    Anyone notice the large numbers of siblings in this game?

    Actually there are a lot of siblings in Fire Emblem games (and yes, Pandreo and Panette are siblings). Fodlan is the odd one out for having so few.

    • 1, 2, 3/11, 12, 15: Marth and Elice, Lena and Mathhis, Palla, Catria and Est, Michalis, Minerva and Maria, Jubelo and Yuliya, Celica and Conrad, Clive and Clair, Luthier and Delthea
    • 4, 5: Sigurd and Ethlyn, Edain and Brigid, Seliph and Julia, Leif and Altena, Lana/Muirne and Lester/Deimne,  Larcei/Creidne and Scáthach/Dalvin, Diarmuid/Tristan and Nanna/Jeanne, Fee/Hermina and Ced/Hawk, Arthur/Amid and Tine/Linda, Iuchar and Iucharba, Patty/Daisy and Febail/Asaello (and kind of Mareeta), Lene/Laylea and Coirpre/Charlot, Safy and Tina, Deen and Eda

    I'm also of the opinion we're not going to get too many more Emblem Bracelets, probably no more than 5 or 6. I also think they'll try to keep the gender equal representation. So I think Elincia and Azura are sure bets. Elincia can give flying mobility as a Sync Skill, maybe Renewal/Imbue as an Engage Skill, Amiti and maybe the Ashera Staff for weapons, and Stun for the Engage Attack. Azura is a refresher and a lance user so I can see her coming with the Blessed Lance which could provide Monster effectiveness like Celica's Seraphim, but for physical units whose magic stats aren't so great, and maybe the Dual Katana, Inspiring Song for an Engage Skill, maybe she could also use Dragon Vein.
    I also think Alm is a pretty safe bet. For weapons I think he'd come with Luna, Royal Sword, and Falchion, Double Lion as an Engage Skill and Scendscale as an Engage Attack.

    AS for the rest, some combination of Seliph and Julia (I think they'd probably share a bracelet), Eliwood, Hector, Chrom, and Female Robin. Robin would probably work as an all offense mage where Celica and Micaiah are also healers.

    The tweet about staves mentions certain staves (presumably red type offensive ones?) having the ability to hinder enemy movement, including placing obstacles. I feel like Collapse wouldn't manifest itself as an ice tile, so. I wonder...?

    And we have Mauvier for our enemy recruit too

     

    Based on the names, we have 5 Solm characters, so at least one of them probably isn't a retainer (probably Merrin)

    Her name might come from "unakite"
    Yunaka -> ユナカ
    Unakite -> ユナカイト
    (which might even be a pun on "kaito")

    The Relic Byleth gives is dependent on the user's Battle Style.

    Etie was a Swordmaster in the video, and the Failnaught user was Yunaka, so I'm guessing:

    • Dragon units get Aymr
    • Backup units get Blutgang
    • Covert units get Failnaught
    • Flying units get Lúin
    • Mystical units get Thyrsus
    • Qi Adepts get Rafail Gem
