This Tokyo Map in SMTIV is the worst thing in the world. This is actually my first SMT game and I really enjoy it. I have never played a RPG this tough before. Even if you grind, the enemy (even random ones) still has a chance of killing you. I love it.
The Terminals make everything easier. But I do have to look at walkthroughs just to figure out where to go.
I am happy to say that I have only looked at the walkthroughs twice.

Every time you use a Second Seal, the game adds hidden levels to the unit that you just class-changed, which add to its actual level used to determine EXP gain. Having a lot of hidden levels added can really slow you down. This is why reclassing Frederick to a tier 1 class doesn't really help his EXP gain as much as other people, because he stocks a bunch of hidden levels from reclassing out of Great Knight, which makes him effectively higher than you'd expect a level 1 unit to be.
In Lunatic, this caps out at 50, and doesn't ever go higher than that. That's a pretty high cap, though. You could have a 20/1 promoted unit that's gaining EXP like they were level 71, which is pretty ridiculous. They'll be getting 8 EXP per kill on almost anything.
I'm confused. What happens when your cap reaches 50?

I chose Chrom. I mean in any of my FeMU playthroughs, I always picked him. I never saw the point since you can have two kids and Chrom is avalible from the start.

Could someone explain the internal level cap to me? I am planning to play on Lunatic+ (Chapter 3...) and does it affect me in any bad way? I guess 50 is high.

Yeah she's got one equipped iirc, but she can kill 2 promoted enemies and then get to level 20 without much trouble. They just got to be weakened first
Wouldn't it just be easier to promote her in the preperations screen? You would only miss out on 1 stat in Str, Skill, and Lck. (iirc)

Depends if you count CherchexVaike B support, SumiaxFrederick S support, Lon'quxOlivia A support and NowixGregor S support good units, which I think they all are
I think I'm going to grind some of the mothers on DLC or something then, see if I can't get a few level ups on my main units via paraloges. My levels on the offensive units vary between 4-8 besides Chrom who is level 11 and Lucina who is a level 19 lord. The support bots are all promoted also because those little extra boosts couldn't hurt
Do you have access to Master Seals? It seems like Lucina could use one.

I'll consider cutting my team down then if I can't make any progress. Chapter 17 I think can be done with patience as long as some of my units are on the stairs. I was dreading 19 and 20 though and from what I read 25 is designed poorly

Yep. Even though I have never done a Lunatic/No-grind before. I know that your not supposed to use a full team. It's to give more levels to the units who are worth using. (MU, Gregor, Lucina, etc)

I don't really like Cordelia. I'll probably will never have her as a "waifu". (I prefer Lissa more anyway)
Besides, I usually get RNG Screwed with her.

I think Chrom should only be a callback character in the next game, imo. (If they have any)

I believe Yarne was the original parent. Yarne's Barbarian class turns into Wyvern Rider because it is gender exclusive.
Does Companion exist if Lucina!Morgan marries Owain?

It's very tedious. D8 And if your final class is a non-staff class, it's not useful at all.
Unless you are only using it to grind levels.

I actually really like Lucina. (2nd favorite wife, only behind Lissa)
Personality wise: I don't find it boring. I thhink she is only serious because of the way the future was. *Shrugs* nothing more than that.
Gameplay wise: I like because she gives Morgan Blue hair, Aether, and Parallel Falchion.

The thing is that I shouldn't need casual. I played (but never finished) every Fire Emblem released outside of Japan except FE7. I should be used to the strategies and the mental process needed through all the years of practice. I guess I'm in the mindset that Casual is more for kids and rookies, in which I'm neither.
And it was a stupid mistake to save, and probably a stupid one to continue the battle anyway.
You could continue the game with Nowi x Gregor.
Do you have any DLC?
Need MMU and 3rd-gen Morgan help

Galeforce is always a good skill to have. Luna or Astra as a proc skill would be good too.
