vp_gaming
Quick question: Does the branch of fate automatically save upon reaching chapter 6? Will it overwrite another branch that's already been saved? Thanks!
indigoasis
This post should help answer your question. Basically, the Branch of Fate takes your most recent save file and uses that as a jumping-off point, almost kinda like a mini save file. vp_gaming
Thanks for the info. So, from what I understand, there is a separate branch of fate saved for any file that passes reaches 6, and the game just loads from the most recently used file. So if I did a lunatic run past chapter 6 and then wanted my hard branch of fate back, I could just reload my hard mode save and then branch of fate from there. This is a lot better than my original worry, that there was only one branch saved in the game and that if I saved a new file on chapter 6 that I would lose my previous "RNG blessed" branch. Glad I could help! And honestly, if you've got a good Branch of Fate to start from, it beats doing the first five chapters again (but that can be done in a little under an hour if you're fast anyway). vp_gaming
Yeah, I have one on hard where I reset quite a bit to give Corrin a head start and grinded him to level 10 early on haha. Took quite a bit of time, especially the grinding, so I don't want to lose it. I'm starting a new file on lunatic and I know there's no way to abuse stats like in hard. I'm glad to know I won't lose my hard branch though!
