Everyone I know who don't play fire emblem and barely has an idea of what the hell fire emblem is usually more familiar with advance wars and final fantasy tactics advance, others say fire emblem should be an rts, but it is not so it sucks

...How the fuck do I evolve by the FUCKING BELL TOWER? Are you soloing with that Pokemon? Anyway, teh Pidgeotto just uses Roost after you hit it with a good move. Then when you don't attack, it whittles you down on its own. Owned.
yes I solo with that pokémon, you got a problem with that? and I have already beaten that gym leader, maybe it's just me being too good for beating a pokémon at level 13

yes, maybe if you plan to use 6 pokémons even before facing bugsy, the experience you get from the random trainers and the bellsprout tower should be enough to get your pokèmon to any good that could face the "terribly strong pidgeotto w/ roost"

level 13 pidgeotto is still pretty crappy since by the time you visit falkner's gym you should have your starter already promoted
