  1. Oh yeah I forgot the ">8]".

  2. probably better than mine lol
  3. I am the best in Brawl.

  4. Yeah thats what I thought^^. KALLL you're nowhere near enough close to the level of play where you can judge peoples skill who are far better than you :) Shhh kid. First learn to play, then judge others.
  5. lol mmKALLL sucked. Is he like the best player on this forum? I hope not. Lol I 3-stock him anyday :)
  6. Fox's Up-smash is goodlike. It saves him from alot. He gets early kills with it and it can be comboed from certain moves. F-smash is pretty situational and its usually not considered to be very safe. It's an okay smash attack to use as a mix-up. Even slightly overusing it will get you punished, the hard way. Down smash is great. It's fast and can be used to finish combos. The way how it sends ppl flying can also get you a surprise kill. It also works as an edgeguarder. Okay, there's his smashes in a nutshell. KALLL, the thing with Japan is, that their stagelist favour heavily characters like Fox, IC and Pit. But thats not the only reason for their placement. Have you noticed how terrible low Pikachu is on that list? Pikachu is the character who counters Fox harder than any other characters do. There doesn't seem to be any notable Pikachu players in Japan, thus leading to him not having any success. The success of a character is one of the most important factors to consider when making a tier list. I believe that one of the main reasons for Fox's high placement is the lack of good Pikachus countering him. Although ironically, IC is at 2nd spot. ICs also counter Fox. I would guess that 9Bs great success in West Japanese tournaments has led to ICs being at 2nd spot. Dunno how much it really matters, but learning Pikachu and the D-throw CG is easier than learning to play ICs and their CGs. Pikachu is still pretty hard tho. Trust me, I've gone into that shit.
  7. It might seem hard to punish thunder spamming Pikachus. It actually IS hard in low levels of play. I remember raging about it back in the day. If Pikachu uses thunder you only got 4 FRAMES time to punish him before he kan do another action (such as shield/spotdodge). That is 4/60 of a second. Honestly, the best way is to not get above him and shoot any projectiles or items at him, if your characters has these. You could also experiment with the range and stay close to him and wait for the thunder animation to end. Once it ends, use any of your long range attacks. Shieldgrabbing is not an option, trust me. Atleast not yet. Learn to do basic punishings before you start shield grabbing it.
  8. Im sorry but I cant tell if you're being sarcastic or just plain stupid. You dont seem to know the meaning of the word tactic. I dont know where you're from but let me say this. English is not my first language (actually my third) and even I seem to know better than you do. Spamming arrows is a tactic. It's not very original and its pretty simple, but yes, it is a tactic. Deal with it. Or fuck off.
  9. Unless you're Leon or Mr. R or someone better than me, you're probably not better than me.

Logic? Of course, if I were Inui. But I'm not Inui, so there's no logic involved.

Will I be seeing you in Apex.. I think I'll have enough money by 2016? Money match me at Apex 2016 :awesome:

  10. Yes, even if its mindless its still a tactic. A very noobish one, yes, but still a tactic in the meaning of that word. This forum is funny. KALLL we should play.
  11. That is a secret which I will not share with you. You'll have to earn my trust. I am also better than you in Brawl. Get raped son.

  12. k

So what is your nick on smashboards/tournaments?

  13. I would like to hear more reasoning from your part about why you think so (or you could quote some of his posts). After being the one who stalked these boards for while, I have yet to notice anything similar to the things that you stated about him. In the end, match-ups and tier list positions do not matter THAT MUCH. Yes, the tier list is the most accurate depiction of the ranking of the characters and I fully support it as long as the makers of it are knowledgeable enough to be in that position. And no, I am not one of those "tiers R 4 QUEERS" ignorant type of fools. What I want to say is that when using a character, what matters more than their placement in the tier list is YOUR ability to use the character to its fullest and overcome bad match ups. Just as an example, Fow recently won a major Californian tournament using Ness (a characters that once used to be worse than Lucas). He beat present top level players such as DEFH, Tyrant and Tearbear who are all supposed to be experienced with the match up. You also shouldn't be looking blindly at the tierlist when comparing characters due to the fact that tierlists change over time. Hell, who knows if some really talented player starts using Sheik (Izaw ain't that good) and makes her move to the top of middle tier. A character like Shiek has lots of potential that only a few good players have exploited close to the fullest. Characters like ZSS, Fox and Wolf have had this happen during the history of competitive Brawl. So yeah, I'll go to sleep now since its almost 5 AM over here and I just felt like writing stuff here at these boards. I dont exactly know what KALLLucas has been talking about but I doubt that he doesn't consider tierlists or MUs to matter as much as what they actually do.
  14. Actually, I do consider repeated use of Pits arrows to be tactic. I also consider your statement to be wrong. The word tactic is mostly defined by the following ways: "An expedient for achieving a goal; a maneuver." "a method of employing forces in combat" "a way of doing things so as to be at an advantage." So yes, spamming Pits arrows is a tactic/maneuver which can be used. Although it is still a rather poor tactic when considering the fact that most fairly skilled players wont lose the match due to spam. Pits arrows do cause problems to a few characters (mainly slow characters with inferior defensive options that lack a projectile or reflector) and hinders their ablilities to fight back. Playing a hit-and-run game and spamming arrows is Pits safest tactic/option in certain match ups.
