The above assumes that a General has 20+the swordmasters DEF in it's STR stat, enough hit to score two attacks, and then less than 56 HP. As much as I like generals and find Swordmasters overrated, it's not that bad.

Of course, as far as the actual topic goes, I've never really understood why people care if people are hostile toward them. Really, at the end of the day, any attention is good attention in my book. Actually, Rutger was mentioned in the first post along with Lance. I'd also throw Lugh in, if only because he does have a decent affinity and (slow) supports with a few characters that see quite a bit of use. It would be nice if he were a bit better, but considering that Magic users have some of the worst growth totals in the game. . . And HM Gonzales too.

I read it. And while it's a bit. . . Hard to see where the event bite I need would be or how easy it would be to add on to the title, I get the jist. Would you say it's just easier to set off the gaiden chapters then?

Try finding parsers, Nightmare modules, and other various FE editors on the internet. While Arch seems to keep his own secret stash of them out there, it's not an easy task. Mostly because they laid a claim to the items.

The FESS thing was largely a joke. Honestly, aside from the random banning I have, I could care less about their modding style, as I've never really suffered. Hell, if they didn't have a large control(or claim, anyway) over almost everything FE that wasn't made by Nintendo, even that wouldn't bother me.

Well, when I thought it over, the map adding thing seemed a bit easier than I mentally made it out to be at first. If I knew where the map data was(and I'll find it later), I could just copy the data for the chapter, make space in the ROM, copy in the chapter as a place saver of sorts. How do I mess with the pointers that decide what chapter to go to next, and if so, would it be easier to just automatically set off the flags for extra chapters in FE7(since it's the title I'm using) to access those chapters and then adjust those to my needs?

Aside from on the map Storage, which isn't always needed, Merlinus is a wasted spot on the map. Unless I'm missing something. But, if not, the extra character could at least help a bit.
