I think you're missing my point. Yes, I am sure Hanneman would be interested in seeing it and I'm not surprised it's project-able since we've seen Edelgard doing it. The point I was trying to make is that if this was only to show it to him they could have just kept it part of a conversation scene, like
"Can you try projecting your crest?"
>>Project crest
"Magnificent! Let's dissect--er, discuss things further."
But that's not all that's happening here. You can see the calendar, the map, etc. on the screen when those have always been hidden during conversations, so they're actually giving you some kind of "Press A to use crest"-ability in the overworld. Even if this specific scene turns out to just be showing it to Hanneman, there's little reason for making it an overworld action unless you can do it elsewhere at some point, and in that case I'm curious what that might mean.
Maybe the monastery will have secret passages, and the further into the game you are, the more you can use the power of your crest to open them up (a la Dragon Veins).

Any speculation on what the purple bar is at the top of this image?

We have my seen any Pegasi either, but we believe them to be for sure because of the Flying Professor Skill. I'm 100% sure Wyverns are here we just haven't seen then yet.
We see pegasus in the first trailer.

This is coming from a leak but there will be wyverns and apparently one of the three lords will become one.
It's from a purported leak.
(Actually, them being adamant about said lord having a Wyvern was one of the things that made me start to doubt their veracity.)
Edit: I'll stress that this isn't me saying that I don't want Wyverns or Griffons. I very much do. Especially after that screenshot of Lorenz as a Cavalier; that shaggy horse looks amazing, and I can't wait to see other creatures in this art style. I'm just worried because I find it odd we haven't seen any sign of them so far.

Prediction/worry: I don't think there'll be Wyverns in this game. Or Griffons. I think Fliers will only be on Pegasus.

It was from the April 25th Famitsu screenshots:

Maybe once you factor in weapon weight it could be advantageous? We know Iron Swords have a weight of 5, and Steel Swords 10. That's somewhat significant.

We did see in the direct footage that when Petra gains experience she also gains "class mastery". I believe it was @cysx who theorised that this is how classes gain skills.
//
On ResetEra I saw someone make an offhand comment that they thought it was cool that... well, actually, I'll quote them:
"Also I like that you can't just equip any weapon, but you need to assign that Weapon Skill to your Skill list to augment your current Class. I'm going to assume that you don't need to assign say your Axe Skill when you're a Brigand and it automatically lets you use axes, but if you want to use Swords you'll need to equip your Sword skill. While 5 slots is a lot, it's still much less than the total number of skills." -Enduin
Was this info in the Famitsu article and I missed it, or are they interpreting things differently than anyone else? I like that idea, if it is true.

Dimitri: This is conjecture, but I'll assume he has a preference for Lances, Swords, and Authority. He's clearly our lance lord of the trio, and all of the lords being good with swords along with another weapon is a theory that's been going around for a while. If he too has a base D in a movement type I'd guess Cavalry since his nation is very Knight focused. He'd probably go with a standard Paladin, as that seems to fit his characterisation and the lore we have so far.
In one of the previous Famitsu screens we could see that at level 2 (so... beginning of the game, one assumes?) he has a D+ in Lances, D in Authority, E+ in Swords, and E elsewise.
We aren't shown Riding/Flying/Armour when buying weapons, so maybe he'll have a D there too? Maybe it'll end up being:
- Edelgard: D+ in Axes, D in Authority, D in Armour, E+ in Swords
- Dimitri: D+ in Lances, D in Authority, D in Riding, E+ in Swords
- Claude: D+ in Bows, D in Authority, D in Flying, E+ in Swords

I don't think they're going for this, but it would be neat if wielding magic in general was tied to singing. Opera for the Reason based tomes, choir for Faith.
(Though that sounds more Tokyo Mirage Sessions...)

I had a thought. All of the students introduced so far have surnames, whether they're commoners or nobles. Several of the nobles have 'von' between their names but strangely Dimitri and Lorentz do not have this, instead they have middle names. I wonder why that is. It's not specific to a single country.
The "of" in the middle is considered part of the surname (von, van, De-, Di-, Mc-, Mac-).

Quick comment: some had speculated that the order of reveals for the Black Eagles might follow the below Famitsu screenshot's ordering of characters. We now know they're doing their own thing.

Not that I have a problem with fan service...but the characters don’t have to show a lot of their skin to be considered as fan service. Even then, in addition to her cleavage, her dress’ cut goes up to her thighs on both sides. Put her design with the fact that she’s a teacher, doctor, performer that is looking for a right man, that’s like multiple fantasies rolled into one. I feel like IS is trying to create characters that are balanced between being fan service and being ‘classy’.
Yeah, for me "fan service" depends a lot on context. Where and who are the characters written to be, and is how they are presented appropriate to that?
If there was a grand ball at the end of the second act, and Manuela rolled out in that dress: bravo!
Day-to-day teaching, and battlefield attire... well, she's not entirely outside the realms of anime logic. Quite noticeably pushing the edge of it (and I can see why people are commenting on it) but personally not what I'd consider fan service in the way Camilla was. (Though that might be effected by, as you say, her "classiness", and by the fact that Camilla was more my type.)

Lorenz as a Cavalier has some purple about him, Raphael's Brawler is golden hued, and Hilda's Brigand is noticeably pink (compared to the red we saw with Edelgard). So fingers crossed.
