  1. I just moved my data today. Just copy the "Nintendo 3DS" folder to your desktop, then copy it to your new card. It loads up everything like normal. If you want, here are more trustworthy instructions saying the same thing: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/3ds/en_na/ht_settings.jsp?menu=data%20management&submenu=ctr-ht-settings-transfer-data-between-sd I traded cards with my Wii to use the larger one for my 3DS. The Wii data folder is called "private," in case anyone is switching their SD cards around.
  2. Basically, they get all of the classes from their parents that aren't gender specific. Barbarian, Berserker, Fighter, and Warrior are male-only while females get Pegasus Knight, Falcon Knight, Dark Flier, Troubadour, and Valkyrie. Since a son will have his father's classes and a daughter will have her mother's classes, the inheritance to same-gender kids is not as crucial. Also, note that Yarne recieves Barbarian instead of Wyvern Rider from Panne. When it comes to inheritance, make sure to pass down a skill that the kid will not be able to get later (if the parent can and if it's a useful skill to you). Daughters may want Counter if their father has it, and sons want Galeforce (and if unable, then possibly Dual Support+) from their mothers. DLC skills can't be passed down. Chrom's son will inherit Rightful King and his daughters will inherit Aether. Lucina's son Morgan will also inherit Aether. Chrom's non-Lucina kids can pass down anything to Morgan, but should pass down a Lord/Great Lord skill because only Chrom and Lucina can actually be Lords. This page will help: http://www.serenesforest.net/fe13/children.html
  3. Gerome makes me laugh when I hear his grunts and comments because be reminds me of Batman. If I didn't think of him like Batman, he would be a lot less interesting to me.
  4. Everything above is exactly why StreetPass teams are at a disadvantage vs. the player. The player with +10 to +20 (LB + rallies) in every stat plus the pair up stat bonus is going to win because the stat difference will make your skills not matter much. Like Rey said, players with significantly lower stats than you will just forfeit anyways. After accepting the above, I dedicated a playthrough to forming a Lethality team, hoping that luck will save me vs. the strongest of teams, as damage is more unlikely to get a kill. [spoiler=My team] Lethality > Rightful King > Counter > Vengeance > Lucky 7 > Miracle Avatar – xNowi 1. Limit Breaker 2. Lethality 3. Counter 4. Vengeance 5. 5. Non limit broken characters will destroy you with pair up.
  6. Severa will always be my least favorite FE character. If I actually knew her, I wouldn't like her either.
  7. If the tournament seeds were placed so that characters with blowout votes on their quotes faced each other first (and characters that were closer to ties faced each other first, do you think we'd have less blowout votes in the beginning of this tournament like this Lon'qu vs. Tharja one?
  8. One day I may go and finish up all of the A supports I can on my file, but I'd rather just read the S supports than go through the hassle of all of the father supports and Morgans.
  9. I think that a lot of the comparable characters between the games lose to the Awakening ones in terms of deep/complex because there are so many supports in this game as well as several marriage options and sometimes a kid. I wonder how the other FE forums view Serenes.
  10. Be as active as you want to be. The chat is an easy way to get familiar with people if you feel a little lonely. Regardless, you have much more important priorities to fulfill before worrying about being recognized here.
  11. I just watched the pilot, the first episode pair, and another random one in season 3. There were unfortunately only a couple parts that made me laugh, and even then they were quite underwhelming and weren't much of laughter at all. I was expecting to get more and better laughs from the show and comparing it to other things I watch, it wasn't nearly as amusing. For the record, if you like it, then that's great. Everyone has their own preferences and opinions. I only say that because I've seen several occasions where one person doesn't understand how the other person doesn't like the same thing as he does. Anyways, I'm giving Adventure Time a pass. I have an abundance of ways to spend my free time anyways.
  12. Is it calculated battles + wins totaled? Frederick was 0/0 for me, too.
  13. I've also played every English FE since right after FE7 came out, all before visiting these forums. A lot of people will agree that Shadow Dragon sucks and Awakening is great. If a hipster is too cool being different to recognize others' opinions, then he's just a jerk. If someone else likes something and you don't, let them have their opinion - even if it makes your opinion the unpopular one. I love the new avatar and that reclassing adds so many options to make people's playthroughs different. I was disappointed by the plot and went back to Radiant Dawn soon after playing Awakening, but the supports and the emphasis on quirks made it up for me. When I joined the forums I put RD as my favorite FE. I changed it to Awakening because the options and supports make the game for me. I don't really care if the level design sucks, if there's no light magic or weight, or if Nosferatanking is OP. This is the main reason you should be glad with new people joining the fandom. If you want more games to be made, the series wi have to grow and new people will join fan sites and such. If you want to keep playing the old games because they're you're favorite, then to ahead and get off the Awakening forum. With additional people also comes additional dislikable people. The larger a fanbase is, the higher the percentage of generally dislikable people tends to be. When you have a smaller community, typically more hardcore people will be involved. Now, you're seeing more random people who aren't as serious as the smaller group might be because now (like the internet anonymity equation) each person is more like another face in the crowd rather than a face you remember. Just my thoughts on the subject :p
  14. The gamepad has a very long and thin cord that doesn't have to be connected to the Wii U as well as a high resolution. It could've been required to be wired in the first place. I doubt Nintendo will create an adapter for GameCube controllers since they have the Classic and Pro controllers. A third party company might make a way for GameCube controllers to emulate Classic or Pro controllers, however. I want them to include as much bonus content as in Brawl (tons of game modes, collectables, challenges, custom stages, demos of old games) and then create more content post launch. It's going to be optional to purchase.
  15. I loved seeing how characters from different games interacted in the cutscenes and I enjoyed the co-op side scrolling combat which reminds me of Kirby Super Star. Although I played versus much more than the SSE, I still want it. All of the game's content could be leaked. That's no reason not to have cutscenes. Again, I think it's just their excuse to not make one. I don't care if they put all of their focus on character balance because I, like the vast majority of people who will play the game, won't be playing it to a professional competitive level. In fact, I doubt they will balance it properly on launch anyways and hope that they will patch to balance characters.
  16. I guess I like the taste enough to eat it if it's there, but I prefer not to because it's unhealthy and I don't like it very much.
  17. Sakurai: I agree with this article. This would be less of an issue if they performed a world-wide release like Pokemon X & Y. If people want to spoil themselves of the experience, they can. My friends and I aren't looking at the hidden characters before we get the game. I think this is an excuse to not have to make a story mode. There may be an adventure mode like Melee.
  18. Darn. I was hoping there was an easier way to fill one of those out.
  19. That could start off subjectively. I propose a system like alphabetically, support log order, or by weapon type usage. The list could start with characters who start with only sword access, to characters who start with sword and lance access, then sword lance and axe access, then sword and axe, sword and tome, sword and staff, then lance only, etc.
  20. I've subjected my kids to +Res -Str for Celica's Gale StreetPass and am making Lucina a Dark Flier with 1. Limit Breaker 2. Lethality – from Olivia 3. Rightful King – always 4. Luna – always 5. Iote’s Shield
  21. Nowi's is like Yoshi Dragon. Say'ri's is a brave sword Astra, alternativing between affected targets every 5 swings. Sumia's prevents players from being airborne and submits them to constant tripping.
  22. Unfortunately, it looks like it's blue only for legacy characters. Here is Dread Fighter Lyon: Also, is there a text code I can use that'll let me make spoilers? I know this isn't Awakening-related, but I still want to know.
