  1. Ballistae, daggers, and Laguz Strikes could be added to the list if you wanted. I like stones because they increase many stats and usually provide 1-2 range.
  2. TBH, I'm surprised at how many people pronounce the end of the word to rhyme with bet. Since there's an "e" after the "t," I pronounce the end to rhyme with complete discrete athlete.

  4. The OP's main point is: to increase variety in skillsets. Coordinating four skills has less viable arrangements than using five. Especially on more specialized units. And everyone can have access Limit Break. I don't critique IS for releasing great skills as DLC. It's possible they excluded certain skills during development while planning to release them as DLC. They're still a business and want to make money. Personally, I prefer to buy maps for skills I'll use over story and dialogue. However, I do think that Limit Break is too good. Limit Break would still encourage sales for being a great choice for a skill if it increased caps by 3-6 instead of 10. Right now, it's difficult to not justify using it for the final DLC or a Streetpass team as one of your five skills if you have access to it. Deciding to use Limit Break is an easy choice to make, whereas the other skills are easier to debate between which ones to use. If Limit Break was +4 to caps, it'd still be a top tier skill, but it would have to compete with the other skills for one of your slots much more often than now.
  5. How about testing with gaining no support points or only gaining a small amount you can record & replicate for each pair (not reaching C)?
  6. The priority is: Lethality > Aether > Astra > Sol > Luna > Ignis > Vengeance Each rolls until one is successful. Afterwards, Crit and Hit are calculated, too. Luna is often better than Ignis in postgame cases where you need one of the two skills to activate.
  7. Can someone test if Tonics, Confects, and Tiki's Tear temporary boosts save to your Sortie?
  8. In my post I said "You could use all avatars, but let's get a little creative here." I'm curious to see what Mire Snipers people would formulate with the limitations of not using other avatars, which is why I put all of that information up there.
  9. Avatars are fine. It's the legacy and Spotpass paralogue characters than can cause an issue.
  10. Spotpass and DLC Characters have issues with Streetpass. There's some kind of glitch in the American version that sometimes makes Streetpass teams with Spotpass/DLC characters not register in another 3DS.

  12. In the chatroom today, Alkazor said the goal of his Streetpass team was simply to get one kill because his friends play on classic. One of his characters is a Sorcerer with Lethality to "Mire Snipe." I made this thread to list the possible Mire Snipers. EDIT: I have been informed by Alkazor that Lethality cannot activate through Mire, so I assume the same for the other activation skills. How unfortunate. Miriel, Laurent, Cordelia, Severa, Tharja, Noire, Libra, Libra's kid, Henry, Henry's kid, Avatar, Morgan, & Avatar's other kid have access to Dark Mage. Stahl, Vaike, Kellam, Lon'qu, Gaius, Gregor, Henry, Sully, Kjelle, Panne, Yarne, Olivia, Inigo, Owain, Avatar, Morgan, & Avatar's other kid have access to Lethality. Spotpass and DLC Characters have issues with Streetpass. You could use all avatars, but let's get a little creative here. Laurent needs Miriel to marry a male with Lethality. Severa needs Cordelia to marry a male with Lethality. Noire needs Tharja to marry a male with Lethality. Libra's kid needs Libra to marry a female with Lethality. Henry has access to both Dark Mage & Lethality. Henry's kid has access to both Dark Mage & Lethality. Avatar has access to both Dark Mage & Lethality. Morgan has access to both Dark Mage & Lethality. Avatar's other kid has access to both Dark Mage & Lethality. Here are some notable Skills that increase your Hit: Lucky Seven - Hit rate and Avoid +20 up to the 7th turn - Trickster(Thief) Hit Rate +20 - Sniper(Archer) Quick Burn - Hit rate and Avoid +15 at the start of the chapter.   13. Are the non-Golden Pack DLCs so difficult that they're postponed till endgame like Spotpass character fights?
  14. Does a file's difficulty directly affect the DLC maps?
  15. I hope I won't be haunted by knowing about the big black ear holes now o.o I prefer the short audio phrases to the eyes and mouth movements, if I had to choose. How about battle animations? Of course Awakening and Tellius triumph with being in 3D. I do prefer the GBA battle sprites to the DS ones and like to watch them while fast forwarding.
  16. It appears Awakening and Radiant Dawn are favored as far as in-game portraits are concerned. I wonder, is that because of their high quality or are there better reasons?
  17. Which art styles of the various Fire Emblem games do you like/dislike? I like the Awakening and Tellius character art and battle models and the GBA ones I don't mind. I'm not a fan of the DS character art and battle models and they practically ruin the game for me. I haven't played any of the first 5 games.
