  1. +1 to Kirie! :) Fantastic to do business with and would trade with and buy from in the future again.
  2. Happy Birthday, sorry for being late!

  3. I would love soldiers/halberdiers to return, and, Pirates would be cool, but if they do, there needs to be a Viking class that uses axes and anima magic (if anima magic is split, then definitely thunder and possibly fire). Light magic users need to return, especially bishops (I want my Moulder back. :( ) Barons and Masterknights would be cool, but... I wouldn't get your hopes up. :p Barons would especially be cool because I like bulky magic users, and nothing says tank more than great shield. I hope ballista return, but have archers/snipers be able to use them, so even players can use them. :D I like the weapon choices that RD gave to the mounted units, it gave them a lot of variety. I don't think there are any other "returning" classes that I would like to see, but I have a lot of ideas of my own. :p
  4. I would like to see them return, Nephenee was one of my favorite characters from FE9/10. And having a pure Lance user would be cool. I think the main problem would be how to branch it out from soldier. Because, if there is a soldier (and assuming there are branching classes like awakening) then from Soldier you promote to a Halberdier or a what? The other promotion class would be a hard one to make as a foot soldier with Lances/swords is outclassed by Paladins flat out, a lance/axe user is outclassed by Wyvern Lords, a Lance/staff user is unlikely (don't know what it would be called) and a lance/magic user would also be difficult on foot. Unless they have the class a mount (specifically thinking horse here) and made it into a "Dragoon" or something of that nature, then it would be difficult to make. And I don't see them splitting the tree into Lances only. Up one branch is a definite, but having both branches would be bad, I think.
  5. Hmm.. I never really thought about a customizable personality, at least from the avatar creation standpoint. Perhaps they will do that with more dialogue and more options (options that actually change the story instead of just a couple lines of text changed). But I think that accessories (I want a hair and so I can make Lillina actually look like herself D:< ) and facial hair and the like could add a lot more connectivity I think, just as long as it isn't empty Mary Sue nonsense again. But given the portraits we've seen so far, I would like to think good things are coming! Something I saw in another post was that people were fearing the broken-ness of reclassify into EVERYTHING you want. I am working on a D&D campaign based on FE with friends and a way I remied this (I bring it up because it could technically be customizable) was to limit the classes they picked. So, they started out as trainees, which they chose, and they had to choose one of the T1 classes tha it branched into (so if you picked the Lance trainee, think FE 8 Amelia you could branch into Cavalier, Knight, or Soldier), plus two other base classes of their choosing. Having the tier three option ended up making a LOT of classes (I think there are 133 or so unique classes; from trainee to T3), but each one already has defined the role they wanted because of the "specialization" of limited classes but lots of potential reclassing. Do you think that something like this will be implemented where you pick 5 -7 classes (excluding the special classes) for the avatar, assuming that Kamui is one?
  6. Hey all. I was just doing some thinking, and I thought I would ask all of you. If Kamui is the avatar, (which I peronally think is pointing to more than likely) what level of customization would you guys like to see? I know personally for me, I love things that are customizable, Awakening barely even scratched that potential in my opinion. I would like to see more hair colors; mostly not preset hair colors that are 1-20, but instead a slide type thing or a thing that lets you directly put in the RGB for the shade you want. I was disappointed with how most of the faces (specifically of the avatar and other street/spot pass characters) looked mostly the same. I liked doing the streetpass, I made an FE 6 team out of avatars and built them how I wanted and made them close to what they were, but it became difficult to make some characters because of limited hair and colors. Perhaps there will be more customization? I know I want it. It would be amazing (albeit unrealistic on the system) to have Korean MMO levels of customization. Are there any specific things you all are looking for?
  7. Griffin Rider was a real bad class in Awakening. Weak to Flying and beast, they have no outstanding stats (out of the flying units they are the weakest in terms of stats) they have decent strength and defense, but less than Wyvern lords, a lot less resistance than wyvern lords (which says something), and alright speed and skill. Perhaps if they separated the classes, making Griffin Rider the base class, which promotes into Griffon Knight (Flying Armor? Possibly beast though too, but give it the conquest skill and it's good) a more defensive class with high defense, decent strength and resistance, but lower speed, this class uses swords and either lances and axes. Then the other branch could be Griffin Master, which is much more offensive and either uses swords and magic, axes and magic, or all three )or just swords and axes I suppose, but I would like to see another magic flier.. And on that thought, if a class has "dark" in its name, let the use dark magic. Shadowgift is cool, but having it on a dark flier is pretty lame since they should be able to use dark magic inherently.)
  8. Perhaps it's not unreasonable to say that this is potentially a staff user? If other things from FE 9/10 (Halberdier speculation, I am looking at you) then it could be that hitting opponents with the actual staff could return. The thing that makes me think this most is how little damage was done. Yes, it's reasonable for that amount of damage to be done, but paired with a unit of the same class, who does double the damage, it's somewhat hard to believe. Perhaps this is actuall a torch staff (special staves returning?) which causes the enemy to ignite in such a way unseen before. Just some food for thought. Also, the scene with Marx/Max stabbing the undead makes me think that his blade (or at least the one he uses) does effective damage to monster units. I actually have thought about these things, mainly because I am DMing a D&D session that I made with a friend that's based on Fire Emblem. I created the story, but he helped create the skills, weapons, and classes (a 4 tier system with the little guys (forget what they are called.. Amelia, Ross, and Ewan) up to a third tier of promotions like FE 10). I tried to keep things balanced, but that's not the point, the point is, if I thought of things, then surely IS and other people have too.
