  1. Happy Birthday!!! (again)

  4. Happy B-Day, man.

  5. Up to 3:00 flat. Alright, beat Flannery (all Marshy as always). Beat Brawly (all Zubat). I taught Nincada Toxic and Dig so it can (A) train itself and (B) pass on some decent moves to both Ninjask and Shedinja. Beat Norman as well. Marshy took down Spinda, from there it was all Toxic, Wonderguard shenanigans, and syncing up Dig to beat Truant. So Shedinja did most of the work. Just caught a higher level Electrike, now fishing for Corphish.
  6. At 1:45 just before Lavaridge gym. Do note I skipped Brawly my first trip to Dewford. team is (and I estimate the levels): Marshtomp lv 26 Zubat (from Meteor Falls) lv 20 Zubat (from Granite Cave) lv 9 Nincada (lv 14) Electrike (lv 13) Wynaut Egg (just received) Nincada has been gaining levels from the Exp Share. Electrike and the original Zubat combined to ParaFlinch May's Grovyle. Marshtomp has done literally everything else. Between incoming arrivals of Golbat, Manetric, and Corphish, the Marshtomp solo should come to end soon enough.
  7. But I wanted Marill. For attacking shit. Edit: that's cool that's cool
  8. Ninjask, Electrike, and Zubat. I like it. Very fast. *finger cross*
  9. sorry yo this account and name is way better edit: also can we have some rule that prevents people from using only like 2 Pokemon and just torching everything? Like a penalty for every level past 55 (or whatever) or a clause that forces 5 Pokemon to be within like 15 levels of each other. Or we just just all vow not to be dicks and have fun.
  10. Marshtomp got EQ because no one else can learn it. Juan wasn't too bad, thanks to x4 water resistance and Toxic on Ludicolo. I didn't even have to evolve Chinchou beforehand. Then I sailed on over to Ever Grande. Wally was kinda tricky, but I got a bit of lucky confusion and Crobat is as awesome as ever. So I'm currently making my way through the cave. I should wrap things up this week. All levels are 30-33. I'm about at the point where I should start feeding all mandatory exp to Lanturn and Crobat, since they level the slowest.
  11. Okay, you've convinced me to get back at it. I finally got Liza And Tate by giving half my team Protect to buy time to give Xatu enough time to get in an X Speed and a bunch of X Attacks that he could set up Light Screen and sweep with Fly and Steel Wing. Crobat helped out with a Screech on Claydol. Everyone else drew Psychics and Earthquakes. Then I go beat up the grunts at the Space Station. I actually lost once to Maxie, but didn't restart because I hadn't saved since before T+L, then I lost AGAIN to Maxie, still not having learned my lesson, so I lost about 50k in the process. Basically, I'm an idiot. Hopefully between mass-berry farming, selling absolutely everything, and the money I'll earn between now and then, I'll have enough left to supply myself for the E4. At this point, I got the underwater Water Stone from the Abandoned Ship, and a Chinchou (Bold nature + Volt Absorb ftw), so my team is actually looking like the epic-Special-Defense-based water-killing one I had planned. I teach Chinchou Thunderbolt and Surf. I also did some treasure hunting in the meantime. Team Aqua and Archie got wrecked, thanks to my numerous grass and water types. I'm about to go release Rayquaza. Everyone is currently between lv 28 (Marshtomp) and 31 (Crobat). Plus Xatu is chillin' in the box at 33.
  12. I played T+L to death trying every strategy I could come up with short of powerleveling and got a whole ton of nowhere. I might just bite the bullet one of these days and get Xatu or Kadabra to like 40ish. Fun fact: it turns out if you Skill Swap Levitate off of something, its partner will NOT Earthquake it to death. Oh, and I lost interest a bit once I realized that the main strategies I was planning on using I picked up from a LLC run I did on GameFAQs once in which Shedinja, Wobbs, X items, and switching Pokemon (other than Shedinja and Castform) out of your party were all banned, but you could use whatever you wanted. Everyone got behind using REALLY fast Pokemon with Screech (Crobat, Electrode, Ninjask), Paralysis (Secret Power, Thunder), residual damage (Toxic, Leech Seed), and priority moves (Swellow, Absol, Breloom). And I'm still convinced Spionk could have been PIVOTAL.
