It doesn't matter. In Eidolon battles, the damage you do means nothing. Hell, beating Brynhildr requires a lot of Syn/Rav stuff which doesn't do much damage. The point is that you should always be in Rav/Rav unless you need healing and you should probably use any spell other than Thunder and Sparkstrike (Odin is strong against them but I don't know if it raises the Gestault gauge sl...
