PM ME MARIANNE ART

I like having Owain as a physical fighter as well, but we've got to face the facts. By facts I mean Lissa's +2 Mag -2 Str mods she always passes down. This alone makes it so Owain is more optimal as a mage. Actually, the Ricken!Owain set I use has him as a dread fighter. I don't see how the no-DLC Apo is possible with out that strategy he used. I can't even beat the normal waves. I hope to try it again soon with the pairings I have at the bottom of the intro to this topic. Yeah, those pairs I talked about above were too mainstream.

I'm all ears to suggestions.

I watched that video of the Apo with no DLC. It frightens me how some people can do that, and I can't even do it with full limit breaker and max stats.

Who, and what were their pairs?

I have looked at many people's different guides and their choices for pairings. I think I have made pairings that will satisfy everything the children need. Feel free to complain or yell at me; I personally am not going to use these specific ones. (Mine have bias and are made to intentionally remove sorcerers; if you want those, they're on my profile.) Please offer your opinions, they help everyone, which is what these are meant to do. Now, the pairings: Chrom and Olivia- Inigo gets luna and RK. Lucina gets Vantage and Swordfaire. Both children are used to their max non-Robin abilities. Stahl and Cordelia- Severa gets myrmidon and cavalier which are pretty much all she needs. Great mods, too, so it's a win-win. Fred and Cherche- Tank Gerome with amazing stats and skills all around. Kellam and Panne- Can be used as a support unit general or an offensive berserker. Donnel and Sully- Gets GF and Merc. Donnel's crappy mods don't hurt her too much. Vaike and Nowi- Amazing strength and access to merc and knight, which is all she needs. Gaius and Tharja- Galeforce, myrmidon and high stats all around (except luck). Ricken and Lissa- Owain with HIGH magic and access to luna. Gregor and Miriel- Sorc with armsthrift, sol, and vantage. I personally don't care for this one, because his strength is wasted, but this is mainly for a sorc build, which I don't do. Henry and Sumia- Dark flier with high magic and skill. Also access to dark mage. Lon'qu and Maribelle- Great skills like vantage, astra and luna (default) and amazing skill and speed. Robin can go with whoever the hell you want, Morgan will be the best no matter what. Preferably Aversa for Shadowgift, or a second-gen for overall awesomeness. Sorry about all the pairings I talk about, but hey, it's pretty much the most important thing for Apo and higher difficulties. Like I said, complain all you want, I don't use these, and they're only made for those people who say, "Oh, what's the perfect set up?" or "What pairings are most optimal?" Just some minor differences, though I'm thinking about Chrom/Maribelle, Henry/Sumia, Ricken/Lissa, and Lon'qu/Miriel after seeing that Apo with no DLC vid.

I think that if there is canon, then it will be Lon'qu/Olivia or Virion/Olivia. Lon'qu because they have a history together, and their characters are very close. Also, he is the only one who fits Inigo's father. Nobody would freak out that much over just his obsession with women. (Stole this from some guy on youtube, but I agree completely) Virion because it would completely explain his philandering habits. And hair color.

Well, I'll just say if you like Ricken and Olivia, you'll love Virion and Olivia. I really like their S Support, and that's unusual. Stahl and Olivia is also one to check out.

Really? Huh. I didn't find it to be anything special. Gaius and Olivia will always be my favorite second favorite, but as great as the first three supports were, I thought the S was pretty boring. Maybe because Gaius doesn't call her babe anymore. Actually, Virion and Olivia had my favorite supports.

I've seen both. It's really not funny at all. It's just completely unnecessary.

Didn't mean to offend, if I did. I guess I just hate Libra. Aren't priests not supposed to get married? Maybe I'm reading too deep into this.

My potential husbandos for Olivia- 1. The MaMU- He's the best father for anyone, and Dread Fighters with ignis are fantastic. 2. Chrom- Luna. 3. Virion- He's really not needed for anyone else, and Inigo gets good enough skills already, so Virion's mods are all he needs. 4. Lon'qu- Same reasons as Virion, but he's usually needed somewhere else, so...

I hate Libra and Olivia. It's like my Reverse OTP.

Well, that's because he's good no matter what, so he should have Virion.

For me, she's with MaMU, but my next choices are Chrom and Virion.

Vantage is overrated. I wonder how many replies I'm going to get yelling at me for that.

I usually do Sumia!Lucina for a couple of reasons. 1. Her strength may be low, but her skill and speed are unrivaled. 2. She gets pavise and aegis, which work amazingly with RK. 3. Cynthia gets Aether, which with her high skill activates often. 4. My MU is with Olivia.

That takes all the fun out of the game. I train everyone so that they can defeat future past enemies and talk to the children.

A little bit of grinding on every character, but after chapter 16 we will be doing a lot of grinding with every character to get the children where we want them skillswise. Like I said, it's a casual run.

So, I said I was going to play a hard-classic file using random pairs from Meteor's pairing randomizer thing. I was asked to tell how it was going. I decided to make this page, since it would be pointless to cover it on another page. I also can't record it because I don't have a new-fangled 3DS capture card. My brother will be playing along, so I'll do some coverage of his playthrough as well. We will be doing some minor grinding when we get new characters, and after chapter 16, we will do a lot of skill grinding, just so the kids can have the best skills. We're both currently on C5, which will probably be covered here sometime today or tomorrow. I would also like to thank Meteor for making the randomizer. Anyway, here are the pairings we got: Me- MU x Olivia, Chrom x Maribelle, Gaius x Sumia, Kellam x Cordelia, Lon'qu x Sully, Virion x Lissa, Donnel x Miriel, Fred x Nowi, Henry x Tharja, Gregor x Cherche, and Vaike x Panne. I thought I was the only one who used sniper Noire. I still prefer Virion as a sniper. And yes, I know other characters have it. Ricken is a magic user. Chrom is either GL or Palidin. Stahl has it too, but what is it compared to myrmidon and cavalier?

Virion x Cherche is a problem. You might want to switch him and Kellam.
