You can crit, and activate post-battle skills(Galeforce, Lifetaker)
Armsthrift can preserve its uses, but it cannot activate in-battle skills(ie. Astra, Luna, etc.)
I don't have a file in Ch 23 to test if it reaches past the barrier.

His map sucks on Lunatic because of those dumb forges or I just didn't try hard enough for him since I wasn't grinding Olivia.
Severa was easy though, Rescue her into a corner over and over until MU clears the entire castle. And then the family went on to beat the game.
Also I thought Gerome's was harder. I HEARD YOU LIKE WYVERN AMBUSHES.

In my case the characters that get you through Lunatic are the ones I already liked using in Normal/Hard so it made no difference to me
although leaving Inigo for postgame hurt my soul

I like Noire, I don't see her ever brought up in anything. The popularity polls tell me that everyone else I like is also loved by thousands of others :s
I really don't like Lucina though. I think it would've been better if she was actually Marth for shits and giggles.

I believe Gecko OS is outdated and NeoGamma is their new focus. NeoGamma on a homebrew'd Wii basically does everything Gecko OS did, but with more compatibility/options.

iirc I RNG abused some characters but not extreme like 20/20ing everyone (infact I don't think anyone reached 20/20)
