Hello SF and welcome to my gallery! It is currently overloaded with empty space, and I will try really hard to fill in the holes with quality content, hopefully. I'll mainly post custom maps, at different stages of completion, all for the sake of godsend feedback. And when I get over my fear of spriting, there'll be some portraits too. This is also a showcase for my hack, meaning contributions made by other people may find their place here, provided that they allowed me to in the first place. Maps

Well, it would be convenient if Ephidel had been created in a reasonably close time period as he is an interesting character. I like to think that it would be easier for complex morphs (Ephidel and Sonia mostly) to emulate emotions and personalities that were close to their own in their pre-morph life. I think you might be true about restrictions (or lack of). I can also cite the butterfly effect to justify anything that happened in the last 500 years or so of Fire Emblem history, but that would be cheap. As for maps, I have my *very* rough draft for the prologue map, how can I convert it so it's ready to upload as an image?

Hold on! Nergal himself says that he uses the quintessence he harvested from people to make his morphs, and they end up looking likethose people. Remember the final chapter? So even if I can't have Limstella or Sonia included, seeing how they were both created hundreds of years ago, they never say when Ephidel was created. I can have a human Ephidel if I want to and have thought about it. Nothing in mind for him at this point though. *spoiler*But little Denning will be there for sure*/endspoiler. As for Darin, no matter the game or twist it takes Laus will always end up the treacherous, cowardly bastard so...yeah. You know what to expect of him. It'll all play how he does it . I went through all the canon characters over the last month, determining who would be interesting to have and who wouldn't. And with that, I'll get started with the prologue map. Okay, I'm back on business with a more structured approach and about as much experience as a month ago. But still! The big question now is: Who do you want to see in this game? Which characters I thought nobody would miss you believe MUST be part of the Reed brothers epic adventure? I've already discarded a dozen or so PC's I got a good excuse to get rid of, now that Nergal's out of the way.

This is a joke right? I wouldn't see the point of this hack without any events. Anyways, on to watching Arch's magic at work . Thanks for the link! EDIT: That looks quite easy explained like he did, except for those columns of numbers. I'll have to thank Arch for that. EDIT2:I'm doing a list of all the characters of FE7 (allies and enemies) to see who will be appearing during the course of the story. If you want to see a specific character given a pc spot or whatelse, now's the time to say it. Thanks for the answer guys! 255 you say...and expandable. I guess I'll be fine . I've started to read Blazer's Ultimate Tutorial and have downloaded the utilities a couple of days ago. First thing I do is try my hand at spriting. And figure out new Fangs to add to the lot. Any canon characters you'd like to see? I read Roartz and Arcard's profiles on FE wikia. Updated post! How many characters can we have in total, enemies, and others included? I'm talking about in-game characters and portraits, or portraits alone. Is it even relevant?

Played up to Ch. 3 so far and it's a lot of fun so far. Very Fire Emblem-ish in dialogues and I love the maps, especially Ch. 2. Will recommend to others. Take care, Black.

I just got an idea myself for dear Uncle Jan, and while I was eating, a bunch of ideas popped up for the main plot and overall development of Elibe throughout the story. An update on that tonight.

-Uncle Jan: Not sure...He's not the most interesting guys out there. I'll think about it. -Ninian and Nils: Not. As Acacia said, it was Nergal's doing. -Nino's family: I'll probably add her brother Kai, and her parents as green units(?) with a chapter or two dedicated to them. -Maybe I'll add him (Teodor) but revamped/reskinned and all the like. -Aion: Meh...I'll give him a boss spot...maybe? I want to develop the Black Fang member's relationship as they were before Nergal switched them from ''People's fist'' to ''Evil's little playing toy''. I will mention the existence of the Lycian lords at some point but they won't be a main concern of the story whatsoever. Thanks for your support! Sincerely, Black

Comments likes that one motivate me even more . Look for FE7: Fang Fiction here on SF for the idea, there's nothing even in progress at this point though. As for playing the older ones, seems like FE4 has the love of the community, while I must play FE6 because it's directly related to FE7. Fanart is from google( technically it isn't but I got a little lazy here) --> Lloyd Fire Emblem *scroll down a bit and there it is. I cropped it so it could fit in avatar size and not much else.

That's what I like about an alt story: I can have Canas's brother not entirely engulfed in darkness yet, which may prove to be an interesting plot twist. I think there's something to do with Aesha, and we get the opportunity to expand on the canon story. Thanks for your feedback. I think it fits the story pretty well, but I am the most biased person in this situation so... ____________________________________________ 2.Introduction First of all, it should be said that I am a novice hacker with a love for the Fire Emblem universe and stories in pretty much every format you can find. And so I thought I should make my own contribution to the hacking community, I'm expecting a lot of fun out of this and it'll prove to be a great learning experience and help me further my writing skills without a doubt. While I am slow on updates at the moment, and haven't done anything other than write down ideas in the last month, I am set on bringing it up to at least chapter 4, when I'll launch a demo. I'm doing this as part of a year-long school project which I will hopefully complete in time. I still don't know if it's realistic to do that by April, considering I'll be asking for help with portraits, animations and such. Custom maps, alternate story and lots of work! 3. Q) Does this hack feature Eliwood, Hector and/or Lyn? A) Yes, Eliwood and Hector will be part of the story, as NPC's with a medium impact on how the events will play out. As for Lyn, the tactician was the reason why she left Sacae. Heck! She wouldn't even notice the bandit outside her tent, as noted by Paperblade in his Let's Play . So I'm not sure about her, and her value, storyline wise. 4. Q) Does it feature any other playable characters from the original game? A) Yes, although I'll be making some room for new characters for the sake of enjoyment and novelty, I'll try to include many canon characters to the cast, following common sense of course. 5. Q) Wait, wait,wait! If Nergal's not in this, how come Nino's here? Thanks! As for the story, I think I'll be able to manage. It's the actual mechanics that scares me most . Thank you very much! From what I can see, Those pre-GBA games are pretty popular around here. The art kind of turned me off when I saw character pics. Oh well, they say not to judge a book by its cover, right? I'm sure I'll do! I guess I'll have to . Hehe . *Youth sure is great..* No worries about that, we all agree that Ranulf is awesome anyway. I don't plan to leave but who knows what may happen? But let's not think about that and more about Lloyd , which is also an all-game favorite alongside Jak (PS2) and Garrus (Mass Effect). That's why my planned hack will certainly feature him as a prominent character (BTW, I'm doing an alternate story with some characters we all know. I have seen that some people don't hold Lyn nor Eliwood in high esteem.) I played Blazing Sword, Sacred Stones, PoR and Radiant Dawn. RD had a pretty thorough story. (I honestly didn't see your welcome to serenes forest forums until after my 3rd read, maybe was it not big enough? I'll savor it Ducky (is that your nick around here?) Hello SF! This is it! After years of Fire Emblem enjoyment (I have only played North American released titles yet), I feel the need to make my own contribution to the fanbase, simply by being there or by gaining some hacking knowledge on the way. I want to create my custom story in the FE7 setting but we'll have to wait and see how it turns out in the next weeks. As for the actual introduction, BlackSoulou's the username I use everywhere on the net (Youtube, games, forums,etc) but only Black is fine by me. I love stories more than anything else, be it games, novels, mangas, name it. I also like to talk about various subject with anonymous people on the forum, while not being much of an IRC dweller. Ethics, games, books or basically any subject may turn to be an interesting talk with the right person. Also, being 16 years old, I don't mind working with the old guys here at all if it means I'll get more experience and some fun along the way .
