  1. It's a single player game. WHO CARES IF YOU'RE NOT AS EFFICIENT.

I use Olivia as a combat unit, and I don't give a damn.

^This. Who cares if you don't have galeforce, who are you 'competing' and who posed the 'time limit' for you to play FEA?

    Vantage better that Galeforce imo.

I use Olivia for combat too, with LETHALITY. 3 dmg most of the time with sudden death on some while 'guarded/avoid' most of the time.

  2. If you put the skills together you get infinite 15 hit/avoid for the 15 turns. Pretty handy if you ask me.

its 15 hit/avoid all the way. quick burn + slow burn

    +0+15/+1+14/+2+13/so on and so forth.

edit: 0 from first turn. Anyway 2 skills to get only 15 isn't that great (still not bad), Dual Support+ better. Lucky Seven+Quick Burn is better too.

    Out of topic:

I'm find it fascinating that there are still people who doesn't know how good vengeance is when Nosferatu tanking is so popular.

Vengeance with 50 skill means guaranteed proc if no other proc skill before it (armsthrift is concurrent), not to mention high skill gives high crit and hit rate.

With Vantage, it is a safer worth to kill off the enemy before they even land a hit than Ignis.

Ignis is a rarer skill, while vengeance comes with sorcerer for Nosferatu.

Totally don't get why people want to go a roundabout way for a something that doesn't improve.

  3. Also, Mire Sorcerers ({LB + Tomefaire + Armsthrift + Aggressor + [something else]}) are fun as well.

I use Astra for the 'something else' and surround the Mire Sorcerers with Solitude/Charm/Dual Support+ buff.

Can replace Tomefaire with Galeforce for x2 attack. High skill means high hit and crit rate.

Quick Burn+Anethema+Lucky Seven+Pass+Tantivity for Mire Sorc and rescue if you feel Lucky Seven is no longer lucky.

    Wrath+ Vantage+Vengeance is common.

    Dragonstone+ with Ignis

    Sniper+RK+Lethality

    Lancefaire+Galeforce+Armsthrift+LB+Iote's Shield and Luna Spear

The above are the build I used.

One interesting pattern will be chain rescue with Olivia, to snipe out the commander, but need allot of Sage, Falcon Knight, Bride and War Monk/Cleric, couple with deliverer/movement+1

  4. Yeah, I know about the lead intentional miss with x2 for support to double strike. Like to know if there's a breakpoint where in you can kill with normal non-brave MIT weapon (by support pair of course =D).

Because crit is significantly more unreliable than a dual strike, and this build is all about reliability. With a Brave, you will ALWAYS (-ish) get 2 hits from the support per hit from the front unit.

At least, this is my assumption. Even if you can crit 70% of the time, that 30% when you don't means you can be taking damage, which kinda defeats the point here. Whereas this build is advertised as "96.41% invincibility".

Correct me if I'm wrong, MAttSTER.

  5. I also thought of using this strategy using "Gamble" for low hit and using Chrom since he has Falchion and Dual Strike+.

Does it really matter who thought of this first? How about Wrath, Vantage, Vengeance combo? Patent it?

Anyway, back on topic, get Dual support for the AC(anti-counter) pair, doesn't matter who, dual strike+ if possible, and "Focus".

Not necessarily need low skill, since high skill total increase your dual strike chances.

You can purposefully 'level' your stats of the lead so that the total chances is not more than 100%.

Miracle, Vantage, Sol, Rightful King are good since you just stats up all the way you like.

You don't need to use 'waste', Erika's Blade, Brave Axe can do the trick.

Mire works too, since its hit is the lowest, and you just need to have higher total defenses pairs to box the AC in,

with Anthema, 1 range weapon, rally skills/tomebreaker/bowbreaker,

so enemy AI will target the AC pair.

I learnt that 'focus' crits for the dual striker, so as long as you kills the enemy with crit before 2nd move when your vantage end, you win.

x2 weapon just allows one more attack for the partner.

  6. You are kind. I thought most players make a spotpass team just to troll others.

I have armsthrift in my game, but swap out to counter, lethality, miracle for my spotpass team. ><

I keep armsthrift on my character because some people like almost never using weapons, I only keep it because if someone were to recruit my avatar and decide the skills I had were garbage, at least it wouldn't cost them more than a few thousand gold to outfit him almost forever, I'm just trying to be considerate, even though low level reclassing SEEMS to preserve stats upon repromotion...

Ehhh... Plus, forged glass weapons are always fun to play around with

  7. Glad that you ask. I devote my entire hard run to get a max luck Brady, to find that it is not working for staves. =(

Armsthrift only saves those weapons that is 'used' in combat. Those that consumed as item, not during fights are not saved.

Think of it like preventing damage to weapons because of the weapon handling skills (hence call armsthrift) and not shielding your weapons from damage.

Staves is not a weapon, although IRL I could whack someone with staves. Even Branches is considered as weapon =/

  8. Galeforce and Lethality are good for faster killing to level up your characters, especially children.

Strongly suggest to play casual Normal/Hard first, and get a general feel.

You will definitely want to re-run this game allot of time, its just too much fun.

From Lunatic onwards, galeforce/lifetaker won't be that strong due to the on kill requirement and lethality is no good if you can't tank.

You'll understand the usefulness of Sol over Astra when you play lunatic.

You'll also be aware that there are more kills on enemy turns than on yours, even if you get x2 move from galeforce.

Hence its good to play both difficulty to get the feel of the importance of different skills.

  9. I love Astra for the Chances to take advantage of Criticals more. But that is for Hard mode play through.

After trying lunatic, Luna and Sol are way more important. Astra basically did nothing when each hit deals like 2 damages.

Even if Sol heals only a few HP from the low damage, it still make a difference between miracle activating again or not.

Luna is good because it already ensure the damage is dealt and it proc more often. Good for Aversa's Night against high Res enemy and physical damage against enemy generals.

    Sol < Luna < Astra
