Yellow Picked up the Bike Voucher and made my way back to Cerulean City. Went east and beat up a bunch of trainers. Evolved Geodude, and evolved him with Blue's help when I got to the Pokemon Center. Tanked through Rock Tunnel. Mew's a boss. Made it through and went to Celadon. Got Eevee and evolved it to Vaporeon. Went west and caught a Doduo. Received HM02. Bought a Fresh Water for later. Erika's gym was a trip. Not having a dedicated anti-grass in Gen 1 does not seem all that smart right now. I guess Doduo could have done the trick in retrospect but, oh well. Erika: Mew took out everything except Gloom, and did a big number on him too. Mankey finished him off. Badge get. Yellow - 61 Silver Caught Yanma. Finally cleared Sprout Tower and taught Flash to Oddish. Caught Poliwhirl in the waters of Violet. Entered Dark CAve and caught Golbat, Wobbuffet, and Dunsparce. Had Sigurd solo the Mahogany Town Team Rocket Base. Ampharos soloed the better part of the gym except Pryce's Piloswine, which Sigurd dealt with. Badge get. Silver - 98 Gold Caught Yanma and Pidgey (for Fly). Fly to Ecruteak and went east to Mahogany. Went north and caught the Red Gyarados for HM Slave Labor. Stormed Team ROcket's hideout and Sudowoodo and Quilava destroyed the place. Meant to catch am Electrode, but missed that chance. Pryce's gym was a joke when you consider that Quilava + Lanturn = win. Throw in Sudowoodo for laughs, and the entire place fainted. Pryce: Led off with Sudowoodo. Rock Slide was met with Rest the next turn. Two Thunder Punchs and a Low Kick finished the Seel. Piloswine was Rockslide'd for a third of his HP, and dealt back two thirds to Sudowoodo with Blizzard. Switch to Quilava for Flame Wheels. Hit with Blizzard on the switch. A single Flame Wheel did the trick. Switch back to Sudowoodo for Dewgong because there is no Water type moves to worry about. Aurora Beam takes Sudo to 12 HP but Rock SLide OHKO's. Badge get. Elm calls, but I cannot be bothered by that now. Gold - 93

Sylvia - Dancer. Claude - Reserve and such, hopefully he does not slow Sylvia down too much. Tiltyu - *grumblegrumblecantbossabuseyouupgrumblegrumble* Celice - See Sigurd. Oifaye -He'll help I'm sure Yuria - Without Rezire, less helpful than usual, but she'll bomb Yulius. Arthur - Holsety on wheels. Johalva - He's alright. Daisy - Money to Arthur, money to Corple, etc. Leen - Dancer. Tinny - Hopefully promote for Warp/Return shenanigans. Hawk - Warp/Return shenanigans with Tinny. Yeah, but of those Pokemon... Sentret - Would be helpful, but I am stuck to playing in the morning and at night because I work ten hours a day. I guess I want to experiment, because most of my runs are "Totodile smash, Totodile kill!" If it means powerleveling Chikorita at times, well fine. Also, I am moving this weekend. As such, I do not know when I will have internet again. If my turn comes up before tomorrow morning (EST, so 24 hours from now), I will pick someone. If not, I will probably not be on until Wednesday or Thursday, so whoever is before or after me, feel free to pick whoever, as long as they are in Gold. Thank you.

Started. I am crazy like that. Playing on Gold, by the way, for those of you keeping track. Named my guy "bobflac" cause I wanted to. Set the day and time, and off I go. Took Chikorita. Yeah. Corsola and Chikorita! Can I make this run any harder? Time will tell. (All signs point to yes.) Went straight to Cherrygrove, annihilating two Hoothoots. Not stopping to grind. Nope. I am crazy! Ignored the Town Map, because everyone knows what Johto looks like. Head north to Mr Pokemon (what a silly name. Mr Pokemon. I bet he was made fun of in grade school) I fight a Rattata and gain a level. I fight a Hoothoot and gain another level. Enter a house in the middle of nowhere to find a couple of nerds yukking it up about "Pokemon this, Pokemon that. Oh my goodness, you look like a great trainer with that level 7 Chikorita. Have a brand new $200000 Pokedex. It's yours free! Oh, and have this priceless Pokemon egg that no one in the last few centuries has EVER seen before!" Got a call from Elm. There's an emergency. Timmy fell down the well! And while everyone was distracted with that, a Pokemon got stolen! Oh noes! Got back to town, healed up, and proceeded east. Wait, who are you? You look like you stole a Pokemon from some helpless old man? A Cyndaquil! Those Pokemon are too awesome for the likes of you! Let's battle! Did not even use my Berry. He very cleary said that his name was ???, so I shall respect that and report his name as such to the police. After all, if I knowingly give the wrong name, I am aiding a criminal. And that would make me a criminal. And I'm no criminal. So I do the right thing and name him ???. Also, a lady says that it is scary to jump off ledges. Not when you're ten! You're indestructible! A Bellyzard could Earthquake all around you, but you would be fine! You're Pokemon would faint three times over! but you would be fine. And with that, my sidetracking log update comes to an end. You should totally go get yourself a Corsola. They are sooooo awesome. Or... you could be smart (unlike me) and pick almost anything else. How about Onix? I do not hear much about him too often. But late nonexistant evolution would hurt alot. Hmm. Not alot of early game choices. Not that Totodile nor Cyndaquil need it. Zubat is not too bad, and can help with Morty. Tangela comes later, after Pryce I think. Tangrowth can be a beast I hear. There's always Dratini for late game. Suck it up and dominate with Lugia.

Chapter 1 Ardan fought through until the Swordfighter stopped him. Azel was delayed by the swordfighter as well. Sigurd skipped it for now. Ardan bought Noishe's Steel Sword, while Sigurd bought Cuan's Javelin. Turn 1 - SIgurd, Ardan, and Azel moved out. EP - southern army advanced. Turn 2 - Sigurd engaged the enemy. Ardan and Azel continued on their way. Dew and Aideen started their retreat. EP - Everyone save the bows and the sub-boss suicide into Sigurd. Turn 3 - Sigurd kills a guy, advances. EP - Kinbois attacks Ardan, Bows kill themselves using Sigurd, Genoa fighters advance to Sigurd, Ayra heads toward Dew and Aideen. Turn 4 - Azel and Ardan attack a bow. Sigurd attacks the Captain at Genoa, Aideen and Dew move to spots that are out of Ayra's range. EP - Guys kill themselves. Turn 5 - Sigurd killed the Captain and seized Genoa. EP - Guy attacked Aideen. Had to take a penalty because I got sick of experimenting to avoid it and I did not want to restart the chapter. Ayra hightailed it back to Genoa. Turn 6 - Cleared Round 1 of Arena with Sigurd to heal. Headed west, recruiting Ayra along the way. Got Warp Staff. EP - Everyone killed themselves. Turn 7 - Continued west. Moved Ardan between the annoying axefighter and Aideen. EP - Dude attacked Ardan Turn 8 - Azel finished the axefighter. Sigurd moved closer to Mar. EP - Nothing happened Turn 9 - Almost there. EP - Lots of guys died. Turn 10 - Began to kill Gandolf. EP - Almost killed Gandalf. Turn 11 - Seize. Turn 12 - Finished off the arena and headed west. Turn 15 - Engaged the enemy. Had to use a Javelin so that enemies would attack me. Turn 17 - Ran Jamka over. Screw it. I do not need him. Recruited Dierdre. Turn 23 - Silence'd Sandima Turn 26 - Kill Sandima and seize. 26 Turn + 3 Turn Penalty = 29 Turn clear. 13 29 42 Turns

I will admit, perhaps first round was too early (Ok it was definitely too early), but I really had a hankering to try him anyway. So there. Besides, you do not have to deal with him (or her, don't know yet).

Yeah, I am going to say maybe Jynx. If you can not stand her, then Heracross or Girafarig would get my vote. Heracross probably give you more coverage.
