  1. This happens even in versions I haven't touched.
  2. I am using FEBuilderGBA, alongside an old translated version of FE6. Whenever I try to "free up space" with the "ROM Rebuild" tool, though, I get this error message: I have no idea what it means. I don't know what "but a child then, so" means, other than that commas can't be in file names. I have no idea what the Number of rows signifies. I can't locate where that text is in-ROM. I only know pain. It froze on here: Please help.
  3. Has anyone delved into the skirmishes or Tempest Trials, to see if it's possible to get random growths on enemies? It's a bit odd that the enemy composition of Skirmishes is very random while their stats are fixed. I've been plotting enemy growth rates on-and-off for a while now, on one save file, for Hard difficulty.
  4. Did you use the newer translation patch as a base? I think that effs supports up completely, by having one of the flags out-of-place. Supports are easier to mess with in the original. EDIT: Story-wise, why on Earth does Zephiel bring Idunn with him anywhere? xD
  5. It's nice to hear that someone else has done a repaletting hack! It was a little weird to see that the newer games hadn't. Then again, though, it seems a lot of the older games didn't do different palettes for bosses. Oh? How did you go about that sort of thing? I just haven't been too sure about what's safe to mess with, and what isn't!
  6. Hi, folks! I've recently taken to messing with FE6 in FEBuilder. So far I've given proper palettes to all the bosses... albeit, on the older translation patch than what everyone else seems to be using nowadays. I've really wanted to add more characters to the game somehow; just minibosses, or editing pre-existing generics that are notably dangerous. I don't know how to expand ROM files, though; the original game has an 8MB cap, the older translation patch has a 16MB cap, and the newer translation patch uses all of the available space up and caps the game at an awkward file size. I've tried chopping my current edits off of a fresh version of the old patch to create a new patch, but there's an issue with the ROM Rebuilding where FEBuilder doesn't recognize Cecilia's conversation at the end of Chapter 8/8x; I have no idea what's up with that. Do any of you have any advice or tips?
  7. Hi! I found a version of this online, and it didn't say what version it was. It WAS prepatched. There was a weird bug where the cutscene at the start of Chapter 2 never progressed to Milady leaving the castle after talking with Ruud, so I had to reset the game and skip the whole cutscene to get to the actual chapter. Which version of the patch does it sound like I'm playing?
