Eireka route then? Eir route also makes Ephraim worse. Dunno 'bout Super Trainees though. They might suck and all, but they require the game to be beaten twice, and I don't know if I have a convenient save lying around. My cartridge recently suffered severe memory loss. :(

Just so you know, high stats are exactly the same. Having 50 Str when enemies have 50 Defense is the same as having 5 Str when enemies have 5 Def. The size of the stats shouldn't even be an issue.

And I'll play through Hard Mode with them. :D No Tower or anything, no Boss Abuse, etc. I might use filler units until they show up though. Also, suggest a route! Units I will not use: Myrhh Units I will use: Trainees Innes Saleh Syrene Marisa Knoll Rennac Dozla Duessell (Eir route prolly) And that's 11 units, which means I'm pretty much set here. Maybe a couple more suggestions... That is all so far. :D

Why are the units stats unoriginal?

HM5 is pretty tricky, at least early game. Early game the enemies will have higher stats than most of your units. Even Jeigan is getting 3-4 rounded. It's GREAT fun.

Yeah, you just need to make the clarification that it is your specific classification. We use ours, because we're pretty sure it's as "pure" as we can get.

The ones that fire salvos of 8 missiles in Air to Air combat. Their splash damage can be quite useful when hunting Overlords.

The last example was a joke. :D What I'm trying to say is that applying the "opinion" thing to a statement doesn't make it impossible to be wrong. For example, saying "It's my opinion that 2+2=5" could be correct. You might believe that. But the opinion itself is wrong. For example, by your own criteria, Nino is a good unit. I can't argue that. By logical deduction, evidence, and statistical reasoning, along with an overall plan, Nino is not a good unit. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if it is "your opinion", AND by your own criteria, state it a little more clearly. Your opinion can be a tricky thing. Also, your criteria lacks internal logic. :P Don't worry too much about what I say though. I've built most of my life around the destruction or strict categorization of beliefs and opinions.

No, they exist very much. They haven't been officially released in English yet. Their is nothing wrong with downloading the ROM and a patch. The patch itself is totally legal, and the ROM is almost a grey area. Technically it's illegal, but it hasn't really been licensed for sale here, so...

Huh? Astrid is GOOD compared to many of the units in PoR. The other PALADINS might be better, but she's still in the upper half of units. That's what I said. Astrid is worse than some of the best units in the game, but she is still better than most of the other units in the game. L'Arachel is more in the middle. And I call her a mediocre unit. Other people call her a bad unit. It's all really semantics. "Bad" unit tends to draw more response, which should mean more argument, more debating, more fun, etc. They're just things we say. :D
