My guess would be this: If the manaketes and taguel are indeed the descendants of the laguz, their abilities could have become diluted through marriage with non-laguz, making them branded. Their only means of transformation becomes their respective stones, possibly a blessing bestowed after the events that occurred in Radiant Dawn.

Maybe you can do one playthrough where you just concentrate on raising your renown to 9999 in order to get the last reward. Then sell that to get enough gold to buy any avatars for your avatar playthrough.

On the page that contains the info for the paralogues, there is incomplete or incorrect information. I am currently only at chapter 14 in the game, but have access from the map to paralogues 5, 6, 7, and 9. Cherche isn't married yet, but I'd wager that I'd gain access to paralogue 11 from the map if she were. It seems to me that map access to these paralogues is an either/or scenario: either you have adjacent paralogues (like I do) or you need to have the chapters listed on the paralogue page to access them. Is my game glitched, or can anyone else confirm this?

Thank you, all, for the welcome! @Eclipse--I homeschool because studies have shown that homeschooled kids typically outperform students from the public school system. My oldest is enrolled in a home-charter program, so we have teachers that assess her abilities. She was reading at a second grade level very shortly after learning her alphabet, so it seems to be working out for her. My youngest is being homeschooled simply because she's too young for school yet. @Macho Barbarian Darros--Yeah, it's Captain America.
