On the miiverse site Sakurai said something about Lucina being an alt costume for Marth, but since she had slightly different attributes they gave her a spot on the selection screen to differentiate her. Kind of weird, but I guess that explains why she didn't have the Newcomer banner on the official smash site.
I always thought there were only gonna be 3 tops, and I knew Chrom wasn't gonna be it, so I figured it would be Lucina or a magic user. Since Lucina is in kind of a weird situation I guess it's kind of like Fire Emblem has 3 & 1/2 reps.
Also pacman is third party (Namco), not Nintendo, so they only gave him 1 rep. Same with Sonic and Mega Man.

I always end up breaking the mani katti too...and nothing is transferred, everything is predetermined. in hard mode (hector at least), kent/sain/wil have 1 iron weapon each. not too sure but i think kent/sain/wil have iron and steel weapons each in normal, with one of the cavs carrying a javelin. and, depending on your total assets after lyn mode, she comes with a red, blue, or white gem along with a repaired mani katti (regardless of mode).
Rath loses a point of con in the switchover, also.

I don't think so. The older games were some of the greatest, and Nintendo is remaking them for the younger generation to enjoy as they are pretty inaccessible otherwise barring a VC release. I believe this is the main reason Nintendo is putting out so many remakes.
I think that Pokemon might be overdoing the remakes, but that's it. Games like Starfox and FE are pretty reasonable, though - their characters gained popularity after SSB, so a lot of fans wanted to play their games but couldn't. FE especially, since Marth's original games were never localized outside of Japan. (surprised EarthBound hasn't gotten remakes yet)
The nostalgia factor coupled with amazing graphics and mechanics is fantastic for a lot of these remakes. Also, having games "play heavily off of" existing titles isn't a negative at all. I would say that that should be praised. The only game to really do this is LBW, anyway, which is a great game.

I used Ilyana through endgame because she got super blessed (and capped everything
) , and I wasn't really referencing any guides or anything so had no concept of the growths of each character, since pretty much every character had great growth rates and I was basing my choices on their availabilities.Not exactly a mistake, but maybe something I wouldn't do again? Also neglected some decent units like Zihark and Tauroneo because I didn't know there was a third tier

Hero, because axes > bows. Ranger only gets 1 more move, and you've got your fliers, mounted knights, and mounted mages for ferrying anyway. I also like Gerik's Hero sprite better than his Ranger one.

Really started to love Sugar Ray and Weezer this past semester.
Anyone got recommendations for other bands like those? I guess they're kind of alternative/rock?? My friend calls them "stoner bands."
Anyway, Gold Motel is my favorite indie band. I'm also partial to The Black Keys, Muse, Fun, Lupe Fiasco...yeah.

How Ike and Lucario are "older" then Mewtwo I have no idea.
How does Marth or Ike affect Chroms chances when he will most likely be very unique if he gets in this game from the trends of the newcomers we've seen, you also make hardly any sense complaining about blue haired swordsmen then saying Lucina. Like being female makes her legitimately different just because she is female. She could be unique and such yes but that's a hardly fair comparison to Chrom at all.
I wouldn't say no to a mage but even with DLC do a good chunk of people know who Celica or Miccy are? Look at the Japanese fan bases reactions to Radiant Dawn Ike. They don't even recognize his look. How then would they react to Miccy. This is also after they think Little Mac is there to appeal mostly to the west. Which quite a number are not happy with

What "trends" are you referring to? Greninja and Rosalina are the only newcomers from returning franchises, and they are absolutely nothing like their franchise counterparts, whether in Smash or their home games. Chrom, on the other hand, brings almost nothing new to the table. Sword-using, blue-haired, blue-armored, cape-wearing dude from FE. Really unique.
Also, complaining? I'm simply pointing out that Sakurai wants a diverse roster and having 3 blue-haired men using swords would probably not happen. Lucina, being a woman, merely has a better shot, but is still very unlikely. Sakurai has also already expressed a desire to add more females to the roster. Physical appearances aside, Sakurai probably wouldn't want to have 3 characters from the same franchise that are all swordfighters.
The development team has already decided on the full roster, and aren't going to include/exclude characters based on reactions to a certain reveal at this point. They're not deciding on the roster as they go along, which is something I feel that a lot of people don't understand for some reason. I'm saying there's a bunch of possibilities to think about now that we know Ike is back, considering that Sakurai wanted a diverse roster. Sure, Chrom could be in, but he might not. He really doesn't add anything unique unless he uses lances which is really unlikely.

I hate Heath. Idk what it is, his stats just bother me and he grows pretty damn lopsided. Sure, his offensive stats are good, but dracos with no def are pointless to me - so instead of low def, high res like pegs, you're getting low def, low res. Beautiful. Same with pegs with no res. Use him if he turns out good, though. Also, damn your Florina...
I'll be that guy and recommend Pent. He's amazing and stays amazing.
Canas is another good pick, if he doesn't get RNG screwed. He trivializes bosses with Luna and has the best durability out of your 3 unpromoted mages. A good candidate for the Afa's drops, if you don't already have someone in mind.

Congrats on starting to drive, bud.
When backing up, you have to completely shift your perspective. Think of going forward as pulling the car, but now you are pushing it. A lot of people have trouble reversing so that's something to think about. Helped me a lot when I was learning.
Most important thing is to stay extremely focused. Respect other drivers, i.e. use your blinkers, don't tailgate, be mindful of high beams etc. Basically, treat other cars as people driving them instead of metal objects speeding down a road. Commit to lane changes/going through yellow lights if 1. you're already in motion and 2. you're not in danger. This is all stuff you should remember after you get the hang of operating the car. Also:
Assume everyone else on the road is an idiot.

Gardevoir probably gonna be BL1 - it's got a niche for being the best specially offensive fairy (until that lolFloette is released). Trace makes it (imo) the best Thundurus-T counter, as well. Also, Hyper Voice Mega Gardevoir just seems way too powerful for UU.
I've had a lot of success with a physical Granbull tank. I can see it being UU or at the least RU.

I thought time constraints was the agreed upon reason for their exclusion. I know that at least Mewtwo and Roy had some unused data.
Of these, I only see Dixie and Mewtwo being included in smash 4, because they bring diversity (females and villains) to the roster, as well as being relevant today. Maybe Toon Zelda consiering Wind Waker HD.
I also think that Sakurai learned a lot from making Brawl. From what I've gathered, he did all the game balancing himself (lol), and the production team also cut what looks to be a decent amount of planned content from the game due to time constraints. They did hold off from setting a release date, and have still only announced a time frame. I think that they are going to really include everything they intended to this time, unlike in Brawl. Also, Sakurai actually hired a team to balance the mechanics, which is huge.

Mewtwo being playable in SSB4 (if he's in), for sure. Otherwise, whoever is the next FE newcomer.
As for Brawl, I'd probably send myself a pic of the new stages like Tetra's ship or Spear Pillar.

This means they better bring back Mewtwo if they're willing to reuse older characters like Ike and Lucario!! Still glad they're both in, though.
I think this also means that, with the inclusion of Marth, Chrom won't be in. Too many blue-haired swordsmen. I think Lucina or Lissa or someone will take the FE13 rep instead.
Or, with DLC and Spotpass making a ton of old characters relevant, Micaiah or Celica could even be in now. The roster has seriously been lacking a real magic user (Zelda definitely isn't a real mage), AND it needs a female FE character. There are so many to choose from!!!

Anyway, Nino blows unless you're doing ranked, in which case she's pretty decent. HHM cog of destiny still sucks for her though, as she's 1RKO'd by Bolting users and Valks, regardless of barrier/pure water boosts. And for the staff rank - spamming Heals, then Mends, then Barriers can easily get her to Physic access quickly. Mend is the best staff EXP sink. Her lolCon makes her take -6 from Elfire after promotion...no thanks.
She shouldn't be hurting the tactics rank too much if at all, either way.

I think it's bizarre that people don't accept/understand bisexuality. Frankly, it's strange that sexuality in general is even such a big deal to begin with.
It's not like every single gay person wants to have sex with everybody of their same gender, or a bisexual person always wants to have sex with everyone all the time - that's really abnormal. I don't know where those assumptions came from, or if there really are people that believe stupid shit like that. The majority of people out there are normal human beings that have normal sexual cravings and other, normal stuff going on in their lives that has nothing to do with sex, like school, and hobbies, and families and pets. Crazy, right?
And for those who think it's a choice - let's be honest, nobody is consciously making a choice to be attracted to certain genders. That's as absurd as someone being like "I'll choose to like bananas today instead of pineapples" or "Today I'll choose to enjoy the smell of freshly mowed grass." Biological instincts and senses don't come with on/off mechanisms. Ask yourself if you ever "chose" to be attracted to men or women. No? Yeah.
Honestly, it's really, really strange to me that so many people have trouble understanding such basic things. My mentality is that nobody should be giving so many fucks about trivial things like other people's sexualities, and rather just enjoy their own lives - regardless of whomever or whatever they are attracted to or their neighbors are attracted to. There's so much good in life to enjoy instead of foaming about someone else's sexuality.

They need to keep RD Ike's theme, and Crimean Sortie. They can drop the others, as they're kind of weak, aside from the medley and the Dark Knight.
I want Hector's midgame map theme from FE7 so bad. Most lategame map themes are really good too though - FE6, FE7, (FE9&10), FE11&12...
Aside from FE, Pokemon X&Y have some good tracks. Obviously Lumiose City should be in. I hope some Black/White 2 music gets in, too, like the Colress battle.

I love it. Chromatics and minor 7ths are always what get me. Also the clutch bass player!! This is sweet, can't wait for the finished product.
Maybe throw in a neapolitan cadence or a phrygian half-cadence - flat 2s in all contexts are awesome.

I've become attached to all genres except for country. All the bands I've ever listened to have really been diverse with no real correlation to how old I was.
In no order: Sugar Ray, Gold Motel, Muse, Streetlight Manifesto, deadmau5, Weezer, Amy Winehouse, Dash Berlin, Young the Giant, Armin van Buuren, Lupe Fiasco, Panic! at the Disco, LMFAO, Less Than Jake, Fun, some Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Lady Gaga, The Eagles, The Neighbourhood.
Classical composers get their own special mention - Rachmaninoff (#1!!!), Scriabin, Chopin. So much variety within these 3 (despite all being romantic/post-romantic). More people need to hear Rachmaninoff's second and third piano concertos.

Well, I can offer pokegenning to people. Wifi at college blocks third-party interaction, but the GTS goes through, so we'd have to use that until I come home for the summer (about mid May)

I think having a peg knight bring their squad in like Latios and Latias would be amazing, except it can't be Cordelia because of spoilers.
I voted Lissa cuz having a healer restore your percentage would be pretty awesome and unique. I think Tiki might be it though since they already have a 3D model of her for her trophy.
