Working on CasterLiz myself. Ask me again in couple months 😛

I started LB2 and boy... I am LOVING LB2 archer! His smug/smile looks SO good on him hahaha!

Liking it a lot so far =]

Funny, I'd been working on hers as well, via the same method I used for Stheno... Maybe I should switch to someone else for that then.  Perhaps Santa Altera.

  2. It's been a while since the last time I asked about this in here, so might as well.

Does anyone here have any of the following Bond CE on NA?

    • Sabers: Suzuka, Yagyu, Sigurd
    • Archers: Moriarty, Emiya Alter, Altera the Sunta, Chiron, Napoleon
    • Lancers: Fionn, Li Shuwen, Pavarti, Nezha, Valkyrie
    • Riders: Anne and Mary, Kintoki, Ivan, Achilles, Ryouma,
    • Casters: Halloween Liz, Paracelsus, Geronimo, Scheherazade, Circe, Anastasia, Sieg,
    • Assassins: Jing Ke, Phantom of the Opera, Hassan of the Hundred Personas, Chiyome, Danzou, Osakabehime, Semiramis, Izou
    • Berserkers: Atalante Alter
    • Extra Classes: Hessian Lobo, Mecha Eli Mk II, Hokusai, Salieri, Okita Alter

If you do have them, could you put them on support so I could register them?  It would be much appreciated.

  3. Reines only having two arts cards is kinda counterbalanced by how absurd the two arts cards she has are.  She gets more NP gain off them than many servants with single arts decks.  It's incredibly easy to keep Reines NP up 24/7 once she gets it off once, even stack it on top of itself.

Also, Reines has a notable farming use that Waver cannot do in that she can charge two team members 30%.  So you can have two servants with 20% battery carry a 50% gauge CE with Reines, while you can't with Waver.  Or you can tote around two MLB Imaginary Elements instead of Kscopes to save on party cost unless you're like my NA account and somehow still have not managed to mlb one IE.

Also, Reines class disadvantage cancel thing does have one more thing I feel is worth mentioning other than getting rid of weakness to Berserkers, and that is it gets rid of Caster Weakness to Riders.  While I was doing the Ivan fight on NA recently I found myself really wishing to have her around, even in her unbuffed state, since that'd mean Ivan wasn't just instantly murdering Merlin or Waver.  I did the Megalos + Rider of Resistance fight in JP yesterday with a freshly buffed friend Reines, and not having my Waver die or come close to dying when the Rider finally NP'd was a godsend, because I was using Karna as DPS since he could kill Megalos quickly with his effective vs Divine thing so the Rider was relatively slow to go down.

In the end, I'd agree with the assessment that it really depends on the situation which is going to be better.  Reines is definitely in the big leagues of good supports now though, imo.  Any servant with 50% battery is going to be.

  4. I don't have SSR in Assassin, Berserker, Avenger, or Foreigner.  Moon Cancer doesn't have any SSR until Summer 3 so don't count that.  I'll be pulling Extra, as while I have two Extra class SSR dupes of them are still better than a character I just don't like such as Cu Alter.

The engine change didn't disappoint, it feels soo nice to be able to do LB1 free quests without the super lag caused by the blizzard. And that's not all, the load times went down by a lot. Damn, this is pretty great!

The only thing I don't get is the MIX portion when choosing a support, it seems to be like a random setting? I don't get what that's for.

It displays a full list of supports from all other slots.  It's meant to be used with the improved CE filters for events, which allow you to only show MLB CEs, and specify which specific event CE(s) you want.

It’s the the giant Berserker enemies introduced in that LB. I looked them up and it they seem to focus on Divine Servants. As in if you have a team of Artoria, Emiya and Cu, they would only target Cu since he’s Divine.

    https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Hrimthurse
All three types seem to target Divine Servants.

Interesting, I never noticed.  It won't really affect much though, since you can easily low turn most nodes with them either way iirc.

But aren’t there Berserker enemies that focus on Divine Servants?

I don't remember the berserkers having something effective on Divine servants... Even if they did, it didn't slow down my weakling JP account way back when I was quite reliant on Chiron...

The only fight in the LB that I really found difficult at all was Surtr.

LB2 is coming pretty soon and from what I heard, using Divine Servants is pretty bad idea there?

For Surtr's fight, he does more damage on Divine servants.

Rest of the LB Divine servants can go nuts.

It's the opposite, I am using an old android phone. But nonetheless I will probably keep it and collect the daily reward and pull for Napolean. And play my switch while FGO loading (probably due to my unstable internet connection even after I disconnect my switch from wifi)

Oh.  Dunno how much the engine update will help you then.  I suppose it'd still be worth checking when the update in question happens, though.

Just reinstalled yesterday after 8 months, any banner coming up?

Thinking of deleting it again cuz the loading time is too long on my phone currently (at least 5 minutes every time), but want to see if I can spend any quartz on new servant before that.

EDIT: Nvm the ingame notifcation is working now. I can see the Napolean campaign

The loading time should be fixed soon enough, assuming you're on a very new iPhone, they announced the engine update will be coming in June last month.

Arts Lancers are a rarity so a NP4 Li Shuwen will fill a role that you may not have. Although next year he will be outclassed the GugaGuda 4’s welfare.

At NP4?  Li has an NP buff coming in like, January, so he'd likely be outdamaging her with those extra NP levels.

There was no Amakusa on my FL(still none actually lol), so i ended up using a megashit strats using Eresh where her S3 nulifies the damage the 15 mob done

    Ah.

If you ever need one, I have him NP2'd on JP and usually put Black Grail or event damage CE on him.

In other news, a cute shota!

    I must pull.

    *300 quartz later*

Darn, no 5* servants.  I did NP2 the Berserker, and I got a dupe Parvati which I burned.  Nothing else really interesting, oh well.

EDIT: Well, I did one more 11 pull and got him.  And NP3'd the Berserker in the meantime.  Nice.

I finished LB3 in a single day and i can tell you QSH is nowhere near a highlight in that entire day. Its roughly Xiang Yu Dual >>>>>>>  Li before you figure it out >> Li AFTER you figure it out > 15 Mob >>>>> QSH

By 15 mob, do you mean the fight right before Old Li?  Because that's literally just a matter of grabbing a friend's Amakusa and letting him go nuts, since he basically nopes the entire gimmick of the fight because those buffs are removable for some reason.

  14. 1 minute ago, Water Mage said:

While I did hear about QSH and Arjuna Alter, I don’t hear people bemoaning about them as much as say, Gawain and Demeter. So I didn’t think of them as super hard.

Well, Honako Green a FGO Youtuber and Streamer managed to do it. He’s famous for only using low rarity Servants and managed to beat Olympus without a single Gold Servant.

I think the main reason Gawain is commented on so much is he's the first real beef gate in the entire game, not so much that he's the hardest thing in it.

Arjuna Alter is honestly one of the most bullshit fights in the entire game.  His standard damage output is absolutely absurd (seeing him OHKO things with regular attacks isn't uncommon), he's completely immune to debuffs, and his final break effect buffs him with NP damage up and ignore invincible and fully charges his NP.

Break bars do add difficulty but not that much. The only really hard chapter after Camelot is Shimousa I think. Others chapters have difficulty battles, but nothing as hard as Olympus. Sure a certain wolf Avenger in Shinjiku and a certain Berserker in Agatharta can be hard but a friend’s BB and a friend’s Foreigner can beat those battles.

Well, yeah, but even in Camelot difficulty tends to be concentrated around a few specific boss fights, and the fights where the difficulty is concentrated in modern content are generally just as or more difficult than what the difficult parts of Camelot throws at you.

Surtr in Gotterdanmerung, just about every major boss in SIN, Arjuna Alter, etc are all waaaaaay harder than Ch 4 Gawain (the hardest thing Camelot has) is.

  16. 1 hour ago, Water Mage said:

Awesome! Babylonia is not as hard as Camelot but it still can be challenging! Expect to see more boss fights with gimmicks for now on. There is a chapter even harder than Camelot, but it will only release in NA at April 2022, so plenty of time to build a strong team.

Eh, I'd say most of the post part 1 chapters harder than Camelot, since break bars introduce quite a bit of difficulty.  The only Camelot fight I'd say still competes with modern content is Gawain, maaaaaybe Mordred but she's really easy to just stall to death.

    huh

    nvm then

(not first time it happened i thought demeter forces you to run Mash lol)

If Demeter forced running Mash, I think I'd boil over with rage or something.  She's frustrating enough as it is, what with the overpowered skills and annoying first break effect and the forced Caenis, and like Zeus its a fight where Mash has no use at all.

  18. 6 hours ago, JSND Alter Dragon Boner said:

You can't. Hes a forced front

He's literally an instinct crit with mediocre AOE damage against ST fight. His Roman traits have to be applied on activation on 1 and its his damage enabler, of course it ended up being used on Pillar so hes a meh character when the time comes to burst the head

Seriously he's almost as garbage as Caenis in that fight. LIke i dont expect support servant to be as useful as LB5.1 Jojorion, but at least be as good as early LB5.2 Musashi

    ...He's not forced front:

    Wodime

Oh.  Out of curiosity, where'd that nickname come from?  It seems pretty random.  I did read about a meme about him begging Daybit for help on reddit recently but that doesn't seem like it'd be related and it's the only Wodime meme I can think of.

This makes me fear for LB6. We’re definitely facing a Rhongo user in that LB if regular Lartoria has AoE Ignore Invincible, the new one’s NP could have it too. And if LB Mash is forced in fight against them it’s going to be hell since she contribute nothing.

At the very least, of the three Rhongomyniads we have currently only regular Lartoria has Ignore Invincible, Lalter and Gray don't.

So long as regular attacks aren't AoE, LB Mash can slightly contribute by soaking up some damage, like in the Arjuna Alter fight in LB4.  But when all attacks hit your whole frontline regardless (Like Zeus) this strength is pretty useless.

  21. 3 minutes ago, Water Mage said:

That Zeus fight really baffles me. On one hand, the forced Romulus is really good and they gave him a skill to allow everyone to deal regular to Ruler enemies and on the other hand we have LB Mash who doesn’t contribute and doesn’t die easily. What even more infuriating is that if it was regular Mash that was forced it would have been perfect for this fight as she would help keep Romulus alive for his skill to deal normal damage to Rulers.

At least Roma could be thrown in the backline in favor of a more suitable damage dealer (and from what I remember you still get the normal damage to rulers buff if you do this).  Mash has to be in the front, wasting that precious slot that could have gone to a real buffer.  Regular Mash would have been amazing to have instead with her better NP gain via skill 3, skill based teamwide defense buff, and targetted invincible + battery.

Honestly, I'd love the Zeus fight and it'd be one of my favorite boss fights in the game if it just didn't force LB Mash.  The gimmick was legitimately cool, but Mash just made the whole thing much less fun.
