Was this a Japan-exclusive poll? Cause I'm surprised Timerra & Griss didn't make the top 25. KOEI Tecmo has these polls too with their musou/warriors games, and it really shows that western fans & Japanese fans have different preferences.

A Mage Canoneer sounds like easy pickings for someone like Sombron or Griss. The damage being based on Dex is really interesting though. One would think it'd be from either Str or Mag

Hey everyone! My name is Morphy. I'm a content creator who streams and posts videos. Not advertising or linking anything though if that's against the rules. I don't know if I'd consider myself a new Fire Emblem fan. Back when I was a kid, I'd play Sacred Stones, but I never touched an FE game until 2019 when I bought a Switch just to play Three Houses. Fast forward now, I've played Sacred Stones, Three Houses, Engage, and Fates: Conquest(I also play Heroes and I also played the Three Hopes Warriors Game). Am currently playing the first Fire Emblem (the one that was localized for the Switch), and after that I plan to do the remaining FE Fates games. But yeah, this isn't my first time in this site. Though I'd come here as a guest. I come here to look for Hacks/Fanslations of older Fire Emblems that were exclusively Japanese. I do plan to play every Fire Emblem game! I've fallen in love with FE. I love Fire Emblem for the same reason I grew attached to games like Persona, Mass Effect, or Dragon Age, at first it was because of the social sim/romance aspect - but then I got drawn in by the gameplay and the worlds that these games would build. I'm a huge medieval/fantasy geek too, so that certainly also contributed to my FE addiction. Decided to make an account because I wanted to make friends that also really like Fire Emblem. Forums are honestly a cool space that aren't like social media or discord. I dunno how to explain it, it just is. I've been in a Koei Tecmo Games Forum & in a Pro-Wrestling Forum. The memories I've had there still stick with me to this day, whether it was good or cringeworthy. Am also trying to improve on playing Fire Emblem. One of my goals is to be able to do Ironman runs for every Fire Emblem game. Starting from the easiest difficulties up to the lunatics & maddenings. That is another reason I joined here, it's because maybe I'd learn something from the posts or people here. Aside from Fire Emblem, I'm into the standard nerd stuff. Anime, Video Games, Pro-Wrestling, Series, Movies, D&D (though I've never actually played it). Fave FE game so far: Three Houses Fave character so far: Kagetsu Fave team for Heroes: Archer Chrom, Eirika, Reinhardt, Seiðr Fave map so far: Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest - Chapter 10 (Felt so satisfied that I beat that without losing a single unit in my first try!)
