Moonlit Knight's Achievements

  1. It is my understanding that each member of your army gets 1,000 gold per castle you save at the end of each chapter. And since there are three castles to seize in Ch. 3, I assume that you normally get 3,000 gold at the end of the chapter. However, my army only got 2,000 gold. Is there anything specific about Chapter 3 (maybe storywise, or does Orgahill not count as a "castle") that would cause this? Or did something screw up somewhere? (The enemies not so much as sniffed the blue castles, so no, they didn't get taken or anything like that.) I can do without the gold - I'm mainly asking because this is a ranked run, so I just want to make sure that the game didn't glitch and somehow think I lost a castle (and destroy my rank) when I didn't.
  2. So, switching the question up a bit, how would you rank the Emblems? For me, Corrin is at the top in S tier. Putting aside combat, the late maps have an unauthorized amount of miasma such that she is practically mandatory in a way the other emblems aren't. Then you add in Draconic Hex, Pair Up, and the other uses of Dragon Vein, and wow.
  3. Also, I reclassed Alfred to a Great Knight, and I noticed an immediate improvement (though still not really up there). So it may just be his Noble/Avenir prof class being wonky.
  4. Yes, I've noticed that skirmishes on the Paralogue maps don't seem to scale in levels - skirmishes on Jean's tea village map for instance have had early game-level enemies all the way to the end. So there might be the randomly determined silver-lining.
  5. They are paralogues that are related to the Emblems (one for each Emblem) that are throwbacks to certain special maps for each former lord. E.g. Lucina's paralogue is the Ferox Arena map; Micaiah's is Chapter 3-13 of Radiant Dawn (the infamous defend map), etc. What you saw was Ike's paralogue.
  6. Played through normal, and I genuinely don't know how you would be able to do Chapter 17 on harder difficulties. Wow.
  7. On normal, in the endgame. Best - I have yet to encounter a problem that can't be solved by throwing Diamant at it, especially paired with Leif. Ivy, Rosado, Chloe, and Merrin are also standouts. Worst - I haven't used Etie, Jean, Clanne, Anna, Lapis, or Citrinne since the start, so I guess that counts? Disappointing - All but two of my time rewinds were because Alfred isn't nearly as durable as I keep thinking he is, and he isn't really keeping up (the other two were just because Chapter 17 is . . . fun). It also feels like I'm constantly babying Alear so that he can stay relevant. I also agree with the sentiment that it feels like the opposite of the standard Fire Emblem unit curve - it feels like the units you recruit keep getting better the later in the game you go. Even with the extra investment you give them, nearly all of the early units apart from Celine and her crew have been outclassed by later-recruited ones.
  8. Please tell me I'm not the only one who just now realized that the move-again cavalry skill probably should have been "Canter" and not "Canto" this whooooole time.
  9. On that note, do we know what skills like Dex, Luck, and Charm actually do in this game? And do we have any of the basic calculations for things like crit rate?
  10. - Weapon stats are finished except I need to add training weapons back in now that we know that they are actually obtainable - Weapon attributes should be complete now in terms of game descriptions (I know there is ongoing experimentation to understand what "slight," "moderately," and "greatly" actually mean). -I also put a big dent in the achievements (including some notes on things like where to obtain the relics)
  11. Besides the differences in the other two routes aren't nearly as drastic as the split in Scarlet Blaze.
  12. So, I made a mistake. From what I now understand, it appears that you have to recruit Byleth & Jeralt in a play through first (to unlock Arval in NG+) and THEN fail to recruit them (which sucks because you either have to wait for your fourth play through or miss a Relic and story).
  13. To get the paralogue, you need to Blutgang is the reward for S-ranking Ch.16 in Golden Wildfire.
  14. Thank you for the info! Makes perfect sense. I guess the only thing left to tie down is whether Jeralt still needs to be alive by that point (but given that she calls you a murderer in the alt lines, I would guess that the only requirement is that you recruit him?).
  15. Weapon Attributes are pretty much done. Do we have any indication what 'slight,' 'moderate,' and 'greatly' mean for all these boosts? Inquisitive min-maxers would like to know. Also started on Achievements. Was a bit hazy on where I obtained some of the Relics, and it appears that some of them can be obtained more than one way, so feel free to mention any errors. (Also weird how they missed some of the Relics for the achievements? Excluding Aymr and the Dark Creator sword is understandable; excluding Vajra-Mushti is not.)
