Hello Jaygore, I'm not exactly an expert (I've recently just started myself), but it looks like it's an issue with the pointers. Something must have happened when you were writing onto the rom and something happened to the hexes there were in place. My suggestion is to go back to your latest changes before this address error popped up (before the quotes disappearing) and see what happens when you try to edit again. We could isolate the problem if the same error appear.

Ah, okay. I guess the story of awakening was still too fresh in my mind when I started reading. I'll keep in mind the swapping as I read and that the role of the avatar (in this case Caleb) and the tactician (in this case Robin, Caleb's mother) was separated. Like you said, I think it'll stick more the further I read along. Thanks for the head up.

Wait what...? Okay, I'm getting confused. Avatar? Robin was her mother, right? XD Unless, I'm getting the character placements messed up. Robin was the tactician and want to also raise Caleb as a tactician. Caleb traveling with Lucina back into the past because there wasn't enough orbs for the fire emblem so Tiki tell them to travel back in time, and they managed to find Chrom, Fredrick, Lissa, and Robin? So technically Caleb is like Morgan(?) being Lucina's sibling with Chrom as the father? Edit: The tag too did say avatar robin, so I was expecting some family relationship forming around the avatar (who's robin) and Caleb where it never had the chance to root in the somewhat "future-past"(?).

Oh wow. I've just started reading the story (first few chapters), but it's quite interesting. (Making me motivated for my own story/script, I'm planning to write for a fanfic/ROM.) Going to be interesting where this story will take Caleb (Morgan) since he's travelling with Lucina. Poor Robin having to do all of this though. But then again, it's not like she had much of a choice.

Hello all, I've been wanting to do modding for a while now so I have went and downloaded all the relevant materials. I have recently saw Ghast and his great starting tutorial with regards to NUPS and Nightmare 1 and I would like to give Eventiel a try as well. I noticed many of the people in the community uses windows, but I think that should fine for now as long as there's a tutorial for mac users somewhere in the interwebs. For example, with regards to patching, I wish I could use Arch's tutorial, but the pictures are no longer there and I don't know how similar or different MultiPatch is with regards to other programs like NUPS. Second, with regards to Nightmare, I'm more or less limited to using Nightmare 2, since well...MacOS (I don't want to use a partition just for modding Fire Emblem games). However, when I tried to use the program myself nothing seems to be happen? It's likely I'm using it incorrectly or something of the like, but without some guidelines, I don't think I could proceed at the moment. Any help would be appreciated. Things like sprites (for which I found excellent tutorials on splicing) or animations (still looking for a tutorial) could come later.
