different from her Adrift alt) wielding the Yato form from Revelation.

So... Queen of Valla Corrin, from the Cipher Cards?

  8. I don't expect anything from this month's story. The Part 2 of the two previous TT stories also didn't add anything relevant, mostly because if they added a new character here that character would not apear in the next New Heroes banner because that will be the CYL banner.

I can see Ginnungagap being introduced next month and appearing in September's banner. Then some Ascended/Rearmed OCs after that. Peony and Triandra as my picks here.

You might wanna edit those skill descriptions, I don't think AScatch and Bold Fighter are carbon copies of ARrein in all but names and skill icons 😛

Thanks! I forgot to change those. lol

  9. A new Tempest Trials+ Series is coming, titled "Nihility & Dream"!

    yitlHRd.png

The curtain rises on Nihility & Dream, a series of events focusing on the story of Peony and other álfar!

Plus, story elements that feature Special Heroes chatting will be released on the 4th day and 7th day after the event starts!

The bonus allies of this TT+ are:

    A6IDSPV.png

    Tailtiu's skills at 5★ Lv 40:

    lZuLgNV.png

    P66MHU3.png Teacake Tower+ (Mt: 12 Range: 2)
If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit and inflicts penalty on
    foe's Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current bonus on each of foe's stats × 2.
(Calculates each stat penalty independently; example: if foe has +7 bonus to Atk, inflicts Atk-14, for a net penalty of Atk-7.)

    JtOMM8J.png Reciprocal Aid
Unit and target ally swap HP. (Neither can go above their max HP.)

    fA7mkpJ.png Still Water 3
    Grants Atk/Res+5. Inflict Def-5.

    8M0Lm5N.png Drive Atk 2
Grants Atk+3 to allies within 2 spaces during combat.

    And the Sacred Seals are:
    * Description for the enchanted version of each sacred seal *

    I9YRGyO.png Atk/Spd Catch 3
At start of combat, if foe's HP = 100% or if【Penalty】is active on foe, grants Atk/Spd+3 to unit during combat.

    0xNz5g6.png Bold Fighter 3
If unit initiates combat, grants Special cooldown charge +1 per unit's attack, and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. (Does not stack.)

You can also earn some Divine Codes: Ephemera 8 by reaching the 6,000 score, and an Anima Blessing by reaching the 12,500 score.

The next event in the series, titled Nihility & Dream 3, is scheduled for Ver. 7.9.0. Because the story of Nihility & Dream is told through a series of events,
you will be able to view the story on the Tempest Trials+ event page after the event is over, even if you didn't participate in it.

As expected of Chivalric Aura, it has the same effect as Holy-Knight Aura minus the start-of-turn movement boost, but it comes with Quickened Pulse built in instead, which is pretty nifty.

Correction: it comes with Time's Pulse. That's an important thing because Quickened Pulse you can False Start on turn 1 or use a Pulse Tie skill and be done with that, meanwhile having Time's Pulse mean that if you decharge his special it will come back the next turn.

Kinda bother me that they didn't give the same treatment to Legendary Leif when he got his remix.

One unit comes to mind however: Summer Edelgard.

Yeah. She was the only one that came to mind. She will prefer that over Heavy Blade seal.

  11. Good. I hate this banner.

By Lysithea has a Prf A skill? Makes no sense. And I hate Desperation 4.

Why Sigurd has a Sweep effect against all foes but Bows and Daggers?!

Also, remember Canto Recall on Duo Nina from last year? What about making it better and give it to Harmonized Ayra and her infinite Special?

I also hate Flow Desperation. Can't wait to see Summer Female Shez with that skill.

  12. I don't think people mentioned it here, so... does Ayra has a 1 Cooldown special, and that becomes a permanent Zero Cooldown because of the slaying effect on her weapon?

She triggered the special against that foe, but her special counter didn't change... it stayed as fully charged. And it doesn't look to be a Special Spiral effect situation.

By calculating her special damage, looks to be 40% of her Spd, which is the same as Regnal Astra. So is Supreme Astra just Regnal Astra but being 1 CD instead of 2 CD?

Seems like Lysithea is getting Desperation 4, cool, I hope it get a better HP trigger condition.

I will guess that the condition will be "if unit's HP<100%". So as long unit is not at full HP, they will have Desperation. Lysithea is inflicting Spd-10 Res-6 on foe during ocmbat, so I will guess that Desperation 4 also inflict Spd-4 on foe during combat.
