Well apperently its easy at the begginng but later on in the levels, even on normal it gets really challenging. It was funny how long some of those later chapters took, and it wsnt the streamers fault either. Constant reinforcements with enemies that hit like a truck. Lunatic might be easy like all the levels early on but Im betting its gonna be brutal later on, I do like that better than awakenings early levels of lunatic and lunatic plus. Lunatic was more based on skill, and you didnt have to abuse your avatar but lunatic+..pretty much just luck based in the first 5 chapters

I used F-Robin in awakening. I was more excited for the male Kamui than female.

And if those reasons weren't enough, Hoshido isn't lead by the guy who killed your father and makes several attempts to kill you.

I honestly didnt even see those. I muted it after people were completely upset about the choice of Hoshido. There were some really..disturbing things..

The amount of rage in the twitch chat for not choosing nohr. Tbh We've seen alot of nohr gameplay and there was even another chinese streamer streaming the nohr path. Im actually very happy with the choice of Hoshido this time around.

I dont see the point in having two versions if you basically have little to no exclusivity.
You get the second path with a discounted price so I seriously doubt the other royals will be available to you.

Well most games I play as a female but In FE and other main games I start with male first. Plus there are just too many waifus for me

There are soooo many stave users in Hoshido, though. Sakura, Asama, Mikoto if she can indeed be recruited, Felicia, Joker, Orochi, Little Spellcaster Kid (who's name I don't know), Hinoka, Tsubaki, and MU are all confirmed to potentially use Staves just upon promotion, and we don't know half of the cast, or if any characters can be reclassed. We may have many many Tome users in Nohr, yes, but the only thing that changes is that the characters can attack on both defenses in a pinch.
I mean imagine if he didnt get the tome addition? He would be screwed either way. That's what other magic units are for lol
If one unit can do everything but shoot a bow, what's the fun in using other units?

Male(Hoshido) Is definitely going to be Oboro. I know she's going to hate or strongly dislike you since you were raised in Nohr but I know she'll eventually get around and those conversations are going to be adorable!
Female(Hoshido) is gonna be Hinata. I honestly dont like any of the males except for him.
Male(Nohr) Oooh so many choices..Im a sucker for really warped personalities so probably Charlotte or Pireri.

Harold all the way no doubt.Probably Zero or Odin.Then again because we have limited romance options in this game, who knows if Im able to do these.

Anyway yeah, I feel I should clarify (from my post 200 pages ago) it is time travel I have a problem with. The children themselves I am fine with, although it's strange that they did it 2 games in a row. Not sure how I feel about children appearing in every iteration from now on, but whatever. Just no more time travel please.
Its actually very smart and makes sense on their end. Awakening brought in thousands of new fans and the niche of the game? Marriage. More specifically, the children as they were so customizable in a way. Please IS..i know its a pretty much given but please no time travel

Me personally, after playing most of the fire emblem games from the west and playing 400+ hours on awakening, I'm quite happy with the children but the time travel gimmick if this is real and that is back, has got to go.
Though this feature in the game coming after awakening was likely going to happen. I want this to be real but I need a better excuse than generic time travel.

Dat animation is smoother than butter. Wish it could have been anyone else but Treehouse, though. Seriously. She had her force completely divided.
I dont know..that's saying a lot. Im sure you dont wanna see IGN again. That was probably one of the most painful things to watch.

Crimson is not on there, that Noire Dark Mage girl isn't there, and we don't have a male troubadour or female thief.
Fates seems to be going for equal gender representation so there should be male/female equivalents for all classes.
EDIT:
Well, Crimson looks like a woman, but who knows? She/he could be a guy?
I know Tsubaki is in this game but Crimson would have to be one really feminine looking guy then.

There was a character with glasses in the intro video correct? We still know nothing about that guy so Its safe to assume we still dont know all the characters.
As for the the new ones shown, I was so happy to see Setsuna. As for Asama..Im just not digging that hair. It doesn't fit his calm personality either.
Side note, Pieri and Oboros voices..Thank you Nintendo for my daily dose of Kawaii <3
