Revier Posted April 9 Share Posted April 9 You could say that...but the Loptyrians are heavily implied to have orchestrated the whole "Chalphys killed Prince Kurth" conspiracy in the first place, which got Arvis considerably closer to the throne of Grannvale. While he's certainly resistant of their influence, even in the branch where they get him hooked to Grannvale's long lost princess, they would still hold that favor over him. And hey, who's not to say that they couldn't offer her up as his bride? Though it would of course be considerably more awkward in that scenario, as he couldn't pretend to have retrieved her. Regardless, I think a small note acknowledging the Loptyrians attempting to sway Arvis and/or rescue Dierdre from the execution wouldn't be amiss.
