the victory animations for swordmasters/trueblades is different for males and females
female halberdiers have a different animation than males when throwing javelins and spears
if the GMs or CRKs are not holding any weapons, when they appear as other units in 3-10 or enemies in 3-13 they will be holding one of their starting weapons

Ike's ending sucks but if Nintendo and IS wanted to, they could easily put Ike in the next/future FE games. I wouldn't be surprised if he does appear on a new continent, even if it's just a cameo

Epic Win: Stefan with Killing Edges
my Mist was strength blessed! she had 11 strength as a lv 20 cleric before promoting. that's never happened to me before! no energy drops or bexp abuse either!
my Marcia was also strength blessed
Epic Fail: Stefan activating Astra when he would've killed without it. he still killed with Astra but he wasted some weapon durability. yeah it's not really a fail.
this one is though: Ike doing 3 damage to BK (I ran away cause 4 turns passed and he didn't activate Aether once), 5 damage to Ashnard. It's partly my fault though, I only got him to lv 16 at the end but he was a little strength screwed the whole game
I used up all 3 Ashera staffs. I wanted to use Hammerne on it but I've never used Hammerne in any FE game before so I wasn't sure when to use it. I used the last Ashera staff and the game said it broke and I was like oh crap!

Edward, Leonardo and Jill start with the minimum strength needed to not lose any AS from using their iron weapons.
base level Fiona loses 1 AS from a non-forged iron lance
Gatrie starts 1 HP from his cap (why?)
Ranulf and Skrimir (and Tibarn if you count that one attack) are the only characters that fight Zelgius as Zelgius, not the BK

Thunder tome would probably make the most sense. When I was hacking, I found a few connections between Pelleas and Thunder magic (for instance his Archsage class is labelled ARCHSAGE_T, with the T standing for Thunder).
so maybe he was originally planned to be a thunder archsage but they changed him to dark cause they had no dark playables?
Tibarn and Naesala start with the most/max (6) skills but their capacities are nowhere near full
every non-mounted unit has Shove. when Mist promotes, Shove is replaced with Canto

Epic win - Boyd survived a critical shot from a ballista, and he wasn't fully healed
Epic fail - Mist died in one hit from a ballista. both of these happened on Ch. 24 on the same turn

in the original artworks, most of the beorc characters are pictured with one of their starting weapons.
in Pelleas' OA he's holding what looks like a light tome but he can't use light so it's probably a thunder tome
Calill, Soren, Bastian, Ranulf and Sanaki start with the most weapons/items: 4 each
there are 25 female playable characters. of those 25, 19 are beorc and 6 are laguz.
of the 19 beorc girls:
only 1 has thunder affinity
only 2 can use bows
only 3 can use axes
4 have 8 Con
5 use lances as their primary weapon
6 can use staves
7 can't join the GM/Apostle's army team until part 4
8 start with vulneraries
9 have mounts, Canto and 9 move at 3rd tier
10 don't give a +avoid support bonus
Tibarn's the only character with 10 move without Celerity and/or Boots

I've used her on normal and it was hard and long. she just tagged along, attacking anything that won't kill her, doing pathetic damage so she needs to be fed lots of kills. building up her strike, LOTS of olivi grass and laguz stones, paragon in 3-11 onwards, a little bexp, all that. believe it or not she can actually be good in endgame with laguz gem + Rend + Adept. of course the hardest part is getting her there so good luck to anyone who wants to try it. the way I did it took long but it was a laguz playthrough and 3-11 was a nightmare for me.
or if you don't want to feed her kills, just let her attack so she builds up her strike
I actually didn't give her anything right away. she had to work hard for it lol

ON the boxart ate all the DB members you have in chapter 1-2 besides Laura.
Micaiah and Sothe are in frontand it looks like Micaiah is gonna get one-shotted by a wyvern knight.
Leonardo just got trampled over by a sword cavalier and is falling to the ground.
Nolan is throwing his hand axe at the sword cavalier for revenge.
Edward is rushing into the battle to catch Nolan's hand axe with his face.
Seems like Nolan and Sothe are the only 2 usefull ones just like in the game.
I think Volug is on there too, just to the right of Leo
BoydXMist is the only paired ending where both of the character's endings changes if they have an A support
Ena has wings but she can't fly (maybe Gareth and Nasir can't fly either)
Sothe has the highest Skill growth (80)
Excluding Lehran and BK, Skrimir has the lowest resistance growth and is tied with a bunch of characters for lowest magic growth
Micaiah has the highest resistance growth and ties with Soren for highest magic growth
Volug has the highest HP (tied with Kurth) and Luck growths
Aran and Renning have the highest Defense growths
Aran is tied with Rolf for highest strength growth
Renning has the lowest luck growth that's not 0
Sigrun has the same defense growth as Leanne and Rafiel, all tied for lowest
Makalov has the highest speed growth, Gareth has the lowest (excluding 0 growth rates)

a few of the girls wear heels while fighting (WHY?)
Rolf and Tormod are the only guys that are wearing shorts
Boyd and Sothe are the only guys wearing sleeveless shirts (and maybe Ike too if you don't count his shoulder pad)

Tormod and Oliver are the only magic users with a higher strength growth and lower magic growth
Oliver is the only magic user with a higher defense growth and lower resistance growth
Ilyana has no reunion conversation with Tormod or Muarim in 1-7 while Sothe, Jill and Zihark do
Ilyana also has no conversation with Jill or Tauroneo in 1-5
Ire is the only laguz mastery that doesn't use the unit's strength in damage calculation

also Mist is one of the few physical attacking characters whose MAG growth is greater than her STR growth (also Vika, Ulki and Ena)
Cleric and Valkyrie MAG caps are higher than STR caps even though they do physical damage
Elincia and Ena are the only playable characters whose STR and MAG caps are equal

While that might be possible (actually, I'm doubting it's possible for weapon ranks), it's not the case here.
I don't know what I did, but male Rogues have a base Knife level of C. Well, there are apparently 171 classes in the game data, so it's not unlikely to find the odd typo.

When Mist promotes she gets a brown horse. all the other promoted foot-mounted units (paladins) have white horses
Haar gains a helmet when he promotes. most 2nd tier characters with helmets take them off when they promote
Nephenee is the only character who always wears a helmet
pretty much every 3rd tier class (except maybe Dragonlords) has a cape, jacket, skirt, etc. that blows in the wind

I love this game! just needs support convos, balanced class caps and character stats and growths. everything else is great. or and more availability is needed for most characters. the 3 different teams would be even more awesome if each team had a good amount of time to level up
and earth affinity needs to be toned down. also balance the other affinities more

some FE7 endings:
Eliwood/Ninian - they spent a lot of the game on it so I got used to it
Rebecca/Wil - because I like Wil more than Lowen and their support heats up during B and A. too bad they don't have an ending(omg they do have an ending! awesome!)
Lyn/Rath - dunno, just cause Rath supports with only one girl and he's cool (I don't think they have an ending)(wow they do have an ending)
Hector/Lyn - if she can't go with Rath then I'm ok with her going with Hector
Kent/Fiora - they are perfect for each other. or maybe not. they have the same personality
Dart/Farina - their supports are funny
Sain/Priscilla - cause I like both of them (they don't have an ending? :o that sucks)
kinda off topic, who is Roy's real mother? Lyn, Fiora or Ninian?

everything RD has plus add support conversations, arenas (for those who use them), world map, creature campaign, trial maps, magic weapons.
plus magic users shouldn't counter with staves. if they have another weapon they should counter with that instead
also add tomes that let magic users attack twice like Brave weapons
balance the stats of classes and characters as much as possible
healers need to level up faster
and allow forgable ranged swords and daggers

Ike/Elincia or Ike/Geoffrey, I never thought of which one I like more. honestly I don't think Ike was that interested in her in that way
Boyd/Mist is cool, a little weird but they do get married farther in the future so it's all good, Rolf's not mature enough for Mist anyways
Kieran/Marcia they seem cool together as well. I always support them in FE9
Naesala/Leanne is creepy. he looked after her while she was growing up ever since she was born then he marries her? sounds wrong
Zihark/Ilyana I like them together, if only cause I don't know who else they would be paired with
Rhys/Mia should've been a paired ending. they're really cute together
Haar/Jill no, just no. that reminds me of Richard and Monica from Friends.
that's all for now. I don't think about paired endings that much
I don't support Ike/Soren or Ike/Ranulf either. they're just best friends
