Love the idea of these two franchises crossing over, it’s practically begging to happen! But we all know Nintendo probably would never do this… The only critique I can think of is that the avatar character kinda doesn’t need to be here since the story is already focused on Link as the main character. The story could begin with him being the squire being instructed by Rusl and going on from there. I guess there has been an avatar character for four games in a row now, it’d be weird if there suddenly wasn’t one? But I suppose you could have a choice between Link and Linkle at the beginning of the game and also name them whatever, thus making Link the avatar character. You can already name Link in some games like Ocarina of Time so it wouldn’t be completely out of the blue. You wouldn’t need Falchion in the story either, since the only purpose it serves is to be a cool weapon for the avatar character. Other than that though, this looks great! I wish Nintendo would actually create something like this, the Legend of Zelda could do with some more spin-off titles in my opinion anyhow.
