Damn dude, thats alot of stat boosting...is there a way to use her without using so much stat boosters and she still turn out ok?

GBA carts depending on your care of them can last ages..i got FE when it came out and it still works fine (and i played that thing to death and back again)

Ross as a berserker mainly cuz hes a bit faster that way..
Amelia as a paladin..shes got some bomb res and depending on how the RNG stats are feeling she can get to ass whomping status..General Amelia is ok but i prefer paladins over generals..
Ewan...well...i usually wait for CC before i do anything with him at all...hes decent as a mage knight and pretty good as a sage..i dont care for dark magic users as a whole..

Replace Ike with Soren and remove "Bishounen" and I'd agree with you.
nope..lol i dont think Ike is meant to be that sort of character...main heroes never are :P

1-8..those damn wyverns come in and slaughter those poor people in the swamp and i cant catch em fast enough!!
Rivals Collide is my least favorite of all...ARGH!!!!!!! if youre going for good ending status, that one is a PAIN!

Ever notice that the same characters in both games are completely different?
like Mia for instance..shes pretty meh in PoR but can slay ass in RD..
Or poor Oscar...in PoR hes possibly the best paladin, but in RD he blows...what the fetch?
Makalov, another good example..in PoR hes so bad its just depressing, but in RD hes got the best speed of all the paladins (from my knowledge)

Janaff because of his strength is higher..he has better chance of killing his target..Ulki has bomb crit rate but not so good strength..i use both and give them both Tear most of the time...

I tried A support with Soren and unlocking the memory scene. The base conversation with Soren before the battle with Ashera was supposed to trigger it. But somehow I didn't get it. And yeah, I have a transfer file with A support Soren/Ike
the step thats necessary and very difficult (atleast for me) is Soren attacking Micaiah in Rivals Collide..thats the only step i couldnt do..i guess if you cant do that, you dont get the scene cuz i did everything else many times and didnt get it..

The whole IkeXSoren thing is scary, and it gave me nightmares. I'm surprised NoA even let those parts in the game ha ha. :)
LOL! yeah...i hear ya..I personally think Soren is too adorable to be leaning in that direction but thats just me..but its so painfully obvious that im sure many younger players had the same nightmares..

The support system in PoR is so mindbogglingly awesome compaired to just about all of the FEs ive played..
The cutscenes in PoR are very nice for the gamecube..if you play PoR on the Wii, the graphics are a bit smoother (including cutscenes)...
my only complaint about PoR compared to RD is that when your units attack, theres no number indications of what crit rates, hit percentage, and damage on the screen..thats annoying..

Soren is a bishounen character which is obvious where his role lies...to be Ikes "interest" even though hes a dude...After playing PoR, one can know that Soren likes boys..well just Ike really..he seems to hate everyone else..

Farina is worth the gold because of the triangle attacks...i cant tell you how much that rips ass especially near the end of the game!
(and yes Tana is the best looking in the GBA ones..cuz the best looking Peg knight of all time (besides Shiida) is Sigrun :P )

finally, i got this game. just a few questions:
1) do all my items i used during lyns story get fully repaired? i know the manni katti does, but what about everything else?
2) why is lundgren so easy? how can a 6 str lyn with lancereaver even damage him? (i actually beat him when he was at 1 hp that way)
3) are there any good bow users in this game?
4) this game was used. do i continue on to eliwoods story after lyns story, or could I choose to play hectors story?
1. I believe the Mani Katti is the only one that does get refreshed..the other characters accompanying Lyn get defaulted weapons like steel lances, etc.
2. Lungren is a slice of cake. hes designed to be taken down by Lyn, and since Lyn has abysmal strength and defense (even at level 10 or so) she can take him out in about one turn with either the lancereaver or the Mani Katti (which has a high crit)
3. Rebecca is ok but my vote goes to Rath...hes mobile, can use a sword after promotion and has excellent strength
4. Id go with Hectors tale if its unlocked..its better and there are more chapters (and gaidens) and Farina..

How do you unlock that scene anyways?
I've had little OMG moments on the whole game, because my brother kept playing and playing. When he was on 4-E-2 and lost (the moron had taken Nihil out of Ike) and Zelguis was revealed without a helmet and I was just happened to innocently passing by I was like "OH FUCK, WHY?!" Not that I hadn't figured out, but I wasn't really sure and... yeah it ruined the surprise.
When Sephiran remembers the moment in which Greil snaps and kills Elena. Ike would have been scarred for life otherwise.
Yeah, that's pretty much it.
I have yet to unlock that scene actually, but i heard about it..its only one step i cannot do..

seriously though, Soren is my fave FE character for his story and stats...ive never had Soren fail...ever..

Florina..obvious reasons..I love peg knights so much..
Florina is in the game since the beginning and has excellent speed and defense (once leveled)..I have had her fail on me before but it wasnt a terrible failure..i level all three because that triangle attack wins

Sain..he rocks..
I usually use Lowen but i decided to use Sain instead and he was so much better..yeah Lowens got good defence but his strength is dump in comparison..
Kent gets to be the Marcus replacement (since i promote him in Lyn mode stealing Wallaces knight crest) and since Marcus eats balls, Kent does alot better..But Sain is the best one i found out...
No love for Isadora..:(

ok...theres alot of weird stuff that made me go "wha--?" in this one
Sephiran being the bad guy..I absolutely LOVED him in PoR! What the fridge was that all about! also him being Lehran was shocking.
I played this entire game without knowing a damn thing about the story or any spoilers and it was awesome!!!
but the one that threw me was this: (although i never saw the scene myself)
Soren being Almedha's true son...i mean...yeah the resemblance is really there but that means hes Ashnards bastard and i loved Soren too much to think about that...

Also Micaiah being Sanaki's sister (and true apostle)..no real explaination there..bleah..
and Shinon kicking alot of butt since he sucked rancid meat in PoR

I think my alltime fav chapter in that game is 4-4 (Revelations)
its so cool and fun and its just like PoR all over again (almost exactly) and i dunno why thats awesome but it is..
i also like the Grann Desert one..(all that treasure)

my last playthough it was something like this:
1. Soren (always)
2. Ilyana (weird cuz it was like the first time i bothered with her)
3. Haar (hes always in there)
4. Fiona (she rocks)
5. Ike (he usually doesnt get in there)

Eliwood pretty much sucks until heaven seal time..get him to level 20 anyway because you DONT want that one chapter where you end up with Wallace (especially in Hector mode..O_o)
Just tough it out..hes pretty fragile in the beginning though so take due care..
