It's scary at first, but you get used to it

I admit, I'm a bit worried... Ain't either the sharpest tool nor the most responsible one.

Definitely a great opportunity to learn, though!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Good luck at college, it really is a different experience

Thank you! I look forward to drowning beneath paperwork and music.

...And also rain, because I'm moving from a desert to a rainforest.

If I sing any bossa novas while I'm at school, I'll dedicate them to you

    I'm afraid not

Thanks, Dad! It's my first time going to Ottawa, so I'll have to let you know if it's nice there.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a behemoth and can readily devour most of a day

Yeah, some of my mateys went there.

I think they only looked at the nude paintings, though...

quite possibly the best museum experience I've ever had.😊

Nice! We ended up walkin' all around Central Park before going to some Deutsche mall thingy for dinner. Next we saw Wynton Marsalis' band for a latin music concert, and it was terrific! There was a Colombian dude who was insanely good on the harp (something I never thought I'd say), and a suite from a pianist that featured a bunch of dancers.

Make sure to go to the top of the Empire State Building.

I don't think I'll get a chance to, but I will say hi to Olympus up there if I do!

Yup! My plan is to get some pokemon plushies while I'm there. Not sure which ones, though...

doubt you have time or perhaps pocket cash to go into any of them.

Sadly not... We are headed to the National Jazz museum soon, but that's all we have time for. There are so many museums here I'd want to visit if I came back...

    I bet that's Morshu's favorite.

Your plans are probably already set in stone, but I've been there a few times before. I'm no travel guide, but I could perhaps offer a modicum of useful information.

Thanks for the offer! We do get a lil' free time to spend in Rockefeller Centre, Central Park, and Times Square, but that's about it.
